Chapter 916: Wanting a Child
She walked up to Julian Ford and couldn’t help but tiptoe to give him a kiss.
Julian Ford noticed she was barefoot, frowned in disapproval, and grabbed a pair of slippers from the room, placing them at her feet.
"Put them on!"
"Oh!"
Finn Chandler chuckled in response, feeling the sweetness in her heart from just one word.
"Julian Ford, what delicious food did you have Auntie prepare!"
Finn Chandler asked.
The two of them started chatting like that, and it wasn’t until Finn Chandler went downstairs and remembered that the call with Serena Sullivan was still ongoing that she resumed the conversation.
"Serena, sorry, I was just chatting with Julian Ford."
"Oh!"
Serena Sullivan responded, having overheard the entire conversation between Finn Chandler and Julian Ford.
These were two people in a quarrel, clearly two lovers who hadn’t seen each other in a long time.
Serena didn’t have anything she wanted to ask; given Finn Chandler’s attitude and tone, it was clear she and Julian Ford were completely reconciled.
The reconciliation happened very quickly!
"Finn Chandler, you go ahead and eat with Julian."
Serena ended the call, finding it unnecessary to ask further.
Furthermore, it was obvious from Finn Chandler’s side that all her thoughts were on reaching out to Julian Ford, clearly not wanting to continue the phone call.
Serena looked bewilderedly outside after hanging up, pondering Ethan Grant’s evaluation of Julian Ford.

When Ethan Grant came in looking for Serena, he saw her staring blankly at the desk and asked in confusion, "What’s wrong?"
"Finn Chandler and Julian Ford have made up."
"Finn Chandler is quite capable."
Ethan Grant found it strange too, the speed at which Julian Ford was settled was surprisingly fast.
"I actually think Julian Ford was never really angry with Finn Chandler!"
If he was truly angry, Julian Ford wouldn’t forgive Finn Chandler so easily.

Ethan Grant responded nonchalantly, uncertain himself.
"Ethan, Julian Ford doesn’t seem like the kind of person you described."
Ethan Grant had always said that anyone who offends Julian Ford would be repaid a hundredfold.
Making her worry about Finn Chandler for such a long time!

Seeing Serena praise Julian Ford, Ethan Grant jealously spoke up for himself.
Serena looked at Ethan Grant’s smiling face and gave a helpless smile.
"Have you changed your clothes yet?"
"Oh!"
Ethan Grant remembered the reason he came over; the Matron Grant had invited them for dinner tonight.
"Right away!"
While saying this, Ethan Grant didn’t leave but leaned over to give Serena a kiss.
"Serena, wait for me!"
As Serena watched Ethan Grant go into the bedroom to change, she sat at the table staring out into the dark night.
She really envied Finn Chandler and Julian Ford now, not for their love, but for their perfection.
And as for herself!
Serena started to feel sad, reaching down to her abdomen, wondering if she would ever truly have children in this lifetime!
Ethan Grant quickly changed his clothes and came out, and standing at the door, he saw Serena staring blankly out the window with her hand resting on her abdomen, his eyes suddenly filled with sadness.
Likewise, Ethan Grant also wanted a child.
Not because he wanted an heir, but because having a child would make Serena happy.
