Brandon turned to look at the girl that was trying to cause a commotion, but seeing Logan’s expression he also turned and refocused his attention on the phone he was using.

"Wait, am I not talking to you?" the girl immediately spoke, her demeanor changing slightly, but Logan still didn’t care. He was engrossed in his discussion with Miss Stephanie.

In fact, they were even engrossed in a game.

Meanwhile, Logan was still chatting mainly because he wanted to see her face when she receives the gifts he had bought for her.

And that time would come any moment from now.

"Hey, don’t you even have manners?" the girl shoved Logan by the arm as she was already annoyed by his current behavior.

"What on earth is actually wrong with you? I mean, by Christ’s name, can you let me breathe?" Logan said calmly before going back to his phone.

"Alright then. I would like you to know that my dad is the manager of this company. The only reason why you might see me as a middle class is because the company had really not been doing well, but yesterday we had a breakthrough and it would only take a matter of time for the globe to hear our name.

Besides, I was already sure I would get a job. After all, this whole setup was made by the CEO. It seemed like he already wanted to begin the expansion," Crystalbel said with a slight sigh, her shoulders raised as she discovered she had finally gotten Logan’s attention.

In Crystalbel’s mind, she was one hundred and one percent sure that Logan was terrified that he might have just messed with the wrong person.

"Look, no need to be scared. My dad is the manager of this company. Although not the CEO, the manager is typically second in command, so as much as I’m concerned I already have the job.

And as you know, only two people would be employed today. So if you apologize now I might think of telling my dad to employ you, and trust me this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity you would never want to miss. I promise you.

This company is going to blow up."

Crystalbel spoke with more confidence. It was like she was on top of the world already.

Logan only looked at her for a few moments before sighing and going back to smiling on his phone.

{Stephanie: Awwwn I love you so so much. Look at all the gifts here. It’s so pretty, Logannnnn!! You really didn’t have to.}

{Logan: Anything for you, dear.}

{Stephanie: Don’t say that.}

Stephanie commented with a shy emoji.

By now she was already flooding her story with snaps of the gifts, giving Logan various praises.

{Stephanie: I really can’t wait for today, dear. It’s going to be a blast. I promise. Bills on me.}

{Stephanie: But wait, how did you even get the money if you don’t mind me asking?}

{Stephanie: Hope you didn’t borrow or anything like that, because if you did I would surely not be happy with you. I really don’t care about material things the way I care about you. Hope you know that.}

Logan only replied with a bunch of smiling emojis before he finally spoke.

{Logan: You would soon get to know who I am. Don’t worry.}

Logan said with a smiling emoji.

By now his system space was filled with notifications of attraction points he had earned.

By the time he checked it, Miss Stephanie was already now at 12,000 attraction points.

Everything was going so fast.

"So you would just keep ignoring me, right?" By now Crystal was already furious. Her cheeks and the sides of her ears were already blazing red.

Logan had been ignoring her for a long while now, and it was very obvious that it finally caused her to snap right on.

"Don’t worry. My dad would soon come out. Don’t worry, you would be the very first person to leave this place. I promise you that," Crystalbel said, her mood obviously sour.

She had always thought Logan was a walkover.

During the party it only took one word from her to catalyze the event.

But here it was like she was talking to a brick.

Or had Logan moved on?

She immediately brushed the thought aside. It was definitely not possible.

Even if it was, there was no way Logan could just brush off everything she had said just like that for someone as emotional as he was.

Or was he just straight up looking down on her? If that was the case, then she had to show him who exactly she was messing with.

After about 15 more minutes her father finally came down to the reception with a file, ready to see everyone there.

Immediately Crystalbel saw her father she immediately got teary, trying to form like she was in pain.

The rest of the people waiting for the interview could only look at her in shock and speechlessly.

"Dad, dad, this guy here insulted me and said I can never get a job from this kind of facility, but I didn’t respond immediately since I didn’t want to cause any trouble. But now he started insulting me—he and his friend," the man said, pointing at Brandon.

Gaius, a middle-aged man, looked straight at the set of men there and with a cold voice blurted out,

"This company is built on trust and honesty, so please use the door. You have failed the interview without even seeing me," the man said, looking at Logan dead in the eye.

Logan finally looked up, his eyes angered by the amount of times he had been distracted from his conversation.

"Look, if you utter one more word here I promise you would lose your job this instant. Don’t try me," Logan said, going back to his phone.

By now everyone who were waiting and in support of him just turned on him immediately, thinking he was just arrogant and full of himself.

Crystalbel only laughed heartily.

"A low life like you think you can fire my dad? What a pathetic thought," she said, laughing even louder.

"Guards, please come and bundle these two jargons out of my company."
