Although all of Bistal’s members were confident, believing they could pry open the mouths of these Soul Devourers,

the reality was not as simple as they imagined.

The Soul Devourers, with raised corners of their mouths, didn’t think much and began to struggle desperately.

This struggle made Igor a bit out of control. After all, it wasn’t so easy to completely control these Soul Devourers. The power of thunder, under Igor’s control, needed to adjust with the resistance of these Soul Devourers; it couldn’t be too strong, or it would make the resisting Soul Devourers collapse, nor too loose, or the power of thunder would allow Igor and his team to break free.

Igor had to manage the strength precisely, but he wasn’t yet proficient at such a delicate level. After all, Igor wasn’t strong enough to handle power at ease; he needed space and time.

But now, the resistance of these Soul Devourers caught him off guard. More importantly, their resistance was intense.

Igor felt that these Soul Devourers were resisting the lightning with all their might, unlike ordinary Soul Devourers, who were somewhat afraid of disintegration. But this time, these few seemed unafraid of being disintegrated.

"I’m losing control!" Igor gritted his teeth.

Kadi hurriedly released his energy to assist Igor, but this time Kadi didn’t expect that these Soul Devourers stopped dodging his attacks.

This made Kadi quickly withdraw his strength, because if he struck with full force, these Soul Devourers would suffer severe injuries. Now their goal was not to critically injure them, but to extract some clues.

But these Soul Devourers had completely changed; it seemed like they were a different group from before, feeling entirely different.

These changes happened instantly, as if something was controlling these Soul Devourers, making them reckless.

"Have they gone mad?" Kadi was puzzled by the phenomenon before him. These Soul Devourers seemed to have a death-defying aura.

"Looks like our plan is about to fail!" Igor was struggling to control the lightning net, but it was to no avail. The resistance from the Soul Devourers was too fierce, as if they had completely given up on living in this world.

Splutter—a Soul Devourer’s resistance had already broken through the entire lightning net, and the one that broke out disintegrated, releasing the spirit power memories that had been devoured, continuously pouring out from its shell. These oppressors were completely released, finding peace as the Soul Devourer fell.

"This!" Est and the others hadn’t anticipated this, and more importantly, they had no way to handle it. Now they could only stand there dumbfounded, watching helplessly because of their lack of understanding of the Soul Devourers; they couldn’t assist Igor and his team in any way.

"They’re committing suicide!" Kadi said.

"Yes, I can’t stop it temporarily. It seems they’ve been greatly stimulated!"

As they spoke, the three Soul Devourers had all disintegrated amid their struggles.

None of Igor’s team noticed the raised corners of the Soul Devourers’ mouths before they disintegrated, this determination escaped their attention.

Obviously, these Soul Devourers chose to disintegrate on their own, a critical decision clearly made by these creatures.

In truth, Igor had a bit of admiration for such Soul Devourers.

From beginning to end, these Soul Devourers left not a single word behind, collectively choosing to disintegrate after their mission failed.

Watching the dissipating consciousness of the servant Soul Devourers, Igor couldn’t help but sigh: "Alas, there’s no way now, you all can’t obtain any effective information!"

"It’s extremely vexing!" Kadi stomped his foot in frustration.

Popovich and the others didn’t care; they slowly approached the remains of a Soul Devourer.

"It’s not entirely a loss; we can still glean something from their remnants!" Popovich smiled at Kadi and the others.

Kadi and Igor were naturally curious about how Popovich would extract something when these Soul Devourers could no longer speak.

Popovich looked at Igor and Kadi’s astonished faces and chuckled, "I’m a Scholar; scholars have methods of deduction and calculation. The symbols invisible to you can be recombined here to form something new."

"Our Lord Popovich is a Scholar and a true heir of the Popovich family. His deduction abilities can be wielded to the fullest," Bruto explained for Popovich.

Igor and Kadi eagerly awaited the answers that Lord Popovich would uncover.

They watched as Lord Popovich carefully observed the three remains; after a while, he closed his eyes, and a series of green glows emanated from him. It was the spirit power fluctuating, the energy at work. Igor could now clearly see these things; previously, he could only see a hub, but now he could see it entirely and clearly.

Not long after, Lord Popovich opened his eyes. Clearly, the details he observed had been rapidly calculated in his mind, and he now had considerable findings, equivalent to interrogating some things from these remnants.

"Send secret messages to every City Administrative Office, seeking information regarding the Death God Organization!" Lord Popovich turned to Est and said.

"Yes!" Est took the order and then turned to instruct his subordinates.

Igor and Kadi were dumbfounded; in this short period, all departments of Bistal had begun operating.

"This..." Kadi couldn’t believe it.

"All I could deduce from these guys is this; nothing else, just as you said, these guys are too abhorrent!" Popovich said to Igor and Kadi.

For Igor and Kadi, this was already quite a lot.

Being able to determine that the organization behind these Soul Devourers was the Death God Organization from these remnants was simply remarkable.

Just after the Circus ended, another Death God appeared.

In recent years, emerging organizations had become as numerous as cattle.

But whether these organizations had any substantial connection with the Alchemy Workshop, no one could say clearly.

"Death God, this organization—I think I’ve heard of it somewhere!" Coban Kangen said from the side.

"Hmm?" Igor and Kadi turned to look at this vice-captain; their ability to easily decode the tracks of these Soul Devourers relied on this vice-captain.

"Are you sure?" Everyone looked at Coban Kangen, which made him a bit embarrassed.

"I have some impression; I need to sort it out." Kangen quickly searched through his memory, as everyone was looking at him now.

Death God, this organization’s name he had indeed heard before, but it wasn’t in Bistal; he seemed to have heard this term in his family, but that was a long time ago.

The reason he still had an impression now is that the name left a certain memory. As a child, he was quite fearful of the term Death God.
