"We newcomers need to unite. As you’ve seen, those old-timers don’t care about whether we live or die. Surviving for seven days here is no easy task; we must band together." A newcomer immediately said.

Xue Dili turned his head and looked over. It was a middle-aged man dressed very formally, wearing a top hat, looking much like a noble or someone with a certain social status.

"My name is Fu Sheng, a baron of the Empire of Charles." He first introduced himself. "If you can get to the capital Empire’s Rose Street, you can find my bank there."

"Empire of Charles, where is that?" another girl asked.

"Empire of Charles, the largest empire in the world, don’t you know?" The baron instantly showed a shocked expression; however, the girl just shook her head.

"It seems we are not from the same world. I also don’t know anything about the Empire of Charles." Another person spoke up, who then removed her hood, revealing features entirely different from the others.

Pointed ears, an oval face, and pure green hair.

"Rhythm, that’s my name, just a Half-Elf." She casually said.

"Wow, Brother Li, Brother Li, there’s someone here with the same name as you." Susu immediately started chattering in his mind.

Xue Dili rolled his eyes at her, thinking there are plenty of people named "XX Li" across the Cosmos; it’s not like his name is unique. Moreover, her name might be a matter of translation, perhaps phonetically translated to "Rithm" or something.

Xue Dili had seen plenty of translation jokes, like the daughter of a certain Divine King who, in calling him Xediles, would quickly say "Yes."

"My name is Mia, a student of the Royal Academy of the Star Empire..." the girl from earlier also shared.

So by now, Xue Dili knew the identities of the four newcomers: a baron, a noble young lady, a scrappy Half-Elf, and then himself, the unsuspecting Thirteenth Apostle amidst the flock.

Oh, and a fragment of the strongest being in the Cosmos, Mimic Venerable King.

The noble pondered for a moment and then said, "Indeed, I haven’t heard of the Star Empire either. We truly are not from the same world. What force could instantly connect us all?"

"Let’s save such profound questions for later; isn’t there one last person yet to introduce himself?" The Half-Elf’s gaze sizing up Xue Dili, as if trying to see through him.

Or perhaps, targeting him.

Xue Dili wasn’t sure what was happening; he already had enough debuffs, given to him by Aleye. Also, a strange "Elf’s Love," causing him to always have a base good impression of 60 with anyone he met.

Oh right, when did I get that strange Elf’s Love?

Xue Dili seemed to have forgotten, but it didn’t feel important, so he didn’t pay much mind.

It seemed the stronger he became, the more forgetful he was of insignificant things.

"Xediles, a priest." Xue Dili said directly, though not a single true word came out.

In an instant, the other three turned their gaze on him, some shocked, some incredulous, and some suspicious.

"A legitimate priest, certified by the Church Court, and I can perform at least three kinds of Divine Art." Xue Dili’s flattery continued, though he wasn’t lying. He was a "priest" in the truest sense, even acknowledged by the Pope.

However, this Pope was Alola, the granddaughter of an ancient Undead, and that Church Court was from another world altogether.

Since when has Brother Xue deceived you?

After speaking, he showed the most basic Holy Light Technique, a version that could only emit light, instantly exciting the others present.

"Let’s head to the Resentful Spirit Island. Maybe you can tell me about your worlds; it seems in your worlds, magic is extremely rare?" Xue Dili began probing.

He thought these people must be from planets controlled by the Seventh Apostle, as evidenced by the coordinates found on the dissected corpse his mother fished out earlier, which contained multiple world coordinates.

Now they understood that among them were the coordinates of the Death Cruise, their home planet, and the worlds they experienced in their quests.

And, after cross-referencing information, they realized they were not in the same world’s realm, which couldn’t be faked.

Since the Mimic Venerable King had already begun acting against the Seventh Apostle, Xue Dili decided to earnestly follow the story’s plot and learn more about the situation.

He was still accustomed to employing intelligence warfare tactics from the past.

"Yes, yes, in my world, mages seem to be a very noble profession. Even in the entire Royal Academy, only the principal is a beginner spellcaster." The girl named Mia immediately said, her face flushed.

"Indeed, in my world spellcasters are mythical figures. However, we can still find some spellcaster writings and peculiar tools left by them. I have a few items here." The middle-aged noble also spoke, even giving a bow.

Initially, he viewed Xue Dili as a child, but after Xue Dili merely demonstrated the Holy Light Technique, he became entirely respectful.

Xue Dili glanced at the Half-Elf, who simply turned her head and softly said, "Elf Race spellcasters are also rare, but Hunters are many."

This was very important information, so Xue Dili promptly asked the Mimic Venerable King, "Have you tracked their home star? And why are their worlds all low-magic worlds?"

"You got it wrong; they’re not from the real universe, but from beings born in Subspace. They treat Subspace, which has only one continent, as the whole world." The Mimic Venerable King answered, "Additionally, this information is valuable. From what I’ve seen, their home star’s Subspace has extremely scarce magic power, purposely depleted."

"Full Domain Forbidden Magic?" Xue Dili uttered the term, Earth Consciousness had done precisely that—Full Domain Forbidden Magic. Unless humans could physically fly to other planets apart from the Moon, they wouldn’t find even a trace of magic power.

But at least, it’s not possible for now.

"No, your hometown’s Full Domain Forbidden Magic is probably due to an excessive concentration of Venerable King Spirit, which spawned many nuisances that even world consciousness find irksome, so your world consciousness decisively implemented forbidden magic, known as the fall of the Divine Era in your world."

"But they’re different. Their world has been artificially drained of magic power. I looked; if they weren’t maintaining that portion of Subspace’s stability, it might have been completely depleted. Only apostles can wield such might."

The Mimic Venerable King stated.

"Looks like our previous hypothesis wasn’t wrong. The Seventh Apostle has started to become desperate, not just extracting magic power from other Subspaces or planets for temporary relief but even imposing harsh living conditions on these inhabitants." Xue Dili remarked, "With that in mind, I can’t just be a babysitter here; at the very least, I need to provide some fear for him, or else he might soon take notice of me."

"That’s okay, we’ll just ambush him."

"I think the more likely outcome is that he’ll run the moment he sees me. The entire Mist Council is currently in a state of panic because I was too ruthless before, eliminating several Apostles." Xue Dili also criticized his own actions.

But if he caught other Apostles red-handed again, Xue Dili would not hesitate to act.

While Xue Dili was exchanging information with the Mimic Venerable King, the Half-Elf showed a dissatisfied expression, directly saying, "What are you waiting for? We saw a village up ahead, it must be related to this mission. We think surviving in the wild is inferior to checking out that village."

Xue Dili: "..."

Your idea would be the first to get you killed in a horror movie.

Oh right, they were already in a horror movie setting.

And perhaps, do you have a bit of an issue with me?

Xue Dili rarely pulled out a strange item, his mother’s "Love System"!

This thing had almost been forgotten and was now cluttered with all sorts of tasks, with Xue Dili quickly noticing tasks like "take the last step with Susu in the dormitory" — pure madness.

He ignored these oddities, solely using the tool for the favorability ratings it provided.

He looked at Mia, the noble young lady from the Royal Academy, and saw her favorability toward him was at 68.

Normal favorability, largely due to the multitude of debuffs on himself.

Then he checked the old noble, favorability at 61, also normal.

Once more, he glanced at the Half-Elf, favorability at 87...

Xue Dili: "..."
