Anton was grateful for the rest and relaxation he had enjoyed during his reunion with his family at the ship’s last stop. He felt refreshed and ready to endure the long, uneventful journey to Izmorta.
He tried his best to ignore what Anna had said—that there was really no need for him to spend months in the middle of the ocean when he could simply have someone use a Town Portal Scroll once the ship reached Izmorta.
Anton firmly believed that the journey itself was a valuable learning experience.
He spent most of his time watching anime, movies, and television shows. He also devoted several hours each day to spending time with his friends, wandering all over the ship. Occasionally, while relaxing on one of the decks, they would spot sea creatures swimming alongside the vessel.
The unfortunate part was that the ship traveled far too quickly for anyone to catch fish with a fishing rod.
Anton could have jumped into the ocean to play with the friendly sea creatures that occasionally swam by, but the ship's wizards constantly reminded him that he was not allowed to do such things. If he left the ship by flying or diving into the sea, he could interfere with the defensive arrays that protected the vessel from violent storms and the gigantic sea monsters that attacked from time to time.
At the very least, he could still use Telekinesis to catch fish that entered his perception, much to the amazement of his friends.
If the fish he caught were not edible or considered tasty, Anton would simply throw them back into the ocean. Thanks to his catches, he and his friends were able to enjoy some of the finest seafood the ocean had to offer.
Paul and Eric told him that some of the noble youths had begun looking at their group with envy. Because of Anton, their group, which mainly consisted of young men and women from poor and middle-income families, was treated with respect by most of the merchants aboard the ship.
Their situation was certainly unique. Their friend was the same age as they were, yet he had already become a powerful Supreme Rank Wizard.
Anton had also become remarkably generous toward his friends. Thanks to the enormous amount of money he had received from the elves of Meronoma for his movies, his coffers were overflowing. However, his generosity was mostly limited to treating everyone to meals at the restaurants in the Noble and Middle sections of the ship.
Whenever they ate together, the restaurants presented Anton with a bill that excluded the cost of his own meal, since the ship covered his expenses according to their agreement. He would settle the remaining bill and leave generous tips, much to the delight of the servers.
Anton found it amusing that some of his friends had begun acting like wealthy young nobles—but only when he was with them. Eric quietly admitted that whenever Anton was absent, they immediately returned to their usual humble behavior as the sons and daughters of poor families.
Anton once asked Paul and Eric whether their group had experienced any bullying from the young nobles aboard the ship, but Paul merely sneered.
"Those buffoons are so afraid of offending a Supreme Rank Wizard that they avoid every one of us whenever they see us—even when you're nowhere around."

Out of sheer boredom, Anton returned to studying the creation of magic items. There were simply too many hours in the day when he had nothing else to do.
After a couple of weeks, he successfully incorporated a Mana Stone compartment into the battery storage component of his magic items. Users could now insert mana stones directly into the compartment, eliminating the need for a wizard to recharge the battery by casting spells on the item. The mana stone would continuously replenish the stored mana, allowing the item to function as long as the stone contained energy.
He also refined the internal mana structure, significantly increasing the durability of his magic items.
At the very least, he had finally discovered one practical use for Mana Stones based on his Diablo System. It was only a small step toward understanding their true potential, but it was still progress. Anton was convinced that Mana Stones possessed many more applications that he had yet to uncover.
After completing those improvements, he spent several more weeks producing additional magic items that incorporated the Mana Stone compartment. He created dozens of Frozen Orb air conditioners, Fire Wall stoves, Fire Bolt lanterns, Ice Bolt cups, Telekinesis Skateboards, and his two most powerful creations: the Tablet of Defensive Spells and the Tablet of Support Spells.
Fortunately, he still possessed an enormous supply of crafting materials in his inventory.
Pleased with what he considered a major breakthrough in magic item creation, Anton generously gave each of his friends one of every item he had made, excluding the tablets.
The tablets were simply too valuable. Giving them away might place his friends in unnecessary danger.
Including Paul and Eric, his group consisted of only around twenty-five young men and women, so supplying everyone was not difficult.
Anton burst into laughter when Paul cautiously asked whether they were allowed to sell the gifts. Anton simply told him that the items now belonged to them, and they were free to do whatever they wished with them, including selling them. He only reminded Paul to make sure everyone knew the true value of the items so they would not accidentally sell Anton's creations for far less than they were worth.
Since Anton also wanted to maintain a good relationship with the captain, his officers, and the ship's wizards, he presented them with twenty magic tablets equipped with the newly added Mana Stone compartment. Ten were Tablets of Defensive Spells, while the remaining ten were Tablets of Support Spells.
Even after several weeks of crafting and distributing gifts, Anton still had dozens of magic items left in his inventory.
Paul later informed him that more than half of the young people who had received Anton's gifts intended to sell them. However, they were still trying to determine how much the items were worth before putting them on the market.
One issue eventually arose.
Most of Anton's friends proudly showed off the gifts they had received, especially the floating skateboard. As a result, the envy of several young nobles only grew stronger.
Fortunately, Anton's magic items could still function even without Mana Stones. They could simply be recharged by casting spells into them. Since most of his friends had already begun learning Cantrip spells, they were capable of recharging the items themselves.
Anton was somewhat surprised when Second Officer Liemdal and Supreme Baturin visited his room. Apparently, they had been assigned to speak with him regarding his magic items.
Some of the nobles had complained about Anton's friends showing off their new possessions. In reality, however, Anton could have ignored the complaints entirely. Thanks to his movies and his generous gifts of magic tablets, he had already built a strong relationship with the captain, his officers, and several of the ship's wizards.
The meeting existed only to create the appearance that something had been done. It was little more than a meaningless gesture intended to pacify the dissatisfied nobles.
During their conversation, Supreme Baturin and Second Officer Liemdal asked Anton why all of his creations focused on improving everyday life rather than combat.
Anton honestly admitted that when he first began creating magic items, he had made a promise to himself. He would dedicate his efforts to crafting what he called lifestyle magic items and would avoid creating items intended to serve as weapons.
His answer earned the sincere respect of both men.
