My Stubborn Soul Card Follower

Alice’s duel video quickly spread across the internet.

Xu Tianzhi once again miserably became a background character.

However, he soon adjusted his mindset.

Being able to enter the public eye as a background character, although frustrating, at least he managed to ride the wave of Alice’s fame once more.

Is losing to Alice embarrassing?

What’s your card swiping efficiency compared to hers?

After changing his mindset, Xu Tianzhi managed to eat up quite a bit of traffic.

What’s wrong with losing the duel and losing face?

No matter how embarrassing, his situation is still much better than those unknown peers.

The most important thing is, he can actually sustain this traffic because he does have competition results.

With Alice’s popularity online, the stronger Xu Tianzhi’s stepping stone is, the more amazing Alice appears.

With Xu Tianzhi as a background character soaking up a huge wave of traffic, it’s only natural Alice achieved even greater fame.

Her reputation started to spread, and even those who seldom pay attention to Life Card duels began to notice Alice.

As her fame grew, more fame-hungry entities started coming along.

Soon, people began to trace Alice’s path within the Soul Card World through Shen Sui’s Life Card used during the duel.

Starting from Shen Sui’s participation in Tianyi Academy’s Life Card Duel exam, they dug through all the duel videos related to Shen Sui available online.

Then, they took screenshots of Shen Sui’s Life Card, starting to search for the relevant Soul Card World information through the imagery on the cards.

Soon, Alice’s series of growth and experiences from being a magic apprentice began to spread online with embellishments from these people.

Where there’s contact, traces are left.

Before long, a post suddenly appeared online.

[Shocking! Alice is actually a mythical Savior!]

With more people digging into Alice, more Soul Card Worlds were involved, including those from the Spiritual World.

Actually, the legend that Alice is the savior of the Spiritual World had already been circulating in their small circle.

Because, Alice’s golden hair is iconic.

And the mythical Savior who liberated the Holy Stele, freeing Spiritual Creatures from their eternal prison, although only showing a silhouette in most card images, that flash of golden hair remains deeply etched in the hearts of countless Life Card Masters from the Spiritual World.

This uncovering operation was soon magnified.

Later on, as long as a golden-haired girl’s silhouette appeared on someone’s Life Card, they would post the card online for netizens to identify.

Initially, Shen Sui watched these netizens’ discussions with a playful attitude.

I have to say, their deductions based on card imagery about Alice’s general behavior track have some degree of accuracy.

But as things blew out of proportion, Shen Sui found it a bit absurd.

Not everything can be attributed to Alice, right?

With a critical mindset, Shen Sui clicked on those posts.

Then, he saw:

Alice drawing water but failing to catch fish.

Alice gobbling down food in a restaurant being robbed by bandits.

Alice sitting on a noble throne, legs crossed, looking down at nobles kneeling before her.

Alice blowing up trains with a group of villains.

Alice leading a group of Loli Dragon Princesses charging at an evil Dragon Beast.

...

Although only the silhouette was shown on Spell Cards or Event Cards, Shen Sui instantly recognized all as Alice.

Damn!

I originally intended to criticize, but why does every glance show Alice?

Shen Sui even wondered, did I miss something? When did Alice do all these things?

With a hint of curiosity, he browsed through these Life Card Masters’ posts.

Hmm... it’s really not his fault.

When the Dueling Device jumps out with information, it will simplify Alice’s behaviors based on the situation.

After all, with Alice’s antics, if every action were described in detail, the amount of text would be astronomical.

Those experiences without card outcomes were automatically simplified by the Dueling Device.

However, Shen Sui’s side simplification doesn’t mean it was simplified in other Life Card Masters’ hands.

For instance, "Alice clashed with local nobles and single-handedly wiped them out" or "Alice was robbed by bandits and then obliterated them," were seen as lacking card-spawning value by the Dueling Device in later stages.

On Shen Sui’s Dueling Device, these plots were summarized in one sentence, even omitted later, replaced by a simple "Alice was on her way."

But in those witnesses’ eyes, these small plot’s text quantity could be different, even appearing as large chunks of text with specific plot description.

In this process, many Life Cards were spawned.

And Alice’s imagery was retained on these Life Card Masters’ card faces.

Of course, the most iconic is the segment where Alice invades the barren wilderness with Loli Dragon Princesses in the Dragon Princess world.

Even though it was described on Shen Sui’s Dueling Device, it didn’t detail every Dragon Beast’s battle.
