"Okay, then you can be my little princess, and Mom and Dad’s, for the rest of your life~~ I approve."

"Mhm, mwah. I’m going to sleep now."

Over on his end, Dylan Grant suddenly blushed. "Mwah. Go to sleep."

After hanging up, Elmer Grant pulled his head out from under the covers and said sourly, "Bro, could you guys tone it down a bit? Can’t you see I’m still single?"

"What about your Melody White?"

At the mention of her name, Elmer Grant answered sullenly, "It’s been so long. She’s probably married someone else by now."

"Since you can’t get in touch with her, just forget about it."

"Bro, I have a feeling that if you keep spoiling Dorothy like this, she’s going to walk all over you when she grows up."

"Am I spoiling her?"

"Look at the way you talk to her. Isn’t this exactly how spoiling someone starts...?"

Dylan Grant replied like a world-weary old man, "Women are meant to be spoiled, especially my woman..."

"..."

When they woke up in the morning, the sun was shining brightly.

Quentin Grant personally made breakfast that morning and called his two treasures to get up.

The family of three sat around the breakfast table, the atmosphere a little quiet.

Quentin Grant glanced at his two treasures across the table. "You two, are you still mad at Daddy?"

Dylan Grant spoke up. "Not at all. Elmer and I thought about it. We were too impulsive last night. It wasn’t Daddy’s fault."

Quentin Grant’s hand, holding his chopsticks, paused. "Really?"

Dylan Grant nodded emphatically. "Of course. A real dad is the best dad, and a kid with a dad is a treasure. Stepdads are a dime a dozen, but we’re still willing to give you one warning. We promise not to tell Mommy about this, but there will be no next time."

"Daddy promises!" he replied solemnly. "There will be no next time."

"When is Mommy coming back?"

Quentin Grant looked a little dejected. "I’m not sure."

Just then, Sierra Ainsworth came downstairs, pulled out a chair, and sat down next to Quentin Grant. "Brother-in-law, what time did you get back last night?"

"I didn’t check the time, but it was late when I got back. The boys were worried and even went out to look for me."

Hearing this, Sierra Ainsworth looked at the two kids across from her. "You two went out?"

"Yeah. You were sleeping too soundly, Auntie."

Sierra Ainsworth cleared her throat. "Don’t do that again. You’re too young. If I lost you two, how would I ever explain it to your mommy?"

"Don’t worry, Auntie. We brought Monty with us."

Only then did Sierra Ainsworth nod. "Oh, that’s good."

Just then, the captain of the Men in Black came in. "Young Master, your mother is here. Should we open the door?"

Hearing this, Quentin Grant looked at Sierra Ainsworth. "Go upstairs. My mom can’t know that Nora isn’t home. Get in my bed and hide under the covers."

Sierra Ainsworth immediately stood up. "Okay."

Then, Quentin Grant looked at the captain. "Open the door."

The captain walked out, and the father and his two sons sat there, quietly waiting for Mrs. Grant to enter.

Two minutes later, she arrived.

"Quentin, where’s Nora?"

"She’s not up yet. Mom, what are you doing here?"

"What do you mean, ’what am I doing here’? Do I need to ask your permission to come here now? Am I your mother or not?"

"Aren’t you clear on whether you’re my mother or not?" Quentin Grant retorted. "Or did you find me in a dumpster somewhere?"

Mrs. Grant was furious. "You unfilial son! Are you trying to anger me to death?"

"Mom, you’re here so early in the morning. If there’s something you need, just say it."

"The hospital called me this morning about the children’s vaccinations. The two treasures need to get their shots."

Quentin Grant nodded. "Okay, I’ll take them."

"You don’t have to go, I can take them. Your company is so busy. Besides, your father and I haven’t seen our darlings in a long time. I’ll just take them back to the old family home, and you can pick them up tonight."

Quentin Grant nodded. "Alright. I’ll have to call their teacher and tell them they won’t be in class today."

Mrs. Grant nodded in agreement and stepped forward, asking with a wide smile, "Darlings, hurry up and finish eating so you can go to the hospital with Grandma."

The two treasures stood up. "Let’s go now."

Seeing their unfinished milk, Mrs. Grant said, "Darlings, hurry and finish your milk. You can’t waste it. When Grandma was little, we barely had anything to eat. We were so poor back then, we couldn’t even dream of drinking milk."

Elmer Grant picked up his glass, drank the milk in one gulp, and then set the glass down. "Grandma," he said, "is it because you were so poor that you married Grandpa?"

"...Why would you say that?"

"Because Grandpa is rich."

"...Alright, darling, let’s go. Time to go get your shots with Grandma."

They arrived at the hospital entrance to find a large crowd gathered there, so Mrs. Grant took her two grandsons through a side entrance into the hospital.

A nurse told them to wait, as the doctor had stepped out.

The grandmother and her two grandsons sat on chairs in the office, waiting.

The nurse looked at Dylan and Elmer Grant and said, "What handsome twins. How old are they?"
