Chapter 76: Can’t Die Virgin
Jenny threw herself right in Fredrinn’s arms, broken sobs slipping out of her lips as she nuzzled against his chest.
The demoness was right there, standing next to her, and Jenny could instinctively feel a great sense of danger to her well being.
She felt that if she didn’t move away, she would be torn apart and turned into zombie food, but... Jenny still didn’t move.
Instead, she hugged him even tighter, burying her head as she refused to see or acknowledge the demon at all. After all, she could barely believe that he was actually here and she was actually alive.
Fredrinn was surprised by her actions as he smiled lightly and stroked her back, also using the other hand to caress Rose lest she flips out and kills Jenny out of jealousy.
And it was a good thing that he appeased her, as Rose was seconds away from forcefully removing Jenny off her husband.
’Hubby will be sad if I kill her... I can’t...’ Rose thought blankly as she enjoyed his touch, her eyes focused onto Jenny’s shaking body.
She was injured and her body barely seemed to have any energy remaining.
"GRAAHH!" Suddenly, a zombie broke out of the freeze, ruthlessly pushing the other frozen zombies away as it began to charge in Fredrinn and Jenny’s direction.
Rose’s eyes became cold.
She removed Fredrinn’s hand from her waist as she stepped towards the zombie, kicking it right in its guts as it was sent flying several meters away.
But, she didn’t stop there. She caught up to it with ease, driving her heel right into its skull, silencing the zombie once and for all.
Max instinctively took several steps backwards at the sight.
The zombie that Rose just killed was clearly a stage 3. The kind with ridiculous amounts of regeneration and strength.
And she killed it in a blow...
His eyes travelled onto Fredrinn as he silently grit his teeth, during this entire fight, he had levelled up to the whopping level 20, and yet, he felt like he was no match for Fredrinn or Rose!
How much stronger was Fredrinn anyway?!
Was he even level 15 as he proclaimed to be? Or more importantly, was he even a human?
Aadav was having similar thoughts as he lay on the floor, wheezing and coughing blood from his injuries.
Luckily, all three of them had managed to avoid the zombies from biting them, accumulating several injuries in exchange.
Rose glanced in the distance as she saw some zombies thawing out of her demonic orders, their bodies trembling with power.
These were the zombies that stopped to eat other zombie corpses rather than joining the horde and attacking the humans.
"Your powers don’t work on stage 3 and above zombies?" Fredrinn asked as he noticed the same happening.
Rose shook her head, "They don’t. That’s why Rose killed stronger ones and only kept weaker ones under her control. But..."
She looked at the awakeners with a hateful and irritated expression, "These weaklings gave them a chance to evolve. How useless."
Max and Aadav grimaced at her words but didn’t dare to retort.
"Can you kill those zombies, please Rose?" Fredrinn smiled at Rose.
Rose first looked at him, then at Jenny who was still hugging him.
She scoffed, flicking her crimson hair with a smirk, "Rose can do anything for hubby."
However, before Fredrinn could feel glad about her words, she continued.
"But, Rose doesn’t want that weakling to cling onto Rose’s hubby. If hubby gets her off, then Rose will help." She said, folding her hands under her bountiful breasts, making them pump up even more.
’Hubby...?’ Jenny’s mind short circuited itself as she heard that big titted demon’s words.
’Why isn’t he refusing her claim...? Is she really his wife? WHAT?! Fredrinn is a married man?! And he dares to claim he never had romance?!’
Instinctively, Jenny stepped backwards from his embrace as she looked at him speechlessly.
Fredrinn raised his hands in surrender and took a step backwards himself, making Rose nod in appreciation.
She didn’t need him to tell her twice, as she stomped her heel down and swiftly got to work, killing the zombies left and right with just her sharpened nails or the heels.
Her slender, beautiful leg was soaked in blood and more blood was trickling down her hands, making her appear even sexier and dangerous at the same time.
She didn’t care about the filth, as she moved right beside Fredrinn and casually wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss in front of everyone... especially Jenny.
Jenny couldn’t comprehend what was happening at all.
What even happened between the two of them in this short time??
She looked at Fredrinn questioningly, but Fredrinn only sighed softly and gestured that he would tell her later.
The environment around the group had suddenly become tense as the weaker zombies were now frozen and all the newborn 3rd stage zombies were already dealt with.
Aadav and Max both felt reluctant about approaching the hot demon lady as well as Fredrinn, while Jenny was still reeling from the realisation that Fredrinn was married to a fucking zombie.
As for Charlie, everyone had forgotten about the poor teen until Fredrinn remembered about him and led Rose to him.
"Rose, can you tell me if there’s a way to save him?" Fredrinn turned to Rose as he stood in front of Charlie.
His condition had worsened infinitely times over, and it was more of a miracle that he was still breathing.
Rose stared at Charlie, before her eyes ran over the gruesome bite mark on his forearm.
She hummed, "If hubby wants to save him, it’s possible. But... he would turn into a half zombie, his lifespan would be decreased to maybe a couple weeks, his intelligence would be severely damaged and it won’t be painless."
Fredrinn sighed deeply, if those were the drawbacks, then was it even worth saving him? Sure, he could help out a lot, but from his perspective... Why would he try to squeeze out just a few more days if he was going to die anyway?
However, Charlie thought differently.
Hearing Rose’s words, he coughed out blood, appearing weak as he softly whispered...
"I want to... live more... can’t die virgin..."
