Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

Having dealt with the matter between Pearl Chambers and Fiona Ford, Julian Ford felt at ease. Seeing it was almost time to leave work, he greeted his secretary and left first.

He passed by a flower shop and went in to pick some roses.

When he got home, he smelled a burnt aroma that startled him, quickly putting the roses on the table and running to the kitchen to take a look.

In the kitchen, Finn Chandler was wrestling with a crayfish.

She had just cooked a dish, and that blackened mess was sitting on the plate, unrecognizable as anything edible.

Even Finn Chandler forgot what she had cooked.

She had a whim today, thinking now that she’s a wife and a mother, she should learn to cook from now on.

So, under the guidance of the housekeeper, she started to cook.

Thinking, if she can handle a corporation as large as The Chambers Corporation, just a meal should be nothing difficult.

As it turned out, she failed.

"You’re not cut out for cooking."

Hearing what Finn Chandler said, Julian Ford pursed his lips and smiled.

Who knows why Finn Chandler even thought about cooking!

This wasn’t her first attempt at making food.

Every time, it ended up unbearable!

"Who says so!"

Finn Chandler expressed her dissatisfaction, but the truth was indeed undeniable.

"Alright, it’s better that you obediently stay at home to nurture the baby."

Julian Ford dotingly tapped Finn Chandler on her nose, then lowered his head to gently stroke her belly.

He was truly more and more looking forward to the child they were having together.

The dinner Finn Chandler made was inedible, so the housekeeper remade it.

As Finn Chandler tasted the delicious food made by the auntie, she had to admit she had no talent for cooking whatsoever.

So, she obediently listened to Julian Ford and stayed home to take care of her pregnancy.

However, she thought about it and realized her days ahead might not be peaceful.

The identity of the Young Master of The Chambers Family was false; Old Master Chambers and those people from the Chambers would come to set things straight one after the other.

She didn’t know who would come first?

She wasn’t that worried because she had Julian Ford by her side to protect her.

Finn Chandler and Julian Ford talked while having dinner.

Just as they were about to finish eating, Julian Ford’s phone rang. After answering it, his expression instantly changed, and Finn Chandler even heard crying from his phone.

"I’m coming over right now."

Julian Ford said urgently.

After Julian Ford finished the call, Finn Chandler asked worriedly, "What’s wrong?"

"My dad suddenly fainted and is in the hospital now."

"I’ll go over."

"I’ll go with you."

Hearing that there was a problem with The Eldest Master Ford’s health, Finn Chandler immediately said.

Julian Ford raised his wrist to check the time, seeing it was still early, knowing that if he left Finn Chandler alone at home, she wouldn’t be at ease.

"Alright!"

They both went to the hospital together.

As The Eldest Master Ford had fainted so suddenly, not only was Julian Ford worried, but even the Wife of the Eldest Master Ford, who rarely went out at night, had also arrived.

Waiting outside while The Eldest Master Ford was getting examined, Wife of the Eldest Master Ford felt reassured seeing Julian Ford and Finn Chandler arrive.

"Your dad is still inside for the check-up."

"Hmm."

Julian Ford responded, sitting next to Mrs. Ford.

"Madam, dad will be fine."

On the other side of Mrs. Ford was Fiona Ford.

Upon hearing Fiona speak, Mrs. Ford, who didn’t particularly like her, showed a rare pleasant expression, "Hmm."

Finn Chandler stood there, then found a seat opposite them to sit down.

She looked up at Julian Ford and Fiona Ford, who were concerned about Mrs. Ford, and noticed how attractive these three people were together, it was truly a pleasing sight.

Not long after, The Eldest Master Ford’s examination was over.
