Chapter 1158 - 1154: I Am a Resistor (Part 1)

The Lain Brothers were nothing but a skeleton, and a skeleton that was growing larger.

Under the effects of the Alchemy Array, the Lain Brothers were already flying in the air. The huge skeletal frame hovered in the sky, as if it were about to obscure the entire sky.

Igor did not become fearful or retreat because of this. He was merely observing, wanting to see what special attack methods these circus elites had.

Kurtu, Arras, and Smitt were diligently arranging their Alchemy Array, constantly swapping positions and drawing symbols on the ground. This was the method to drive the entire Alchemy Array. But in Igor’s eyes, such a method was obviously outdated.

During special training on Guru Mountain, Igor had exchanged with Great Mentor Guzan several times and thus had a fairly accurate understanding of the development of the Alchemy Workshop. Although Kuyi Tulan had ambitious aims, he was ultimately still a genius. His appearance simplified the process of the Alchemy Array, which Alchemists prided themselves upon.

Kuyi Tulan split the Alchemy Equation into several basic equations and then randomly combined the symbols of these basic equations, instantly forming a simple yet effective method. This greatly shortened the time Alchemists needed to write equations, allowing them to fight more freely.

Therefore, Igor was not concerned with the Lain Brothers flying in the sky, as he knew this skeleton was merely a puppet controlled by those three Alchemists, most likely the Exchange Beast. These were Darkness Type Alchemists; they had made a humanoid Exchange Beast! Igor had always despised Dark Forces and loathed them. Now, with so many people of Dark Forces before him, he could not suppress his inner fury.

Although reason triumphed over his inner devil, there was still a trace of impulse. Igor glared fiercely, and with one sword strike, he swung toward the masterminds behind the airborne fliers.

Kurtu and the others did not anticipate this.

Normally, facing a giant skeleton flying in the air, one would certainly defend against the danger from above. They originally planned to use the bones of these skeletons to launch a fierce attack on Igor, to make those bones rain down in a barrage from the sky, leaving Igor defenseless. Unfortunately, the result caught them by surprise; before they could even imbue the bones with Spirit Power for an attack, this fellow named Igor had caught them off guard.

The Sword Qi rushed forward, forcing these three guys to dodge. Consequently, the skeleton floating in the air lost its momentum. This change left Stanley utterly shocked; he couldn’t believe how easily this guy named Igor broke the Alchemy Array. If it weren’t for the giant Amoon blocking with his long arm, Igor probably would have cut down Smitt and the others.

This was truly an unbelievable thing. Could they, in their true form, find no edges against this boy?

Impossible!

"Who on earth are you?" Unable to suppress it, Stanley loudly questioned.

The airborne attack didn’t work, leaving those who returned to their original forms deeply puzzled. Dwarfs like Douglas had already retreated far behind.

"Who I am doesn’t matter!" swinging the sword in his hand, Igor had already seen through what caliber these circus people were.

Perhaps decades ago, they might have been considered top experts, all indulging in the chaos of Dark Arts, able to be wildly influential during specific periods.

But now, times are changing, and so is the entire world of adventurers with class.

This group of old relics should have been punished in another world; they should no longer emerge to wreak havoc.

"You all get him!" Stanley pointed at Douglas of the dwarf ensemble, men whose bodies were bent and gnarled, with decaying flesh visibly trembling and falling away.

"We aren’t opponents!" Douglas and his ilk straightaway admitted this with no sense of embarrassment!

"As expected, I can count on nothing from you!" Stanley sighed bitterly.

A ragtag group even if granted unexpected power remains a ragtag group. With meteor in hand, having grasped these people’s true nature, Igor brimmed with confidence!

Each step taken was weighed with importance; there was no time to waste now. He needed to quickly end the confrontation and then help Kadi deal with that Clown.

"Useless bunch, you truly are a heap of garbage!" Stanley felt a bit angry; as one of the top five warriors of the Circus organization, he wouldn’t surrender so easily. Although feeling a bit tense while watching Igor step by step approach, this tension was just an instinctive response. It had been a long time since he last fought, barely remembering the thrill fighting had once brought him.

"Since none of you can control yourselves anymore, hand over your bodies to me!" Stanley exuded a rotten stench, which quickly enveloped everyone around.

Stanley was a bit surprised; he initially thought this would be a crushing victory, but now realized it might be evenly matched. He would have to display his true strength; transformed into their original forms, failing to win now would mean nothing good awaited him upon his return!

Whether it was the airborne performers or the dwarf band, including those apprentices, they all changed appearances at this moment, their eyes glowing green as if entirely controlled!

After all, he was just a Hunter, confusing others with scents and controlling various animals; ultimately relying on the power of toxins.

Igor slowly analyzed Stanley and gradually watched everyone becoming controlled by him...

Stanley extended his rotting, almost falling-apart finger, and in an instant, all controlled individuals halted any action!

"Beast Rush, attack!" Stanley shouted, waving his hand toward Igor.

In an instant, all those controlled by Stanley, both human and beast, charged straight at Igor...

Igor held his sword with both hands and faced the charging squad head-on!

Boom!

The clash between Sword Qi and the attacking squad erupted with a roar. Stanley completely disregarded the lives of these individuals, intending to use such a group attack to stall Igor. What he did not expect was that Igor’s strength was beyond ordinary comprehension. This fellow seemed to have mastered too many techniques, making it hard to clearly define his role.

He was a Fighter, possessing impressive physique technique and able to duel with giant Amoon for a long time without losing ground, an Alchemist capable of seeing through weak points in Alchemy Equations at a glance, a Hunter, making stealthy appearances before his eyes, and seemingly a Wizard, able to instantly unleash thunderous power...
