Counselor Zimmerman came in with the evidence, and Miles Morgan knew he had lost.

His mind was in a fog now; he had to plan carefully, find the best lawyer, better than Zimmerman, to fight this case.

The lawsuit was inevitable!

"Alright!" Counselor Zimmerman said as he achieved his goal, "I hope Mr. Monroe will carefully consider my client’s legitimate demands."

"I believe Mr. Monroe is a smart man."

The final words of Counselor Zimmerman made Miles Morgan’s face darken.

Miles Morgan shot a cold glare at Mrs. Monroe, having no recourse against the eloquent Zimmerman who held evidence of his infidelity, he could only turn to Mrs. Monroe.

"You really deceived me!"

"Thorne Thorne, this marriage must end!"

Initially not wanting to divorce Mrs. Monroe, now, the divorce was unavoidable!

What made him even angrier was that Mrs. Monroe had arranged for someone to follow him long ago, yet he felt guilty towards her.

"Anna, let’s go."

Mrs. Monroe didn’t respond to Miles Morgan; she turned her head to speak to Anna Morgan.

Anna Morgan nodded, took a few steps, and saw Riley Preston’s cold smile.

"Counselor Zimmerman, The Monroe Residence is my mom and dad’s post-marital property."

"Does my mom have half the ownership over this house?"

Counselor Zimmerman adjusted his glasses and answered seriously, "Yes."

"Great!"

Anna Morgan smiled and quickly walked outside, while Mrs. Monroe looked on puzzled; Ivy Preston and Miles Morgan both showed signs of worry.

Soon, a "clang" sound was heard as a stone was thrown into the living room’s glass window.

The stone rolled a few steps to Ivy Preston’s feet, scaring her into a scream as she clung to Miles Morgan, exclaiming in panic, "Miles, I’m scared!"

Immediately, a flash went off; unbeknownst to them, Counselor Zimmerman had taken out his phone and snapped shots of Ivy Preston and Miles Morgan’s interaction.

"What are you doing, delete the photo!"

Counselor Zimmerman calmly said, "I have Mrs. Monroe’s consent to use my phone here."

Mrs. Monroe nodded in agreement.

Miles Morgan was about to get angry, but before he could speak, Anna Morgan came in holding a thick long stick.

"Anna, what do you think you’re doing!"

Miles Morgan went over, sternly confronting Anna Morgan.

Anna Morgan smiled at Miles Morgan, "Dad, half of The Monroe Residence is my mom’s. Since my mom no longer lives here and can’t move the things she purchased, the only option is to smash them!"

Having said that, Anna Morgan picked up the stick and headed upstairs. Before long, the sound of banging could be heard, and shortly after, Yara screamed and ran down.

"Sister, brother-in-law, Anna Morgan has gone mad."

"She’s smashed everything in my room."

"All my clothes are in tatters."

Upon hearing Yara’s complaint, Miles Morgan turned his head towards Mrs. Monroe, wanting to question how she raised such an unruly daughter.

On second thought, this daughter was his own!

He wanted to call the servants to stop Anna, but catching sight of Counselor Zimmerman holding his phone, he held back.

After venting her anger, Anna Morgan came down.

She walked over to Mrs. Monroe, feeling great, "Mom, let’s go."

"Alright!" Mrs. Monroe was very gratified to see her daughter vent her anger for her.

Without Anna by her side, she feared she’d either contemplate suicide for a third time, or swallow her pride and bring Ivy Preston back, having to maintain her living afterwards.

Anna Morgan, Mrs. Monroe, and Counselor Zimmerman left together.

Yara cried to Ivy Preston, "Sister, how could Anna Morgan do this!"

"She even poured water over my bed, how am I going to sleep tonight!"

"Don’t cry."

Ivy Preston said with red-rimmed eyes
