Chapter 14: Binding Caroline
"Oh my God, I really just can’t believe this. Logan can’t really be this pathetic," Evelyn typed on the group chat.
"You also saw the video, right?" another classmate chimed in as the heat kept rising.
"Yep, you’re right. He’s just trying to cause problems in a peaceful family. I mean, let him go find a way to take care of his bills. This is just stupid, I won’t lie."
"Who knows, it might be those same bills that made him go to the house in the first place." The discussions grew more intense as the group chat came alive, with about five to eight people typing at once, all tagging Logan in the messages.
Before long, Logan had over forty notifications on his phone.
On the other hand, Logan didn’t really care. He sat at the dining table with Brandon, scrolling through his phone and showing no reaction to the messages.
Right now, all that occupied his mind was whether there was any way he could increase Miss Caroline’s attraction points.
When he first arrived, he had thought it was completely impossible. But now, with 300 attraction points already, it felt possible—or at least worth a shot.
Brandon shot Logan a look before returning to his phone. He wanted to tell Logan about what was happening in the class group, but after glancing at Logan’s screen, he could see he was already in the chat, so he decided against saying anything.
Caroline, meanwhile, was rushing to get the dishes ready as fast as she could.
Logan took in everything going on around him and realized this was the perfect moment to figure something out.
Without wasting time, he opened his system space fully.
Miss Stephanie was already at 7000 attraction points.
He was slightly taken aback but not completely shocked. He believed he had done a solid job, and it would only be a matter of time before she reached the 10,000 milestone.

Logan immediately opened the system store and began scrolling through the items.
He did everything through his phone so it looked like he was just browsing some random site. The phone feature was a real lifesaver—Logan couldn’t even imagine how strange he would look if he started pointing at empty air.
He still didn’t understand how those webnovel main characters managed to stare at thin air while talking to people without anyone noticing.
As he scrolled, he finally found something he liked.

Logan read through all the messages carefully and felt eager to start checking the company’s details right away, but he knew better.
He wanted to stay calm during the process, so he decided to wait until he got home.
Miss Stephanie paying off all his bills was already mind-blowing, but the message about the company hit him even harder.
He quickly opened Snapchat and messaged Miss Stephanie.
{Logan – Thank you so much for paying my debt. You didn’t have to, but it really meant a lot to me. I will never forget this favor.}
{Stephanie – No problem, dear. Please make sure you take your medication and let me know if you face any challenges. I really want to help. I promise this will never happen again. Never!!!}

Just as Logan was about to reply, Miss Caroline came out of the kitchen carrying a tray of steamed grilled fish.
Logan quickly tucked his phone into his pocket and stood up to help with the plates. Brandon remained completely unaware, still engrossed in whatever he was studying.
Caroline was sweating heavily. Her boobs were clearly outlined against the top of her dress from the sweat, and since they were already quite exposed earlier, the sight was breathtaking.
Logan took the tray of water from her, leaving the tray of grilled fish for her to carry.
"Wow, it smells really nice," Logan complimented as he took the tray from her hands.
Caroline simply nodded with a smile.

Caroline’s smile shifted into one of mild confusion as she set down her tray.
She couldn’t understand why she had started replaying Logan’s words in her head, or why his voice suddenly sounded smoother and more masculine than she remembered.
Logan smiled slightly. Truly, the night had just begun.
