Chapter 978 - 977: Want to See Finn Chandler
At first glance, there was nothing visible, but stepping back and looking up, she saw someone standing up there.
She turned her head to look around and noticed more and more people surrounding the wedding car, but thankfully Finn Chandler had already gotten into the car.
"You guys go first, Julian Ford will handle it."
Ethan Grant didn’t explain things clearly, but he didn’t need to say much; Serena Sullivan recognized the person above and knew what was going on.
Just now they were asking Finn Chandler if Mrs. Chambers was coming!
The person did come!
But she ran to the hotel rooftop! What is she up to!
Threatening Finn Chandler?
Serena Sullivan sneered coldly; Mrs. Chambers’ actions were truly heartless. Finn Chandler always believed Mrs. Chambers would admit her mistakes and treat her better.
The result? There was no such result; some people simply never know their faults!
Serena Sullivan opened the car door to get in, and inside Finn Chandler asked her, "Serena, what did Ethan Grant say to you?"
"Someone’s thinking of jumping off the hotel rooftop."
Serena Sullivan spoke half-truths, "This is The Ford Corporation’s territory, and Julian Ford is worried if someone truly jumps, it could impact The Ford Corporation, so he’s going up to check things out."
She completely deceived Finn Chandler, likely making him suspicious.
So Serena said half-truths and concealed the other half.
After hearing Serena’s words, Finn indeed didn’t suspect Mrs. Chambers, answering, "No wonder when I came out, I saw so many people gathering and heard talk of jumping off!"
Both Serena and Ethan Grant heard the people and the conversations, and so did Finn Chandler.
"Let’s head to The Ford Family," Serena Sullivan said with a smile.
"Alright!"
Finn Chandler didn’t continue doubting, and upon hearing Julian Ford and Serena’s words, he hurried to The Ford Family.
Meanwhile, Julian Ford brought his secretary and went to the rooftop.
Today the sky was rainy, and the wind on the rooftop was cooler; Mrs. Chambers stood at the edge, waiting for Finn Chandler. Hearing footsteps, she shouted, "You finally came, if you don’t release your sister, I’ll jump from here."
Mrs. Chambers thought Finn Chandler had arrived, but when she turned her head, it was Julian Ford.
"Why is it you?"
Mrs. Chambers asked in shock, "Where is Finn Chandler?"
"She went to The Ford Family."
Julian Ford replied calmly, stepping forward again.
No one could have imagined Mrs. Chambers would use her life to threaten Finn Chandler for her other daughter.
"She went to The Ford Family!"
Upon hearing that Finn Chandler had left, Mrs. Chambers shouted loudly.
Today was Finn Chandler and Julian Ford’s wedding day; she originally intended to find Finn Chandler at the bridal suite, but halfway there, she realized, no matter how she begged or threatened Finn Chandler, she wouldn’t listen.
So she ended up going up to the rooftop to put on this act.
She waited all afternoon amidst the wind, but Finn Chandler didn’t come, yet Julian Ford did.
For some reason, looking at Julian Ford’s gentle and perfect face made Mrs. Chambers inexplicably fearful.
A man in control of Alder’s most influential family couldn’t possibly be gentle and harmless!
"Is there something mom wants to say to Finn Chandler?"
Julian Ford stepped forward, asking softly.
His address of "mom" made Mrs. Chambers pause.
No matter how crazy and hateful she was towards Finn Chandler, it couldn’t change the fact that she was Finn Chandler’s birth mother.
Julian Ford called her "mom" only for Finn Chandler’s sake.
"I want to see Finn Chandler."
Mrs. Chambers raised her voice and repeated.
"She has things to do and can’t come here. Whatever requests you have, tell me instead."
Talk to Julian Ford?
