Chapter 80: Boss Battle
The space around it distorted as the bullet instantly crossed the distance between Kaiser and the wyvern.
It struck the creature’s side.
A deep crack appeared across several crystal scales.
Kaiser nodded.
"Space Bullet is still useful against its defenses."
He continued firing.
"Space Bullet."
"Death Bullet."
"Golden Bullet."
The three different bullets struck different areas of the Glacial King Wyvern’s body.
The Death Bullets attacked its vitality.
The Golden Bullets dealt powerful direct damage.
The Space Bullets bypassed some of its physical defenses.
The Glacial King Wyvern finally became more aggressive.
It raised its wings.
A massive amount of Ice Mana gathered around it.
Kaiser immediately recognized that something powerful was coming.
"Molten Slime!"
Molten Slime reacted immediately.
"Molten Fortress!"
Its body expanded and formed a large defensive structure around Kaiser, Marina, and Grand Blood Warlock.
The Glacial King Wyvern released its attack.
A massive blizzard spread across the entire valley.
Ice covered everything within several hundred meters.
The temperature dropped sharply.
Large chunks of ice were thrown through the air like blades.
Molten Slime’s fortress was continuously damaged.
Its molten body rapidly froze on the outside.
However, its Extreme Heat kept melting the frozen layers while Extreme Regeneration repaired the damage.
Grand Blood Warlock raised his hands.
"Blood Shield."
A thick blood barrier formed behind the molten fortress.
The ice storm continued for several seconds.
Kaiser remained inside the defense and watched the wyvern.
"It can’t keep using attacks like that forever."
Marina nodded.
"I’ll prepare the poison."
She activated Atomizer.
The Nightshade Poison she carried was broken down into microscopic particles.
The particles spread through the air but remained under Marina’s control.
She waited patiently for the storm to weaken.
Eventually, the blizzard began to disappear.
Marina immediately moved her poison toward the wyvern.
The microscopic poison particles surrounded its body.
The Glacial King Wyvern noticed the strange substance and released another wave of Ice Mana.
The poison particles were pushed away.
Marina frowned.
"Its Ice Mana is disrupting the poison."
Kaiser nodded.
"Then don’t force it."
Marina changed her approach.
Instead of spreading the poison throughout the battlefield, she concentrated it into a small area.
The microscopic particles gathered together and formed several dense streams.
Marina directed them toward the gaps between the wyvern’s crystal scales.
Some of the poison managed to enter through the damaged areas.
The Glacial King Wyvern roared.
Molten Slime immediately attacked.
"Magma Barrage!"
Large chunks of molten rock shot toward the wyvern.
Several struck its body.
The wyvern’s crystal scales cracked under the repeated attacks.
Molten Slime then used Molten Spikes.
Large molten spikes emerged from the ground beneath the wyvern.
The Glacial King Wyvern jumped into the air to avoid them.
Grand Blood Warlock was waiting.
"Blood Spear!"
Several blood spears flew upward.
The wyvern twisted its body and avoided most of them.
One spear pierced its wing.
Grand Blood Warlock immediately activated Blood Drain.
Blood began flowing from the wound toward him.
The wyvern quickly froze the wound to stop the bleeding.
Kaiser looked at the damaged wing.
"Good. Keep targeting its wings."
He raised his hand.
"Space Bullet."
The bullet instantly appeared beside the wyvern’s wing.
It struck the damaged area.
Several crystal scales shattered.
The wyvern lost some of its balance.
Kaiser followed with several Golden Bullets.
The bullets struck the same area.
The damaged wing finally began bleeding.
Marina took advantage of the opening.
She condensed the Nightshade Poison into dozens of thin daggers.
"Go."
The poison daggers flew toward the damaged wing.
Several pierced through the broken scales.
The poison entered deeper into the wyvern’s body.
The Glacial King Wyvern roared and rapidly flapped its wings.
A powerful gust threw the poison daggers away.
It then descended toward the group.
Molten Slime moved forward.
"Molten Body!"
Its entire body expanded and became much larger.
The wyvern’s front claws slammed into Molten Slime.
The slime absorbed most of the impact.
However, the force still pushed it backward.
Molten Slime immediately wrapped part of its body around the wyvern’s front leg.
"Molten Spikes!"
Spikes emerged from its body and pierced the wyvern’s leg.
The Glacial King Wyvern tried to pull away.
Molten Slime held on.
Grand Blood Warlock used the opportunity.
"Blood Prison!"
Blood surrounded the wyvern’s legs and began restricting its movement.
The Glacial King Wyvern struggled against the Blood Prison.
Its powerful legs tore through several layers of blood, but Grand Blood Warlock continued supplying mana to the skill.
Molten Slime also tightened its grip around the wyvern’s front leg.
"Don’t let it escape."
Molten Slime released more heat from its body.
The ground beneath the wyvern began melting.
The Glacial King Wyvern swung its other leg toward Molten Slime.
Molten Slime quickly changed its shape and absorbed the impact.
"Adaptive Form."
Its body flattened against the ground before quickly reforming around the wyvern’s leg.
The wyvern tried to pull away again.
This time, Grand Blood Warlock attacked.
"Blood Spear!"
Several blood spears appeared around him and shot toward the wyvern’s exposed body.
Three spears struck its chest.
Another pierced its damaged wing.
The wyvern roared and broke one of the spears with its claws.
Grand Blood Warlock immediately followed with Blood Bolt.
Several blood bolts struck its head and neck.
Kaiser stayed behind his two pets and continued attacking from a distance.
"Golden Bullet."
A golden bullet struck the damaged scales on the wyvern’s wing.
"Death Bullet."
A black bullet followed and entered the same wound.
"Space Bullet."
The space-based bullet instantly appeared beside the wyvern’s body and struck another damaged area.
Kaiser continued alternating between the three affinities.
The Glacial King Wyvern’s scales were extremely durable, but the repeated attacks were slowly creating more cracks across its body.
Kaiser noticed that the damage was accumulating.
"Keep attacking the damaged areas."
Marina nodded.
She continued controlling the Nightshade Poison with Atomizer.
Instead of spreading it over a large area, she kept most of it concentrated around the wyvern’s wounds.
The microscopic poison particles entered through the cracks in its scales.
The Glacial King Wyvern shook its body violently.
The movement forced some of the poison out.
Marina immediately redirected the remaining particles.
She formed them into several thin streams and sent them toward its eyes and mouth.
