Julian Ford’s warm hand wrapped around hers, and Finn Chandler’s heart suddenly felt warm, healing the wounds Mrs. Chambers had caused because of his presence.

Finn Chandler nodded in agreement, "She is my own mother."
"Hmm?" Julian Ford pressed his lips together, looking at her in confusion.
"She treats me so poorly, I still thought I wasn’t her biological child."
Finn Chandler said with a faint smile.
If I wasn’t, maybe it wouldn’t hurt so much.
Yet, Mrs. Chambers is indeed her biological mother.
And she has never been liked by Mrs. Chambers, even deeply despised.
