"That’s all the more reason to build. It shows that our Bronze Sect has long-term plans for the future," Qing Cang said, his voice cold and hard. "Besides, we only need to put up the framework. The other facilities can be completed slowly over time."

Chu Lingyuan was getting a headache, but seeing Qing Cang’s resolute attitude, he could only agree after some thought. "Fine. I will issue an order to dispatch what you need."

Qing Cang then added, "Not only resources, but I’ll also need twelve Grand Constructor Masters."

Chu Lingyuan’s eyelid twitched. "You’ve really got some nerve!"

In the Dust Star Sea, over 95% of all Professionals focus on amassing their own power. Very few choose to pursue support professions.

However, those who reach the pinnacle of their craft are extremely sought after. Top Level Caster Masters, Constructor Masters, and even chefs can all play wondrous roles in their respective fields.

Take Grand Constructor Masters, for example. Entrusting them with complex structural blueprints can shorten construction time by dozens of times.

But a Grand Constructor Master must be a Tier Eight Mental Professional at the very minimum, or they would find it impossible to manipulate so many complex materials at once.

This places a high demand on one’s Talent.

In other words, truly Top Level support Professionals must also possess high Talent, which makes them even rarer.

"The Sect has only managed to train five or six Grand Constructor Masters in total, and you’re asking for twelve right from the start?" Chu Lingyuan couldn’t help but retort.

"Just borrow them from other Sects or factions."

Chu Lingyuan snorted. "You really know how to make work for me, don’t you!"

This was his way of agreeing.

Qing Cang’s gaze then fell upon Qin Yun, his expression softening slightly. "It’s rare for you two to be gathered here. What great matter are you discussing?"

"It’s nothing major." Qin Yun looked somewhat resigned. "The Peak Star Conference is approaching, and I was hoping to request a few uses of the Creation Copper Heart for Tianlin, to help him break through to Tier Seven as quickly as possible."

"Requesting to use the Creation Copper Heart?" Qing Cang sneered. Once he understood Qin Yun’s purpose, his tone immediately grew hostile. "Every use of the Creation Copper Heart drains Master’s energy. How dare you even ask?"

Chu Lingyuan also seemed resigned. "The right to use the Creation Copper Heart is tied to the challenge system. Master is fundamentally involved in all of it, and the data isn’t something we can just override on a whim."

"I understand. That’s why I wish to use my contribution points to exchange for the opportunities," Qin Yun explained.

The Bronze Ancient King’s decree stripping him of his right to handle Sect affairs had not been an empty threat; all of his authority had been revoked.

Otherwise, with his status as a Morning Star Tier, he would never have needed to come to Chu Lingyuan for such a matter. But things were different now.

Upon hearing this, Qing Cang stopped his aggressive posturing. Even he could not deny Qin Yun’s contributions to the Bronze Sect.

Chu Lingyuan mulled it over for a moment before saying, "If that’s the case, then there’s no problem."

"Thank you, Senior Brother," Qin Yun said politely.

"Of course." Chu Lingyuan waved his hand, offering some conventional praise. "Tianlin possesses a Divine Dawn Level Talent and is highly valued by the Sect. Once he advances to Tier Seven, he’ll be a strong contender for the title of Peak Star at the Peak Star Conference."

Qin Yun let out a self-deprecating laugh and shook his head. "It’s just to let him gain some experience. Let’s not even mention that our own Sect’s Shen Yi’an has already achieved a Melting Holy Profession."

"Then there’s Han Xingliu of the Royal Court, who achieved a Melting Holy Profession years ago. And there are several other Divine Dawn Level Star Seeds who are even more terrifying."

"Every Peak Star Conference is a clash of titans. Tianlin still has a long way to go."

Seeing Qin Yun’s display of feigned humility, and then thinking about how Qin Tianlin had just secured the top rank on the Tier Six Holy List, Qing Cang’s mood soured even further.

Just as he was about to leave, the expressions of all three men shifted simultaneously, their gazes turning involuntarily toward the door.

Someone burst straight through the door—it was Chu Ran, who couldn’t wait to shout, "Grandfather, Su Chen defeated Qin Tianlin! He’s the new number one for Tier Six!"

Before the words were even fully out of Chu Ran’s mouth, the expressions of the three men had changed. The very air in the room seemed to freeze.

A chill went through Chu Ran. His excited expression vanished as he finally noticed the other two people in his grandfather’s room.

Qin Yun and Qing Cang. The three disciples of the Ancient King were all gathered here. He swallowed hard.

"Who did you say defeated Qin Tianlin?" Chu Lingyuan’s brow was tightly furrowed. He had already reprimanded Chu Ran countless times for his reckless nature, yet the boy hadn’t changed one bit.

"S-Su Chen... He’s my Martial Grand-uncle... your junior brother," Chu Ran stammered. He could already feel Venerable Qin Yun’s gaze turn sharp and chilling, while a strange expression played across Qing Cang’s face.

Chu Lingyuan’s expression was one of disbelief. "’Isn’t he a Tier Five Professional? How could he...’"

With a mere thought, a virtual screen materialized before him. The list appeared, proving that Chu Ran had not lied.

’This kid actually...’ Qing Cang’s heart trembled. The long-forgotten sting of having missed out on such a prime disciple surged forth once more.

But when he turned and saw the dark expression on Qin Yun’s face, he couldn’t help but let out a laugh. "Ha!"

"’Our little junior brother is really something...’" Chu Lingyuan mused. He then glanced at the nervously swallowing Chu Ran, his face hardening as he barked, "So impetuous! Don’t you know how to knock before entering? Get out!"

Chu Ran was practically chased out by the glare, his heart pounding with apprehension as he carefully made his way down the corridor.

The moment he turned the corner, however, he shot off in excitement. He couldn’t wait to find Old Wei and drink his fill.

And then, he would recount what just happened, adding plenty of his own colorful embellishments.

Back in the room, Qing Cang was watching Qin Yun, who was visibly struggling to keep his composure. Just as he was about to speak, Qing Cang’s own expression suddenly grew serious and respectful. A moment later, he said, "Senior Brothers, I’ll take my leave now."

With that said, before either of them could respond, his figure dissolved into a gust of wind and vanished.
