A thunderous voice echoed throughout the dark world, shaking the very heavens.

"NO, YOU DON’T!"

The instant those words rang out, Nova’s entire body froze. He couldn’t move. Not even a single finger obeyed his command.

A chill ran down his spine as realization dawned upon him. The owner of the domain had sensed him trying to activate the Spatial Teleportation Crystal and had stopped him with absolute ease.

But how...?

Even if I was inside the domain, they shouldn’t have been able to sense the spatial fluctuations unless...

{...You guessed it, most likely, the domain’s owner—or someone nearby—possesses the power of space as well. That’s how they detected it.}

Nova’s heart sank. This was the worst situation he had ever faced in both of his lives. In his previous life, he had only lost his own life.

But this time...His wives were with him.

The mere thought of something happening to them filled him with unbearable sadness.

I should have listened...I should have taken that fortune teller’s warning more seriously.

Just like the dungeon before, he had once again stepped into mortal danger. No...This was infinitely more terrifying.

Nova desperately forced his racing mind to search for a way out. Then, an idea flashed through his head. Before he could act, however, an irresistible force seized both him and the carriage.

They were dragged through the air toward the distant horizon.

"NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, STAY INSIDE THE CARRIAGE!"

Nova shouted at the top of his lungs. Only then did he realize Bai Chen was still sitting on the driver’s seat. The horses had long since died under the Emperor’s overwhelming pressure.

Nova could do nothing to save them.

He could barely move his own body.

With no other choice, he attempted a technique he had secretly practiced over the past three years. He had never successfully used it before, but this was his final chance to protect the people he loved.

The carriage shot across the sky toward the endless armies of demonic beasts , strange red skin creatures at terrifying speed.

In mere seconds, they were flung hundreds of kilometers away from where they had originally been.

Everything now depended on whether his desperate gamble would succeed.

As the carriage plummeted toward the ground, Nova released every ounce of his Chaotic Energy and Demonic Energy without holding back. At the same time, he activated his Voidborne Telekinesis, desperately slowing the carriage’s descent.

Fortunately, the domain’s owner had completely underestimated him.

The carriage struck the ground with tremendous force—But instead of being reduced to splinters, it landed roughly, skidding across the barren earth before finally coming to a halt.

Nova had managed to save it.

Nova crashed onto the ground with tremendous force, creating a massive crater beneath him. Yet, thanks to his powerful physique, he emerged without a single injury.

The moment he regained his footing, he looked ahead.

What he saw filled him with terror. They had been thrown directly onto the battlefield.

On one side stretched an endless horde of demonic beasts, their eyes glowing with an unnatural crimson light as though they were under someone’s control.

Among them stood countless crimson-skinned humanoids with sharp horns and fangs protruding from their heads and mouts.

Liya spoke in a grave voice.

{They are demons... to be precise, Lower-Rank Demons.}

Nova quickly scanned the battlefield.

The weakest combatants were around Level 400 , while the strongest had already reached the peak of the Grandmaster Realm. In fact, the majority of the warriors fighting here were Grandmasters.

On the opposite side stood the human army.

Although they were greatly outnumbered, Nova recognized them immediately.

One force wore pristine white uniforms adorned with golden borders and the emblem of the rising sun and moon—the elite army of the Twilight Order.

Beside them stood soldiers clad in gleaming silver armor bearing the royal crest. They were the Royal Guards.

Their strength ranged from Level 500 all the way to the peak of the Grandmaster Realm. The two armies clashed without mercy.

The battlefield had become a living nightmare.

Heads rolled across the blood-soaked earth. Bodies were torn apart as blades sliced through flesh. Guts spilled onto the ground while demons pounced upon the corpses, devouring them alive before being cut down by the human soldiers moments later.

The demonic beasts rampaged through the battlefield like unstoppable monsters, crushing soldiers beneath their massive claws, tearing warriors apart with razor-sharp fangs, and trampling entire formations into the bloodstained earth.

Every second, countless lives were lost as screams of agony echoed across the battlefield, turning it into a scene straight out of hell.

But the battlefield below was only the beginning. The true horror lay above.

Nova slowly raised his head toward the darkened sky. Dozens of figures floated high in the air.

His heart skipped a beat. Only those who had surpassed the Grandmaster Realm could stand in the sky without relying on external means.

Above the battlefield, countless figures dressed in black robes with crimson symbols stood in perfect formation. Each robe bore a blood-red number, instantly allowing Nova to recognize them.

They were members of the Blood Moon Cult and all of them were in king Realm.

Standing among them were several thousand king Realm demons, each radiating a terrifying aura.

Facing them were the true elites of humanity.

The king Realm experts of the Twilight Order, the Royal Guards, and several thousand Holy Knights stood united against them, their overwhelming auras shaking the very sky.

At the forefront of both armies stood ten figures.

Five represented humanity.

Five represented the demons.

Even from hundreds of meters away, their mere presence made the surrounding space feel heavy.

Earlier, Nova had tried using his All Appraisal Eyes on the King Realm experts. From what he could tell, he was confident he could fight and even defeat those at the lower levels of the King Realm since their stats matched his.

However, the moment he attempted to appraise anyone above Level 2,000...

Every one of his Appraisal Eyes failed.

Liya spoke calmly.

{You’ll need to upgrade your Appraisal Eyes to S-Rank. Only then will you be able to inspect beings at that level.}

Nova’s expression grew solemn.

If he couldn’t even perceive warriors above Level 2,000, then the strength of those ten figures was beyond his imagination.

The terrifying pressure emanating from them alone was enough to crush him—and everyone beside him—as effortlessly as crushing a tomato.

Fortunately, they were deliberately suppressing their auras to avoid harming their own forces. Otherwise, both armies below would have been wiped out by the pressure alone.

Nova muttered under his breath, his voice filled with bitterness.

"Was I some kind of the most evil person in dozens of my previous lives? Is that why fate keeps fucking with me? For fuck’s sake... my title is Fate Changer. Does it even have any value now when I’m stuck in this fucked-up situation?"

He slammed his fist into the ground.

"Fuck! Fuck! FUCK!"

Liya’s calm voice echoed in his mind.

{Calm down. If you lose your composure, the gamble you’re about to make will fail. This is the moment you need to stay the calmest.}

Nova took several deep breaths, forcing himself to suppress the panic threatening to consume him.

He walked toward the carriage and looked at his wives.

"Listen to me, my loves..." he said softly. "By now, you’ve probably realized what kind of situation we’re in. No matter what happens... do not come out of the carriage."

He glanced around before continuing.

"I’m barely able to shield the carriage from the pressure with my Chaotic and Demonic Aura. I have only one last gamble left... and I’m going to take it."

Nova then turned toward Bai Chen.

By now, Bai Chen had already put on the mask Nova had given him. His fists were tightly clenched, and his entire body trembled as he gritted his teeth, struggling against the overwhelming pressure.

Nova stepped forward and silently placed an item into Bai Chen’s hand.

Bai Chen lowered his head, staring at it for a moment before looking back at Nova. His eyes were filled with sadness.

"Junior Brother..." he muttered in a trembling voice.

Nova simply shook his head.

There was nothing left to say.

He had already explained everything to Bai Chen earlier.

Inside the carriage, Rieka and Asia were barely holding on. Although Nova’s Chaotic and Demonic Aura protected them from the worst of the Emperor’s pressure, neither of them was in any condition to fight.

All they could do.....was pray that their husband’s final gamble would succeed. But if they knew what he was about to do, they would never let him—even if it meant dying together.
