Claire Sullivan returned as usual, neither particularly happy nor particularly sad, looking no different from usual.

Could it be that the two of them went out for half the day and just chatted casually without delving into feelings?

This dawdling pair, will they only figure it out when they’re seventy or eighty years old?

Regardless of whether Claire and Simon figure it out, Serena Sullivan and Ethan Grant are definitely returning to Solaria.

Time flies by quickly, and in the blink of an eye, it’s the day they set off. Claire said she had some matters to attend to, so she booked a later flight, and Serena and Ethan left first.

The day before, Serena went to the old house and had dinner with the elderly couple. They couldn’t bear to part with her, and Serena stayed until late.

On the morning of departure, the whole James Sterling family came. The Eldest Master and Second Master Sterling competed to carry Serena’s luggage, but unfortunately, there wasn’t much.

It’s not that there wasn’t much stuff here, but because over in Solaria, Ethan was going to refurnish everything, so they felt it wasn’t necessary to bring too much.

At the airport, the First Mrs. Sterling held Serena’s hand and said a lot of heartfelt things.

She truly treated Serena like her own daughter.

Serena assured them that she would visit the Imperial Capital whenever she had time and would call them regularly.

Due to the departure time arriving, James and the others finally let Serena go, threatening and reminding Ethan to treat Serena well.

Serena found it amusing, seeing Ethan seriously agreeing to each point, and felt even more amused.

In the waiting room, Serena nestled in Ethan’s arms, chatting casually.

"Haven’t been back for so long, feeling both excited and afraid."

"What are you afraid of!" Ethan laughed and asked Serena.

Serena shook her head, unsure herself.

She loved Solaria from the depths of her bones, yet feared it.

The love comes from growing up there, and because the person she loves grew up there too.

The fear comes from the past car accident, afraid that her life might again encounter misfortune and plunge into darkness.

"I’m here." Ethan held Serena’s hand and said softly.

"Cough, cough!"

As they chatted, a cough sounded nearby, but since their eyes were only for each other, neither paid attention to where exactly the cough came from.

"Ethan, I feel like I’ve really had a long dream, and now that I’m awake, why are you still clingingly wrapped around me?"

He clung to her through her entire youth and still does.

"Will have to cling for a lifetime." Ethan smiled warmly as he leaned over to gently kiss Serena on the corner of her mouth.

"Cough, cough!"

The coughs from the woman’s direction began again, and the two of them continued ignoring it.

"Serena, I love you."

Ethan confessed to Serena, his heart only had room for her.

"Cough, cough!"

The coughing continued!

"I quite love you too." Serena deliberately teased Ethan, noticing his face slightly dimmed, quickly raised her head, and kissed his cheek.

A smile immediately spread across Ethan’s face; this was more like it.

"Cough, cough, cough, cough!"

Ethan was about to whisper sweet nothings to Serena again when the coughing intensified, greatly affecting their conversation.

"Cough, cough, cough, cough, cough, cough, cough..."

The coughing wouldn’t cease, didn’t this person have any manners!

"What’s going on with you?"

Ethan followed the cough and turned his head to look back, seeing a clean face, paused for a moment.

Such a familiar woman!

"I say, what’s wrong with you two? I’ve been coughing for ages and there was no response from you?" She felt like she was being treated as air!

The woman angrily said.
