Chapter 83: My Second Yandere Wife

The moment both armaments appeared, the world around them changed.

Seraphina’s flames erupted skyward, a pillar of golden fire that pierced the clouds. The sky above her turned bright orange and red, as if the sun itself had descended. The ground beneath her feet melted into molten glass. Trees within a hundred meters burst into flames, reduced to ash in seconds. The heat was suffocating, oppressive.

Lilith’s shadows expanded outward, a wave of darkness that swallowed the light. The sky above her turned black, stars flickering in the unnatural void. The ground beneath her feet froze, covered in a layer of black ice. Trees withered and crumbled into dust. The cold was biting, consuming.

Lucien was alarmed by the aura as he woke up from his thoughts.

He knew that if he allowed them to continue, devastation would occur. Their obsession would run wild. What could he do?

Something then popped into his mind. Since he was the spark of this obsession, this should work.

"SERAPHINA!"

"LILITH!"

He roared out their names, alarming them. They paused, turning their gaze toward his location.

They saw him writhing in pain. Their figures immediately disappeared, appearing beside Lucien. They were immediately troubled.

Seraphina reached out, grabbing his right hand, trying to pull him into her embrace.

Lilith grabbed his left hand, pulling him toward herself.

They both dragged him with immense force, almost tearing him in two. When they saw the other holding one of his hands, their gazes sparked with intense possessiveness.

"He’s mine." They both claimed at the same time.

Lucien gritted his teeth, pain shooting through his shoulders. He roared out in anger, "You guys are going to tear me in two!"

Lucien’s roar echoed through the desolate land. His shoulders burned. His arms felt like they were being pulled from their sockets. The two women who claimed to love him were about to tear him apart.

Seraphina and Lilith both froze. Their eyes flickered down to Lucien’s pained expression. Their grip loosened slightly, but neither let go.

"He’s mine," Seraphina repeated, her voice low and possessive. Her golden eyes burned with fury. "I found him first. In this life. He’s my husband."

Lilith’s smile returned, sharp and cold. "You may have found him first in this life, but I loved him first. In our past life. I was there before you, sister. I loved him before you."

Seraphina’s flames flickered. "That was then. This is now."

Lilith’s shadows coiled tighter. "Time doesn’t matter to me. I’ve waited centuries. I can wait centuries more. As long as I have him in the end."

Lucien gritted his teeth. His voice was strained. "Can you two... stop fighting... for one second?"

They both looked at him. Their expressions softened. But their hands remained locked on his arms.

"I’m not going anywhere," Lucien said, his voice shaky but firm. "I’m right here. Both of you... you’re hurting me."

Seraphina’s eyes widened. She released his arm immediately, stepping back. Her flames dimmed. Guilt flickered across her face.

Lilith hesitated. Then she let go, her shadows receding. Her smile faded, replaced by something softer. Concern.

"Darling, I didn’t mean to—" Seraphina started.

"I wasn’t trying to hurt you," Lilith said, her voice small.

Lucien rubbed his shoulders, wincing. He looked at both of them. His eyes were tired. His body ached. But he stood his ground.

"I know you both love me," he said quietly. "I know you both want me. But if you keep fighting like this, you’ll destroy everything. Including me."

The two women exchanged a glance. Their rivalry was still there, burning beneath the surface. But for now, they listened.

Seeing that they listened, he let out a long breath. Whoever thinks having Yandere wives is sweet should know that before taming them, it’s far more bitter and frustrating than lemon.

He glanced at both of them. Even though this wasn’t as exciting as it seemed, he said, "I’m not going to choose between you. Even circumstances can’t make me choose between you. You’re both from my past life. You’re both... important to me."

His flowery words made their hearts leap in delight. Was Lucien finally accepting them? Was their wish coming true?

But there was only one problem. It should be only them. They glanced at the other, if only the other didn’t exist, they would be the only one for him.

His gaze hardened. His voice dropped, cold and commanding. "But don’t mistake my words for weakness. I’m done running. I’m done hiding. If you want me, then prove you deserve me. But know this, I won’t be a trophy for anyone’s obsession. You want a place in my life? Then earn it. Both of you."

His domineering and commanding words shook their hearts for a moment. The fire in their eyes dimmed, replaced by something else, respect, perhaps, or the realization that the man they were fighting over was not a prize to be won, but a force to be reckoned with.

Lucien was deep in thought. With the appearance of Lilith and her obsessive behavior, his thoughts and suspicions had been completely confirmed. He looked at these two women, who were giving him endless headaches. Who would have expected that there are five more?

What kind of game is fate playing on me?

He had escaped in his past life, only to walk into another trap. And this one was well-secured, with no way out except to fight the trap master himself.

Ding!

[Would Host like to accept Lilith Veyn as your Wife?]

[Y/N]

Lucien took another glance at them. They had calmed down, but the rivalry was still there, hidden beneath their composed faces, simmering like embers waiting to catch fire again.

He glanced back at the system’s message.

Well, it doesn’t look like things could possibly get any worse, he thought bitterly.

He clicked Yes.

Ding!

[Obsessive intent registered. Obsessive Link activated.]

[Host has established an obsession link with Lilith Veyn. Wishing you a happy married life.]

Lucien stared at the notification. His expression was blank.

Happy married life? He almost laughed. With two Yanderes fighting over me?

He looked at Seraphina and Lilith. They were both staring at him now, their eyes burning with possessiveness and adoration. He had accepted both of them. He had already crossed a line that couldn’t be undone.
