"Where are these beings," Leon asked, his voice urgent, "I know about the [Lord of Souls] since I plan to kill him anyway but what about the [Heretic King] and [Abyss Wyvern]."

"A good hunter needs to find his prey," the hunter placed his finger in front of his mouth, a mysterious smile on his face, "Though all I’ll say is that two of them aren’t in Higher Domain #1."

"Damn..." Leon muttered, realizing the scope of the task.

But more than anything, Leon looked at the reward, his eyes fixated on the words.

’Above Divine-Rank,’ he thought, his heart racing, ’I fucking knew there was a rank after it.’

Divine was the max rank Leon had ever seen across both his lives, and seeing as though there was another one made him even more eager since the reward would be at least of that rank, something truly beyond anything you could obtain.

"Well, I heard the Requiem Stronghold needs to complete its Level 6 Monster Tide, so you’ll have to hunt for these beings after that."

"You’re not gonna help?" Leon asked, his eyes glinting with a hint of hope, "I mean, there must be some pretty powerful beings among those in that tide..."

"Too weak," the Hunter shook head, his voice dismissive, "Plus... I refuse to battle the servants of the gods, their anger can be quite terrifying."

The way he said it, as well as his expression at that moment, Leon finally understood why the Hunter didn’t proceed forward to the Eternal Domain despite his immense power.

No matter how powerful he was, he would never be able to fight against the gods, so he simply laid back, content to hunt lesser prey.

"So be it then," Leon turned around, his voice firm, "I’ll bring you those monsters’ heads."

"The last two said that too," the Hunter laughed, a hint of sadness in his voice, "I’d be impressed though, you all received the same task, yet the moment they met with even one of them... it was a different story."

"Sure," Leon replied, his confidence unwavering.

Leon opened his [World Map] and teleported outside of the [Requiem Stronghold], disappearing right in front of the Hunter in a flash of light.

Meanwhile, the man sighed as he gazed inside of his backpack, his expression troubled.

’The way you looked, it seemed like you were ready to challenge the gods, human,’ he thought, ’but you have no idea just how strong they are, you stand no chance against them.’

Fwoosh!

Leon appeared outside of the [Requiem Stronghold] in a flash of light, his expression neutral as he stared at the SSS-Rank quest panel that still hovered before his eyes, the weight of the task settling on his shoulders.

He took the time to observe the three monsters he needed to kill in much more details, studying their names and trying to recall any information he might have stored away in his memory.

’The [Heretic King], [Lord of Souls] and [Abyss Wyvern],’ he recited to himself, committing them to memory.

The only one Leon knew about was the [Lord of Souls] as he actually had the [Tower of Souls Token] from before, a relic that had been sitting in his inventory for a long time.

[Tower of Souls Token (Mythical): Allows the user to enter the "Tower of Souls", no matter what you do, do not do it.]

During his first God-Rank assessment, where he obtained the [Life Vessel] title, the souls that fueled the altar of life had told him they had all been killed by that lord of souls, their lives snuffed out by its power.

As a result, Leon had told them that he’d do whatever he could to kill him, a promise he intended to keep.

Leon didn’t have the opportunity yet as he hadn’t found the [Tower of Souls] yet, but now he knew exactly where it was.

But as for the [Heretic King] and [Abyss Wyvern], he was completely clueless as to what they were, though they sounded powerful based on their names alone.

’More than anything, I have no idea where any of these targets are located across the domains,’ he realized, frustration creeping in.

The Hunter said that a good hunter would be able to find them, but was Leon crazy enough to look through 100 higher domains for this? The answer was no, that would take years.

There was no chance anybody could complete this quest normally, at least not without cheating or having some kind of advantage.

Plus, the Hunter said that out of his previous two disciples, one died after finding just one of these beings, and the second gave up after realizing the scope of the task...

’Not good,’ Leon thought, his mind racing, ’I need to use my brain on this one or maybe...’

Leon looked at his list of his skill, and his gaze landed on the one he knew could potentially help him out of this predicament.

[Unique: Divine Answer (2/3)]

’One well-formulated question and I’ll get all three locations, much like I did with the Time Tower,’ he reasoned.

Unlike with the [Primordial Dragon of Chaos], Leon knew this was his one and only way to find all three monsters and kill them within the time he was given, so he couldn’t afford to waste this opportunity.

And so he didn’t even waste time deciding whether or not he should do it, he needed to prepare for this in addition to the Level 6 Monster Tide after all, so time was of the essence.

And so, Leon activated his second use of [Divine Answer], focusing his intent.

"Heavenly One," Leon began with a calm mind, his voice steady, "Show me a way to complete this SSS-Rank Quest flawlessly by giving me the exact locations of the Heretic King, Lord of Souls and Abyss Wyvern, including the domain where they reside, and even landmarks or ways to obtain such locations when inside the domain."

Leon finished his sentence and took a deep breath, waiting for the answer.

Silence filled the surroundings afterward. For a few seconds, absolutely nothing happened, and Leon began to worry.

But suddenly, the air around him shifted.

Ding!

An enormous golden panel slowly materialized before him, with many lines of text that glowed with divine energy.

And they revealed exactly what Leon wanted to know.
