Daxton Lancaster turned around, clasping Violet Zimmerman’s hands within his own palms, gazing at her with tender phoenix-like eyes, "Alright, I won’t die, and we’ll grow old together."

Violet Zimmerman puckered her lips shyly, "That’s more like it."

Daxton Lancaster went on a business trip, leaving for a whole month, leaving his newlywed wife alone at home.

Actually, the business in G City didn’t necessarily require his personal presence; staying at home, he utterly didn’t know how to face Violet Zimmerman, so he used the business trip as an excuse.

Incidentally, he planned to see a doctor there.

Atlas Lancaster’s family was busy running the factory and had no time to pick on anyone; only Eva Hayes would occasionally make some sarcastic remarks.

During the day, Violet Zimmerman would go to her mother-in-law’s place to chat with her about everyday things; at night, whether Daxton Lancaster had instructed before leaving or Eva’s younger siblings were just being concerned, the brother and sister would take turns visiting, sometimes both together, so Violet was not so lonely.

Violet Zimmerman’s nightmares began after Daxton Lancaster returned from the business trip.

Daxton arrived home at noon, and after the family finished dinner together at the elder’s place in the evening, he returned to his own residence.

On the way, Violet Zimmerman complained to Daxton Lancaster.

"Daxton, while you were away, mom and grandpa asked every day if there was any movement in my belly."

Daxton Lancaster slightly tightened his phoenix-like eyes, "What did you say?"

Violet Zimmerman glanced at him with a hint of grievance, "I told mom and grandpa that you went on a business trip just two days after we got married, it can’t be that fast."

Upon hearing Violet Zimmerman’s words, Daxton Lancaster secretly breathed a sigh of relief; he thought this woman would truthfully shirk the responsibility.

"Daxton," Violet Zimmerman unconsciously twisted her clothes as she walked towards their residence, "We’ve been married a month already, and you haven’t touched me."

Daxton Lancaster turned his gaze toward her, looking at the woman with the face full of resentment, saying nothing, as if waiting for her to continue.

"Daxton, tell me if something I did isn’t right, if..."

Violet Zimmerman pursed her lips, seeing the woman’s conflicted expression, Daxton Lancaster asked instinctively, "If what?"

"If you have another woman in your heart, just tell me, I’ll make way for you," Violet said, then pursed her lips tightly again.

"What nonsense are you thinking?" Daxton Lancaster pulled Violet Zimmerman over, feeling a mix of emotions within.

This woman was not only kind-hearted but also understanding; how could he bear to give her up?

Violet raised her eyes; it was autumn already, and darkness fell early, the streetlights on the sides cast dim light, under which the woman’s eyes were more dazzling than the stars.

Daxton Lancaster felt a flutter in his heart; this time, after seeing the doctor, with acupuncture and medication working together, there just hasn’t been a chance to test the result.

"If there’s no other woman outside, why don’t you touch me?" Violet Zimmerman persistently asked.

Watching her stubborn expression, Daxton Lancaster smiled and said, "I’ve been busy with the wedding recently, tired, we’ll make up for it tonight."

Meeting Daxton’s gentle gaze, Violet shyly bit her lip.

After a month of treatment, Daxton Lancaster felt confident; returning to the room, he pressed Violet Zimmerman onto the bed, urgently peeling off her clothes while kissing her, Daxton felt delighted to undress Violet completely.

On the redwood bed, the woman bit her lip, her eyes blurred, clear about what was to happen next; though eager, she was also nervous.

Daxton slightly propped himself up, lowering his voice with a seductive tone.

"Violet, are you ready?
