After the Matron Grant divorced from Mr. Grant, she moved out of The Grant Residence.

Not long after, Mr. Grant and The Dowager Grant were sent back to their hometown.

However, in the end, these two were Ethan Grant’s closest kin. No matter how ruthless Ethan Grant seemed, he couldn’t truly be so heartless!

Arriving at the Matron Grant’s place, Serena Sullivan and Ethan Grant walked in jokingly, and before reaching the living room, they heard The Dowager Grant’s voice inside.

Serena wasn’t very surprised.

The old lady, after all, was Ethan Grant’s natural grandmother. If Solaria were really damp, would Ethan Grant absolutely refuse to come back?

"Ethan is here!"

The Matron Grant’s voice followed, she had already informed Ethan that The Dowager Grant and Mr. Grant would be returning.

Ethan Grant did not respond, and the Matron Grant took it as his agreement.

"Serena, sit here." The Matron Grant was even more delighted to see Serena behind Ethan.

She held Serena’s hand; the Matron Grant had long accepted Serena.

She couldn’t understand what previous nonsense clouded her mind, failing to see such a beautiful and smart daughter-in-law, and instead tangled with Mr. Grant and them.

Luckily, it wasn’t too late.

"Serena, what would you like for dinner? I’ll have the kitchen prepare it."

"Anything will do!"

Serena replied with a smile.

As they chatted, they overlooked Mr. Grant and The Dowager Grant sitting nearby; neither of them was pleased to see that Serena and Ethan ignored them upon entering.

"Ahem!"

The old woman coughed first, trying to draw Serena or Ethan’s attention in such a way.

Serena and the Matron Grant continued their conversation, while Ethan sat by himself, attending to no one.

"Ethan!"

Mr. Grant couldn’t hold back, he called out.

The once authoritative leader of The Grant Corporation, the head of The Grant Family, couldn’t stop his son from dating, ended up divorced, became a lonely man, and was driven out of Solaria — thinking about it, it’s humiliating.

Of course, there was also pride amidst the humiliation!

Now, seeing Serena, he no longer held onto his past stubbornness.

Having failed in his own matters, he couldn’t manage Ethan and Serena’s affairs. Let them do as they please.

"When do you two plan to have the wedding?"

"I heard the Sterling Family already held an engagement banquet for you, the wedding must be in Solaria."

Ethan Grant didn’t speak to his father, he only addressed the matter at hand.

Bringing The Dowager Grant here today, Mr. Grant wasn’t there to stop anything; he wanted Ethan to arrange the wedding in Solaria.

Regarding Serena’s background, Mr. Grant truly hadn’t expected it.

Prior, he was so eager to form an alliance with The Sterling Family, urging Ethan to marry their heiress.

Ethan refused, but after twists and turns, he still married.

However, seeing Serena made Mr. Grant embarrassed, as the girl he used to look down upon turned out to be someone he wanted to climb up to all along.

"I know."

Since Mr. Grant brought up the wedding, Ethan Grant answered accordingly.

Returning with Serena was naturally about hosting the wedding.

Allowing Mr. Grant and The Dowager Grant to return was because he was to be married.

If they understood this time not to cause trouble— if they realized, he would let them remain in Solaria, and everyone would be courteous.

But if they thought of breaking him and Serena apart again, then they shouldn’t blame him for being discourteous.

"The wedding will first be held in Solaria, and then in Imperial Capital."

This was Simon Sterling’s idea.

As for the date, Simon hadn’t mentioned it, ultimately unwilling to part with his daughter.

Nonetheless, Ethan Grant wished to give Serena a wedding sooner, and to grandly marry her into the family.
