Igor and Kadi both felt puzzled, and they tried discussing for a while, but couldn’t come to any conclusions.

It seems that this time, they can’t enjoy it as much as usual. At least they can’t unleash all their moves one hundred percent.

Because they have to capture these Soul Devourers.

Catching them alive while hunting is a very particular task. Now it’s the same for Igor and the others.

Kadi gave him maximum cover, actually, there was no need to cover Igor. With the Soul Devourers exposed, Kadi alone could handle them. He did this just to buy time for Igor to weave this Lightning Net. After all, if he didn’t suppress these Soul Devourers, they would attack them instead.

It was clear to everyone that these Soul Devourers were not fools. They always hid deeply, waiting for the chance. Igor originally thought these guys were playing a war of attrition, but he only now realized they were entirely waiting for an opportunity.

The most important thing for a hider is patience. How to put it, these Soul Devourers are rather peculiar; they can endure significant damage in the open and stay hidden motionless, but oddly, the annoyance of mosquitoes can throw them into confusion. It’s simply an incredible thing.

However strange, Igor was not careless at all; he had put great effort into crafting the Lightning Net.

He was now very skilled at controlling Thunder, with much help from the Sword Spirit. His tacit understanding with the Meteor had also reached a new height.

With every battle, he and Kadi improved to varying degrees. It seemed they were scholars mastering all theories, just waiting for practice to unleash their dreams.

Kadi and Igor were both carefully awaiting an opportunity, with Kadi skillfully driving these two or three Soul Devourers in one direction.

With these Soul Devourers gathered in one place, Igor could unleash the fully powered Thunder Net and capture them all!

Initially, they had only seen two Soul Devourers and thought these two were all, but as the pressure continued, they realized things weren’t as they thought. There was another Soul Devourer within this one Soul Devourer. In other words, one Soul Devourer split into two...

Igor and Kadi were unfazed; they continued with their plan methodically.

Capture these Soul Devourers alive!

Kadi had already used his strength to herd all the Soul Devourers together.

"Now, Igor!" Kadi hurriedly reminded Igor.

Igor remained unflustered and released the Thunder Lightning Net.

Lightning Thunder descended from the sky, striking directly at these Soul Devourers.

The Soul Devourers had been fending off Kadi’s Butterfly Dual Blades, and upon hearing Kadi’s loud shout, they knew things were turning bad. Yet, before they could react, the whole sky lit up with golden light.

That was the color of Thunder, and its speed wasn’t something they could dodge. The net firmly ensnared the Soul Devourers.

Obviously, no one knew how Igor managed it; the speed was astounding. When everyone had adapted to the dazzling light of the Lightning, the Soul Devourers had already been captured.

Igor’s net-closing move was remarkably stylish, so much so that everyone stared at him, mouths agape.

Now covered in Lightning, the Soul Devourers didn’t dare move drastically.

Because if they moved drastically, they would risk scattering.

Igor controlled the Lightning Net, his whole body in a state of tension.

Controlling Thunder wasn’t an easy task, reaching such a level meant Igor had gone through a lot of honing.

The Soul Devourers finally felt utter despair this time, this feeling of being controlled was indeed uncomfortable.

Kadi then ran in front of the Soul Devourers, looking left and right.

"You were right, Igor; these guys are so ugly, not just ugly but also sloppy."

Igor was busy controlling the net, not paying much attention to what Kadi was saying.

Igor and Kadi hadn’t anticipated the hotel’s occupants would be so decisive.

"Why are all of you coming out? The danger hasn’t been completely eliminated yet," Kadi said in surprise.

"We’re not exactly cowards; this is our city, and we want to do our part!"

Lord Popovich’s words instantly silenced Kadi; the reasoning was sound, and Kadi had no way to refute it.

Confined by the Lightning Net, the Soul Devourers looked at each other, but after a while, their mouths curled up slightly.

"These guys are tight-lipped!" Igor said angrily. "Do you have any way to make them talk?"

"That’s what we’re here to do!" Est took over Igor’s words.

"Exactly, after invading Bistal like this, they owe us an explanation!"

An interrogation was about to begin; how would these Soul Devourers face these determined individuals?

Regardless, everyone was very much looking forward to it. Facing an unfamiliar force, a nearby unknown power, Bistal would not let them go easily. This is the backup of the entire Empire, and they must get a conclusion from the mouths of these Soul Devourers.

No matter what this conclusion may be, the entire city has now entered a state of alert!
