Leon gently pulled out of Beatrice’s slick heat drawing a soft breathless whine from her swollen lips.

The fiercely disciplined Head Maid lay draped across the masonry looking wonderfully ruined. Her pristine black and white uniform was hopelessly wrinkled and her silver hair stuck to her damp cheeks in a chaotic tangled mess.

Leon took a moment to admire the physical manifestation of his dominance. He had taken a woman who ruled the estate staff with an iron fist and reduced her to a weeping highly satisfied puddle of compliance.

He casually pulled up his tailored trousers and buckled his heavy leather combat belt restoring his rugged martial appearance before reaching out to help her sit up.

Beatrice leaned heavily against his broad muscular chest while her athletic legs trembled violently.

The sheer physical toll of enduring his Endless Vigor combined with the magically amplified pleasure of his Kinetic Friction had completely drained her vast energy reserves.

She reached up with shaking fingers and blindly searched the stone altar for her wire rimmed glasses.

Leon smoothly picked up the spectacles and gently slid them onto her beautiful face. He then proceeded to meticulously button her strict uniform pulling the heavy fabric over her sheer blue brassiere to shield her from the biting cold.

"You are something else Leon," Beatrice murmured softly resting her forehead against his chin. Her icy blue eyes were half lidded and filled with a profound undeniable devotion.

"If the other maids could see me right now my reputation would be shattered."

"Your reputation is perfectly safe with me Lady Beatrice," Leon replied in a deep resonant tone pressing a warm kiss against her silver hair. "But I highly suggest we secure the Imperial Ward Key before the Patriarch sends a search party down here to find us."

The reminder of their highly critical mission snapped a fraction of her professional discipline back into place.

Beatrice took a deep unsteady breath and pushed herself off the altar.

Her knees buckled for a split second but Leon firmly gripped her narrow waist to stabilize her footing. She offered him a highly grateful blush before picking up the glowing runic torch from the damp stone floor.

They proceeded deeper into the winding catacombs navigating the sprawling labyrinth of ancient sarcophagi and towering statues of past Sterling warlords.

The magical pressure in the air grew significantly denser the further they walked making the atmosphere feel thick and suffocating.

They finally arrived at a massive circular chamber located at the very bottom of the ancestral vaults. The room was devoid of graves or statues.

Instead the center of the chamber featured a raised obsidian pedestal bathed in a harsh pulsating blue light.

Resting atop the pedestal was a heavy cylindrical artifact forged from solid gold and etched with intricate glowing runes. This was the Imperial Ward Key.

However the path to the pedestal was heavily guarded.

A sprawling web of jagged crimson sigils was carved directly into the stone floor surrounding the artifact. The magical trap radiated a crushing gravitational force that warped the very air hovering above it.

"The ancestral spatial trap, I didn’t expect it to be active," Beatrice explained softly her breath pluming in the freezing air.

She maintained a safe distance from the glowing red runes.

"It was designed by the first Emperor to crush intruders into fine paste. Deactivating it safely requires three Master tier knights to perfectly harmonize their auras and manually untangle the runic weave. We will have to signal Commander Vance to come down here and assist us."

Leon stared at the lethal magical trap and analyzed the dense gravitational pressure utilizing his Aura Tracking skill.

He realized the runes were generating a localized field of immense spatial weight designed to trigger the moment physical matter crossed the boundary.

He did not have the patience to wait for a squad of battered knights to descend into the catacombs. He possessed the raw stats and the foundational knowledge required to bypass the archaic security system.

"That will not be necessary Beatrice," Leon stated smoothly stepping past her and walking directly toward the edge of the crimson sigils.

"Leon stop!" Beatrice gasped in genuine panic reaching out to grab his tailored tunic. "If you step into that ring the spatial gravity will shatter your spine instantly."

Leon did not halt his advance. He tapped into his expanded magical core and activated his newly acquired Grandmaster’s Insight.

He pushed his Kinetic Domain outward creating a highly pressurized invisible bubble of raw kinetic energy that perfectly encapsulated his broad muscular frame.

He layered his Kinetic Armor tightly over his skin and channeled his one hundred and ninety five points of Agility to move with flawless biomechanical precision.

He stepped directly onto the glowing crimson runes.

The ancient trap triggered immediately.

A devastating wave of crushing spatial gravity violently crashed down upon his shoulders attempting to flatten him against the stone floor.

The sheer force of the archaic magic caused the surrounding masonry to groan and splinter under the intense strain.

Leon firmly planted his leather boots into the ground.

His staggering Strength provided an unyielding physical foundation while his Kinetic Domain actively repelled the crushing weight.

The invisible kinetic force ground fiercely against the spatial gravity generating a blinding shower of blue and red sparks that illuminated the dark chamber.

Beatrice watched in pure unadulterated awe as her rugged handsome lover casually strolled through a lethal trap designed to kill small armies.

The crushing pressure failed to make him bow his head or stagger his steps. He moved with a slow deliberate grace until he reached the obsidian pedestal.

He reached through the violent magical storm and firmly gripped the heavy golden cylinder.

The moment he lifted the Imperial Ward Key off its resting place the jagged crimson sigils etched into the floor violently sputtered and died.

The suffocating gravitational pressure instantly evaporated leaving the dark chamber perfectly quiet once again.

Leon turned around and tossed the priceless imperial artifact casually into the air catching it smoothly with his left hand. He offered the stunned Head Maid a charming wicked smirk that made her heart flutter erratically against her ribs.

"I prefer to handle things myself," Leon murmured deeply walking back across the ruined floor and handing the heavy golden key to her.

Beatrice accepted the artifact with trembling fingers her icy blue eyes locked onto his face.

She was a woman of logic and rigid rules but the man standing before her defied every single law of the hierarchy.

"Let us return to the surface," Beatrice whispered softly securing the key in her satchel.

"The war council is waiting."
