The Rabbit-man did not doubt Jiang Che’s words, because she had no idea what strange skills humans might awaken.

"I promised my friend to leave Dark Star for him to handle. We won’t intervene," Jiang Che seemingly recognized the confusion in the Rabbit-man’s eyes and responded.
"What? What friend?" The Rabbit-man felt she was going insane, does this human even know what he’s talking about?
She widened her eyes, with disbelief etched on her peculiar face.
"Just a seed controlled by Dark Star." Jiang Che didn’t conceal the fact, knowing this couldn’t be hidden and might as well be frank, "He wants revenge."
Besides, dark spirits can sense whether humans are lying, hence it’s better to be truthful given their alternative motives.
Rabbit-man: ???
"Are you joking, relying on a seed for revenge?" The Rabbit-man felt Jiang Che was utterly absurd.
Humans value kinship, but this is too much!
She then glanced at Ding Ning, clearly indicating her question.
You aren’t going after Dark Star either?
Seeing her looking at him, Ding Ning nodded just like Jiang Che.
"A promise to a friend must be fulfilled."
Rabbit-man: What is wrong with you two?

Rabbit-man froze, staring at her, finally understanding why she fell for Jiang Che, and why Jiang Che fell for her.
The two of them were identical, rather obstinate!

"It’s fine to eliminate a few minions there." The Rabbit-man felt impatient.

His earnest and candid demeanor left the Rabbit-man somewhat baffled.
She initially thought Jiang Che was trying to drive her away; now it seemed it wasn’t the case at all?!
"Then you guys handle the challenge yourselves; I’ll go search." She saw Jiang Che’s stubborn look, knowing if she forced him to tell, he wouldn’t relent.
Force wouldn’t work either since Ding Ning was present.
She felt the entire situation was utterly ridiculous.
One refuses to speak, and the other stubbornly insists on taking Jiang Che to explore her Dungeon, ignoring the pursuit of Dark Star.
Humans not understanding is one thing, but Ding Ning seems genuinely immersed in this relationship.

The reason she believed Jiang Che about Dark Star reaching the Human Realm was that just at that instant, she truly heard commotion at the portal entrance.
