Chapter 439: The Three Monsters’ Location [2]
[The Lord of Souls is located inside of the "Tower of Souls" inside Higher Domain #1, he is at the very edge of the domain in an area impossible to access without a powerful-enough soul, as there are constant attacks that will chip away at your soul until shattering it, you will find it no matter what as long as you move deep enough, all roads lead to it.]
[The Heretic King is in Higher Domain #2 at the very furthest island from the spawn area, ask for the "Heretic Village" until you find it, and then ask its inhabitants a way to the Heretic King.]
[The Abyss Wyvern resides at the bottom of the "Abyss Canyon" in Higher Domain #7 after it was sealed away by the "God of the Abyss", ask for it and head to the bottom to find it.]
"Higher Domain #1, Higher Domain #2 and Higher Domain #7," Leon mumbled, his eyes scanning the information, "All of them were within the ten first higher domains, that’s manageable."
But still, at least Leon knew where every single one of these monsters was, and how to get to them without wasting time searching aimlessly.
If not for the Divine Answer’s explanation, Leon might actually have died while trying to reach the Tower of Souls, his soul shattered by the constant attacks.
’Need to strengthen my soul before attempting that,’ he noted, adding it to his mental checklist.
Beside that, each boss that Leon was supposed to defeat truly seemed like it was the ultimate challenge of its respective domain, the pinnacle of difficulty.
This was even more reason to grow even stronger to him, and the Level 6 Monster Tide with the thousands of monster it would summon would be the perfect opportunity to gain experience and items.
But even before then, Leon needed to grow and prepare himself for what was coming.
After doing all of that, Leon checked his [World Map] for Violet’s location and teleported there without hesitation.
The girls were currently in a restaurant inside the stronghold, enjoying a meal together.
The three of them were shocked as they saw Leon appear out of nowhere while they were eating, their eyes widening in surprise.
"Leon!" Emilia beamed, waving him over, "Sit down and eat with us!"
"Can’t," Leon shook his head with a smile, "Just want to give you this."
He dropped two S-Rank [Supreme Ice Affinity] sub-talents and an A-Rank [Deep Ice Affinity] on the table, their surfaces gleaming, "Share these, I’m sure it will greatly help Violet and Emilia grow stronger."
Then just as quickly as he arrived, Leon teleported out of the restaurant outside the stronghold, disappearing in a flash of light.
"What the hell was that?" Violet mumbled as she grabbed the sub-talent scroll, her eyes widening as she read its description, "Oh shit!"
With that, her frost rapier’s power would grow even stronger, especially with the Blood Heart Blessing already enhancing its abilities!
But as for Leon himself, he had a lot more to do during these two weeks before the Monster Tide arrived.
...
Leon spent three days going through some other dungeons he found after completing the Frostbite Cavern two more times for each difficulty.
This allowed him to acquire even more items to sell, monster essences to consume, as well as many skill stones that would prove invaluable in the coming battles.
Each dungeon he conquered added to his growing collection of resources, the skill stones piling up in his storage space as he methodically cleared every monster in his path, his blade and spells carving through them with practiced efficiency.
After accumulating a substantial amount, he finally decided it was time to evolve his skills further, pushing them to their maximum potential.
He crushed 325 Skill Stones, the energy flowing into him as he selected the skill he wanted to upgrade.
[Which skill do you wish to upgrade?]
"Eclipse Dance," Leon said, his voice steady.
Ding!
[You have evolved your "Eclipse Dance (Ascendant Lv.7)" skill into "Eclipse Dance (Ascendant Lv.10)"]
The panel around the spell began to shift and reform, the interface glowing brightly as the skill reached its maximum potential.
[Your "Eclipse Dance (Ascendant)" skill has reached its maximum level and has grown much stronger.]
Ding!
[Your "Eclipse Dance" skill has evolved into "Eclipse Annihilation"]
[Eclipse Annihilation (Max): Unleash an overwhelming barrage of eclipse slashes upon your enemies, each strike carrying the devastating power of a dying star, capable of tearing through even the strongest defenses and leaving nothing but darkness in its wake. The range and potency of the attack have been dramatically increased.]
Not stopping there, Leon then turned his attention to another skill that had served him well throughout his journey.
He crushed 210 Skill Stones, the energy surging through him once again.
[You have evolved your "Vines of Torment (Legendary Lv.7)" skill into "Vines of Torment (Legendary Lv.10)"]
[Your "Vines of Torment (Legendary)" skill has reached its maximum level and has grown much stronger.]
[Your "Vines of Torment" skill has evolved into "Vines of Desolation"]
[Vines of Desolation (Max): Summon an endless wave of deadly vines that erupt from the ground, seeking out any and all enemies in their path with relentless fury, crushing and tearing through anything that stands in their way, leaving a trail of destruction and desolation behind them.]
With his skills now significantly more powerful, Leon continued his relentless grinding through the dungeons, fighting through hordes of monsters and absorbing every essence he could find.
As for his Combat Power, Leon kept fighting through dungeons as much as he could.
He watched it 10,000,000 and go beyond, nearing 11 million with each passing day, the numbers climbing steadily as he consumed more essences and grew stronger.
He also did whatever he could to give some to the girls to help them, sharing the best equipment he found, though he kept most of the essences to himself to grow stronger as fast as possible.
And to be honest, as Leon returned to the Requiem Stronghold after each dungeon run, he noticed how the Requiem Stronghold changed.
Many players were getting better loot given by the requiem guild, as well as many structures being built to prepare for the coming tide.
Even the members of the requiem guild could be seen around the stronghold, all of them extremely busy with their own tasks and training regimens.
Seeing that, Leon’s expression remained neutral, but he knew he wasn’t strong enough to face what was coming, his power still lacking compared to the guild members.
’More,’ he thought to himself, his eyes narrowing with determination.
Then, on the fourth day of his grinding, he came across another dungeon.
Ding!
[You are about to enter the "Shadow Den"]
[Please select the difficulty:]
[Nightmare] [Abyss]
This one only had two difficulties, and some of the most difficult ones.
He had gotten the location information from a few players who advised not to go inside.
But of course, hard things meant better rewards, so Leon clicked on [Abyss] without any hesitation.
Ding!
[You have selected "Abyss" difficulty.]
[You have entered "Shadow Den (Abyss)"]
