Chapter 869

They explored the main city at the center of the Island of Rokutua that night for several hours. Anton, Paul, and Eric only returned to the suite Anton had rented at the lavish inn by the port at midnight.

The next day, the three of them wanted to continue exploring the city center. After breakfast, they went outside the inn, only to be met by the other young people from the ship. Not all of them had come. Only six managed to get away from their families, and since Anton was in a good mood, he allowed everyone to join him in exploring the main city.

Anton knew that he would become the group's wallet, and he knew the young men and women were taking advantage of his generosity, but he did not care. Since earning coins was easy enough for him, Anton thought the best thing he could do with them was have fun. Besides, enjoying himself with his friends was much better than having fun alone.

He also assumed that once he reached Izmorta and successfully joined a magical organization there, he would not have much time to spend with others. He decided to take advantage of this year-long voyage and enjoy his life as a young man.

Anton felt that the best part of this journey to Izmorta, which he now treated as a vacation, was the lack of pressure. Before this, the attack of the Undead Coalition had always been on his mind. Even though he tried his best not to think about it, the fear of ending up as an undead slave was always lingering in the back of his mind.

The first thing their group did was visit the plazas filled with street food stalls. Even though Anton, Paul, and Eric had just eaten breakfast, they were young, and their food had already been digested. They were ready to eat again.

The street food merchants welcomed the young people who arrived, knowing that youths seemed to have almost unlimited space in their stomachs. The fact that their group appeared wealthy enough to purchase whatever they wanted—or at least that one of them clearly was, which was obviously Anton—made the merchants even happier.

Whenever Anton found food that he particularly liked, he purchased the vendor's entire inventory and stored it in his inventory to consume later.

While their group roamed through the different shops and plazas, they encountered other people from the ship whom they were acquainted with. They informed Anton that many merchants in the temporary market reserved for the ship's merchants were looking for him.

"Why?" Anton asked one of the young men from the other group.

"It's about the toy wands you sold yesterday. Apparently, the local wizards investigated them and discovered that the water coming out of the wands has rejuvenating properties."

"I already told them that."

"According to them, the rejuvenating properties of the water from your toy wands are not as mild as you claimed. They are extremely powerful. They released information that continuously drinking the water from the wand would truly rejuvenate a person's body over time. That means it can actually restore an older person's body to a youthful state," the young man exclaimed.

Everyone present, including the members of Anton's group, suddenly showed awed expressions.

"I know about that. I'm guessing they want to buy more wands from me, but I'm busy exploring the island and don't have time to create more," Anton said with a shrug.

He knew how miraculous mana water was, but he did not want his stop on the island to become focused on creating magic items that produced it.

Anton almost laughed when he saw his friends, including Paul and Eric, clutching something inside their clothes as if they were suddenly carrying an extremely valuable treasure. He knew that the young men and women who had obtained one of the toy wands he created yesterday understood that they were carrying something precious.

He did not care what they planned to do with the toy wands. They could keep them or sell them. It was their decision since the items already belonged to them.

"Well, we also overheard that some of the wizards from the ship want to talk to you about your magic items," another young person from the group said.

Anton sighed, knowing that it was inevitable. He had known for a long time that the water produced by his Diablo II spells was special. Based on his understanding, the water created by other wizards' spells did not possess the same properties as his mana water.

He knew some spells could produce similar effects, but those spells were extremely specialized. Unlike them, the effects of his mana water were broad and general. Not only could it rejuvenate the body, but it also had a mild healing effect. The healing properties were extremely gentle, almost like the embrace of a healing goddess.

The mana water also had a beautifying effect. It made his family's skin smooth and fair while making their hair appear more luxurious.

The mana water could even rejuvenate the land. Plants grown on land maintained by mana water would become magical plants and contain the properties of the water.

A large part of the Rose Manor's wealth came from the harvest produced by land maintained with Anton's mana water. If his father successfully became a king, Anton would attribute part of that success to the mana water that Anders had begun applying to his lands in Oakswood.

According to Anders, the grains produced from the lands maintained by his father's Mana Rain were not only abundant but also possessed magical effects comparable to the grains and fruits grown in the Rose Manor's orchards and fields.

Anton internally shrugged and decided he would deal with the wizards' interest once the voyage continued. For now, he wanted to spend the remaining two days on the Island of Rokutua exploring the entire island and enjoying himself.

"Anton, would you be angry if I sold the wand you gave me?" one of the young men suddenly asked.

"Why would I be angry? Those items already belong to you, so I don't care what you do with them. Make sure you earn a lot since I won't be making any more toy wands," Anton replied.

Anton was startled when everyone, including Paul and Eric, told him they wanted to return to their families so they could sell their toy wands. Anton simply laughed and let them go. He wondered how much they would actually be able to sell the wands for.

Meanwhile, Anton continued exploring the city alone. He visited museums, theaters, and shops, buying anything that caught his interest. Looking at his dwindling finances, Anton was not worried. He still had a large amount of magic metals given to him by Team Gorvin, and he could simply create a Magic Tablet if he suddenly needed more funds.

Anton knew that there was a possibility that he would need a tremendous amount of wealth once he reached Izmorta. If he could not gather enough funds by selling magic items, he could simply enter dungeons and collect mana stones from dungeon monsters. He knew there were dungeons in Izmorta. In fact, dungeons existed all over the world.

While walking through the shops, a local child suddenly shouted.

"The toy wand maker!"

The child immediately let go of his mother's hand and ran toward Anton.

"Big brother! Can you make me a wand? My dad took my magic wand away from me. He said he could sell it for a lot of coins!" the child said.

The boy's mother looked extremely embarrassed after hearing what her son said. She quickly grabbed her son's hand and dragged him away from Anton.

Anton only smiled and shook his head. After hearing what some of the young people had said about the toy wands, he had been certain something like this would happen.

It was unfortunate for the children. He had created those wands so they would have something fun to play with, but now their parents were taking the toys away to sell them.
