Chu Lingyuan’s gaze flickered. He looked at Qin Yun. "Was that... Master just now?"

Qin Yun’s expression tightened. She stood up and left without a word. ’The secrets surrounding Su Chen seem to be even greater than I imagined...’

...

On Wei Zhenghong’s Floating Island, the lights were bright, and more and more people were arriving.

Zhao Ming, Jiang Mufeng, Zhang Heng, and even some people he had never seen before—everyone who should and shouldn’t have come was there. Each one of them came to toast Su Chen, their words a mix of amazement, curiosity, and subtle probing.

The liquor at Wei Zhenghong’s place was anything but ordinary. Even with Su Chen’s current physique, he could barely handle it, so he could only pretend to be unable to hold his liquor.

He waited until everyone’s attention was elsewhere before having Wei Zhenghong escort him out.

He didn’t know the trick to directly expel the alcohol from his system, so he had to wait for his Gulping Stomach to break it down.

A cool breeze sobered Su Chen up considerably. He looked at Wei Zhenghong beside him and said, "I’ve already spoken to Master Qing. When the time comes, just take your disciple to see him directly."

"Thank you." Hearing that the matter was settled, Wei Zhenghong’s expression relaxed even more. He escorted Su Chen to the port and watched him leave before humming an unidentifiable little tune and returning to the brightly lit hall.

...

On the Flying Device, Su Chen shook his head. In reality, he had stopped drinking the moment he started feeling dizzy, and of course, no one had tried too hard to persuade him otherwise.

He was actually still quite clear-headed. He adjusted the destination of his Flying Device, heading straight for the Copper Heart Department.

"The Creation Copper Heart..."

He had heard of its extraordinary nature several times, and now that he finally had the chance to use it, he was naturally eager to experience it for himself.

The Flying Device docked at the Copper Heart port with a CLANG. The bored-looking staff member on duty jumped in fright upon seeing Su Chen, then flashed a smile far more fawning than usual as he escorted him out of the port.

Su Chen walked for a while. The paths were sparse, and he barely saw anyone. ’So few people. Did they all run off to Old Wei’s place?’

’This is actually perfect. I won’t have to greet people one by one.’

The location of the Creation Copper Heart wasn’t in the core area; on the contrary, it could be described as remote.

He followed the main road onto a small path, and after a few twists and turns, the view suddenly opened up. Before Su Chen stood a square, metal hall. It looked as if it were cast from a single block of red copper, with no visible seams on its surface. It didn’t cover a large area.

"A bit unexpected..." Su Chen muttered, sizing up the red copper hall. Four guards stood at the entrance, clad in heavy, Bronze-colored combat armor. The aura they exuded made even him feel a faint sense of alarm.

’At least Tier Seven...’ Su Chen walked forward and presented his identification. After a brief inspection, the guard allowed him to enter.

The metal doors slid open to either side. As he stepped inside, his attention was immediately drawn to the Bronze pillars flanking the hall. Molten copper flowed over their surfaces, congealing into various patterns.

The ceiling was inlaid with numerous Copper Stars that slowly rotated, casting down fragmented spots of light that hovered like fireflies.

In the central area was a portal that seemed to be an illusion of light and shadow.

"Ahem..." Just as Su Chen was about to step forward, he heard a dry cough from behind him. His heart skipped a beat. Turning his head, he discovered a withered old man by the side of the door. The man was like a piece of deadwood, his skin shriveled, and he was reclining on a floating, silver-white metal lounge chair.

He hadn’t sensed him at all when he walked in.

"Su Chen? A Star Seed?" The withered old man lifted his eyelids. "You’ve certainly caused quite a stir."

’This old man is no simple character...’ Su Chen didn’t dare to be disrespectful. He asked, "And you are, senior?"

"Just call me Brother Ku. I’m the administrator here."

’So he really is from the same generation as Qing Cang and Chu Lingyuan. He’s probably a Tier Nine Professional, too.’

Su Chen quickly greeted him. The old man nodded slowly. "There have only been a few Star Seeds like you in the history of the Sect. Are you here to use the Creation Copper Heart?"

"That’s right," Su Chen nodded, then asked, "Brother Ku, this is my first time using it. Is there anything I need to be aware of?"

"There’s nothing you need to be aware of. You’ll understand once you go inside." The deathly aura on the old man was terrifyingly heavy, as if he might fall into a deep sleep the very next second and never wake up again.

"Oh... all right." Su Chen looked at the virtual portal before him. Just as he was about to step through, he asked hesitantly, "Brother, will what happens in there be known to others?"

"Others?" The old man’s chest moved slightly, and a smirk-like expression appeared on his bark-like old face. "This Creation Copper Heart is assisted by the power of an Ancient King. Who could possibly spy on it?"

Su Chen was inwardly shocked. ’This is a manifestation of an Ancient King’s power? I’ve never heard anyone mention this before.’

’In that case, other than the Ancient King, probably no one can know what happens inside.’

"I understand." Su Chen nodded and stepped through the portal. He felt the world spin around him as streams of Flowing Light intertwined before his eyes, finally transforming into an otherworldly Star Universe vista.

"Welcome, Star Seed Su Chen. How may I help you?" a voice sounded in his ear.

Su Chen felt it was vaguely familiar and suddenly asked, "Are you the Copper Spirit?"

The voice went silent for a moment before replying, "That’s right. I didn’t expect you to recognize me."

’What exactly is this Copper Spirit?’

Su Chen speculated internally. ’The Creation Copper Heart is a manifestation of an Ancient King’s power... could the Copper Spirit be one as well?’

"I want to use the Creation Copper Heart to complete my Professional requirements. What’s the procedure?" Su Chen asked.

"You only need to inform me of the Professional requirements, and I will create the environment for you."

Su Chen opened his panel, took a look, and said, "I need to heal the injuries of at least 5,000 people."

The Copper Spirit’s voice was calm. "Are there any requirements regarding the severity of the injuries? The healing methods used? The healing environment?"

Su Chen glanced at the requirements for Holy Mark Physician again. "It’s best to use medical techniques. As for the rest, there are no requirements..."

"Understood."

As the Copper Spirit’s voice faded, the surrounding Star Universe scene gradually transformed into a sterile white room.

It resembled an operating room, with various medical instruments placed all around and a medical bed before him.

Someone walked in from the door. He looked no different from an ordinary human, was dressed appropriately, and walked with a hurried gait.

"Dr. Su," the person called out, his face showing the typical fear and nervousness one has when facing a doctor. "I accidentally cut my arm with a knife. What do you think I should do?"

He held out his arm, revealing a cut on his forearm about an inch and a half long, from which blood was flowing freely.

"This..." Su Chen was somewhat stunned. He looked at the person before him, who was so incredibly lifelike that he showed no signs of being a puppet.

"Dr. Su?" the person called out, a hint of anxiety appearing on his face. "It hurts a lot. Could you give me something for the pain first?"

"Oh, right." Su Chen came back to his senses. He had never formally studied this kind of simple medical procedure, but he had seen it done before.

’First alcohol, then wrap it with gauze... A simple treatment like this should count as a medical technique, right?’

He glanced at the requirement tracker; it counted as one successful treatment.

Only after the person left did the Copper Spirit’s voice sound again: "Is this method of treatment acceptable?"

"Yes," Su Chen nodded, but he couldn’t help asking, "What’s the deal with these people?"

"Rest assured, they are merely humans woven from data," the Copper Spirit replied. "Please prepare yourself."

’Woven from data?’

What followed was a true eye-opener for Su Chen.

People came in one after another: men and women, old and young, the weak, the sick, the disabled—there were even pregnant women. Their injuries were all different.

He even encountered unreasonable people, which truly broadened his horizons.

After a while, he grew somewhat numb, simply repeating the motions mechanically.

An unknown amount of time passed until, at a certain moment, the Copper Spirit’s voice suddenly rang out: "Treatment of five thousand people is complete. Do you require more?"

Su Chen’s body jolted slightly as he snapped back to reality. He glanced at his panel and saw that the requirement was now marked as complete.

He couldn’t help but ask, "How much time has passed?"

"Are you asking about time in the outside world? That would be six hours."

"Six hours..." Su Chen was dumbfounded. A requirement like this, if done in the outside world, would have consumed a great deal of time and energy just to find suitable people, arrange schedules, and manage the logistics.

But inside the Creation Copper Heart, it was completed easily in just six hours. It was truly worthy of the name, as if it could "seize the very creation of the Star Universe."
