Chapter 943: Protecting Her to the End
Julian Ford sent Finn Chandler back to rest, and shortly afterward, Mrs. Ford called.
Needless to say, it must be that Finn Chandler’s situation reached Mrs. Ford.
The journalist media over there pressured him, but it was of no use. Those journalists feared he would suppress all the news, so they quickly transmitted the ins and outs of the matter to major forums using their phones.
He initially wanted to find someone to directly hack those forums and spend money to make this matter fade away without any follow-up.
Finn Chandler said, casually.
She didn’t prevent it, letting the situation develop.
Mrs. Ford didn’t say much on the phone, only instructing Julian Ford to take good care of Finn Chandler.
Soon after, The Eldest Master Ford called, unlike Mrs. Ford’s calm demeanor, he demanded Julian Ford to return to The Ford Family immediately for an explanation of the matter.
Julian Ford thought for a moment, this approach was also good.
Finn Chandler’s situation will continue to develop, so he went to inform The Eldest Master Ford and Mrs. Ford.
After Julian Ford left, Finn Chandler was wide awake.
She was clear on who was behind planning all this and who was calculating against her.
However, what follows might implicate her identity.
Finn Chandler thought it over and sent a text message to Serena Sullivan.
Rather than sit and wait for doom, it was better to be fierce and throw herself out there first.
When not together with Finn Chandler, Julian Ford spends most of his time living at The Ford Family.
Only after he started dating Finn Chandler did he move to a house outside.
Mrs. Ford saw him return and was a bit puzzled, as he hadn’t mentioned coming in the call.
Julian Ford didn’t hide it from her, directly saying it was The Eldest Master Ford who asked him to come over.
"Oh."
Mrs. Ford responded calmly, since he returned, then let’s lay it all out.
"I’ll have someone call him over."
Mrs. Ford instructed the servant to call The Eldest Master Ford over, as she had nothing much to discuss with Julian Ford.
No matter how big the commotion gets, it had nothing to do with her; it was her son’s matter.
"Julian."
Upon hearing footsteps, the first person to speak was Fiona Ford, not The Eldest Master Ford.
"Did Chloe Finch return from the police station? Is she alright?"
Fiona Ford asked anxiously.
"Knowing police came to take her, I worried myself sick."
"She has already gone back to rest," Julian Ford replied, "With me here, there won’t be any issue."
"What are you planning to do!"
The Eldest Master Ford came to the front and asked Julian Ford.
He was never pleased with Chloe Finch; he only reluctantly accepted her because of the child in her womb and Mrs. Ford.
Now, Chloe Finch stirred up such a big issue, implicating the reputation of The Ford Family and Julian Ford.
"Protect Chloe to ensure she is unharmed."
Julian Ford stated simply and directly.
"Protect her?"
Before The Eldest Master Ford could speak, Fiona Ford interjected.
"Julian, if Chloe truly pushed her mom down the stairs, will you still protect her?"
"The consequences of this matter will be very serious."
Julian Ford looked at Fiona Ford’s worried face without speaking.
"We cannot protect her; we must dissociate from her."
The Eldest Master Ford said.
The century-old reputation of The Ford Family cannot be tarnished under any circumstances.
Julian Ford gave a disdainful smile, unwilling to reply to The Eldest Master Ford’s words, let alone argue with him.
He looked at Mrs. Ford, "Mom, Mrs. Chambers won’t be Chloe’s doing, now there is just one witness."
The surveillance was ineffective; it couldn’t be used as physical evidence.
Though troublesome, it wasn’t truly insurmountable.
"Hmm." The Wife of the Eldest Master Ford nodded, thinking it made sense, "Just one witness, you all handle it."
This statement felt odd to Mr. Ford.
