Chapter 755 -506: Once You’ve Tried It, You’re Not a Kid Anymore
“Stop touching me like that…”
The air conditioner was on, so the temperature in the bedroom was comfortable.
Leaving an arm outside the covers brought a slight chill, so the two of them were snuggled together under the thick duvet.
They murmured quietly to one another.
Jiangg Ning had lost count of how many times she pushed Chen Yuan’s hand away, but moments later, it would sneak back, persistent as a shadow.
“Enjoying this?”
“Of course,” she said, batting his hand away again.
“Mmm… as long as you’re enjoying it, that’s all that matters.”
He savored the feeling in his hand, and his intermittent little movements made Jiangg Ning’s cheeks begin to flush red. Lying together in bed, the bedroom felt cozy. Outside, the occasional chirp of a bird or an insect could be heard.
Ever since they’d first thought of getting engaged, she hadn’t been opposed to sharing a bed with Chen Yuan at night. Still, she couldn’t recall many moments as warm and peaceful as this one.
It was as if the rest of the world had vanished, leaving only the two of them.
Just a moment ago, Jiangg Ning had been insisting she didn’t want to share a room with him. But now that they were both lying in bed, she found herself inexplicably enjoying the feeling…
It was just so warm.
Chen Yuan’s body was like a furnace; just being near him felt scorching. His hands were the same, and the sensation of his skin on hers was wonderfully strange.
“Ningning…”
“What is it?”
“Have you ever thought about something?”
“What thing?”
“Promise you won’t get mad.”
“How am I supposed to know if I’ll be mad if you don’t tell me?” Jiangg Ning said, exasperated.
“Then I won’t say it,” Chen Yuan said hesitantly.
“Fine.”
“No, I still have to say it,” he said after a moment’s thought, pressing on.
Seeing the sidelong glance Jiangg Ning shot him, Chen Yuan suddenly let out a shameless laugh. He pressed his body against hers, hugging her and draping one leg over her.
“Have you ever thought about… when we might be able to take things a step further?” he whispered.
“What step?” Jiangg Ning knew exactly what he was talking about, but she feigned ignorance.
“For the continuation of the human race!”
“Pfft, you’ve been watching too many nature documentaries. ‘Continuation’…”
“It’s something everyone goes through in life… Besides, we’re adults now, not kids anymore. It’s only right that we do what comes naturally.”
She couldn’t deny it.
Chen Yuan did have a point.
Jiangg Ning knew that this was all a normal part of a relationship. As long as their intentions were healthy and they communicated well, it wasn’t something that was too embarrassing to bring up.
She was traditional in her thinking, but her views weren’t old-fashioned.
If Chen Yuan hadn’t brought it up, she, as the girl in the relationship, certainly wouldn’t have initiated it. She’d always believed it was best to let things take their natural course.
“Do you really want to?” Jiangg Ning glanced at him.
“Of course I do. You’re so beautiful, it’d be a lie to say I can control myself. Ningning, you have no idea how charming you are.”
“I don’t see it. I’m not as attractive to you as Yaoyao is.”
“No way. In my heart, Ningning is the most beautiful, beyond compare. Yaoyao’s looks are just… average.”
Chen Yuan sure knew how to talk tough after the fact.
If Jiangg Yao heard him say that, she’d probably laugh at him for the rest of his life. After all, she knew who it was that had craved her body and begged her for it countless times at night.
Even when she was exhausted, Chen Yuan was still relentless.
Even though Chen Yuan’s words were a lie, they succeeded in turning Jiangg Ning’s slight anger into a soft laugh.
What girl doesn’t like to be complimented? She was no exception.
“So what are you thinking?” Jiangg Ning paused before asking softly.
“I think it’s about time. Why don’t we… get a little closer tonight?”
“Tonight?”
“Yeah. It’s just the two of us. Isn’t the timing perfect?”
“It feels a little sudden, don’t you think? Besides, I’m not really mentally prepared,” Jiangg Ning’s voice grew quieter as she spoke. “It’s… embarrassing.”
“Don’t think of it as something scary. Just accept it. The more you fixate on it, the worse it’ll be. It’ll just make you overly tense, and that anxiety might even cause a bad reaction. Just think of it like a game. All you have to do is immerse yourself and enjoy it.”
“Like a game?”
“Exactly.”
“You make it sound so simple,” Jiangg Ning mused, pondering his words.
When it came to this subject, to be honest, Ningning was nowhere near Jiangg Yao’s level. At least Jiangg Yao had theoretical knowledge.
For one, she played a ton of dating sims. For another, she frequently ‘referenced’ related literary works. On top of that, the general online atmosphere was already quite liberal, especially in that fan group of hers full of wealthy women, where every topic, no matter how innocent, eventually turned lewd.
Over time, through sheer osmosis, it would have been difficult for her not to pick things up.
Jiangg Ning, on the other hand, was stuck at the level of middle and high school health class. She was completely clueless about this sort of thing.
The first time she’d tried to “help” Chen Yuan, they had to look things up on their phones right then and there. It had opened up a whole new world for her, to say the least.
“But there’s one thing I need to make clear beforehand… Even though Yaoyao and I are twins, our bodies aren’t quite the same.”
“How so?”
“I’m way, way more sensitive than she is. Do you remember that time you touched my ankle?”
“I remember.”
“There are a lot of sensitive spots on my body. Just one touch can make me tremble all over. That’s why not even my cousin has ever touched me. Yaoyao is the only one who can touch me without me recoiling. I don’t know if I can truly accept you… because of that, it might be… a little difficult.”
“Let me try!”
Hearing this, Chen Yuan’s interest was instantly piqued.
Before Jiangg Ning could react, his hand had already slid down her leg. He grabbed her delicate ankle, then moved lower and lightly tickled the sole of her foot.
Instantly.
Sure enough, just as she’d said, her whole body began to tremble.
Her eyes went vacant, as if she’d received an electric shock.
She jerked her foot back.
“Why so sudden? I wasn’t ready,” Jiangg Ning grumbled, frowning and glaring at him.
“Whoa, it’s real. How fascinating,” Chen Yuan’s eyes glinted with a look of novel curiosity.
“I’m done fooling around with you. I’m going to sleep. I’ve already made a schedule for tomorrow, and I have a lot to do as soon as I get up.”
Jiangg Ning rolled over, giving Chen Yuan her back.
But he wasn’t about to let Ningning off that easily. He behaved for a moment before his hands started wandering again. Now that he knew her weakness, he would launch a surprise attack and then watch her fascinating reaction.
Ningning would go rigid, then snap out of it.
“Are you going to sleep or not? If you’re not, then get out. I was being merciful just by letting you stay in here, and you’re still torturing me like this.”
“Ningning.”
“What do you think you’re—”
Before she could finish, Chen Yuan surged over her, pressing her down into the bed. Her words were cut off as his mouth covered hers… A deep, lingering kiss that made her whole body go limp. It was persistent, both domineering and gentle.
Jiangg Ning’s hands were pinned tightly to the pillow.
They sank into it.
