As Ayra slowly opened her eyes after a long comfortable sleep, she was met with the system screen before her.

Ayra stared at the system, going through the details of the improvement and all as she ran her hand through her skin. She could feel the improvement, she could feel her skin smoothening even though she couldn’t remember the last time she had a decent bath! She needed to get one soon anyway.
She still felt her whole body ache and sore as she slowly looked around only to see Ash in the same room as hers.
Ash was sitting at a distance, his eyes on the cub who was placed at a little bed he had constructed. One made of wood and covered in animal skin for clothing. The little girl was awake, covered in animal skin clothing. She was looking around while making tiny noises and smiling.
Ayra ran a hand through her hair. Before she could say anything, Lord Ash, Lord Vale and Commander Lynn made their way into the wooden house.
"Oh you’re awake," Lord Vale said as they walked in to see Ash also there. Sitting and staring at the cub with his back against them. They all turned and stared at him.
Vale sighed as he folded his arms. "So there you are. We’ve been looking for you all night but you didn’t return. I guess you were here." Vale shook his head.
Slowly, Ash turned away from the cub to stare at them and shock filled their faces as they saw Ash’s face. His face looked pale and his eyes were red.
"What’s wrong with you? Are you okay?" Ayra asked.
"I am," Ash nodded as he forced a smile. "I.. I was just awake all night looking after the little one..."
"..."
Ayra blinked. "You were here since last night? You didn’t go home?"
He nodded as he turned to the little one. "And I also seldom did blink too. What if those dangerous mosquitoes get her? It can’t happen under my watch."
"..."
They didn’t know what to say but stare at each other and then stared at him again. Vale smiled as he shook his head. "Interesting."
"You should go and get some rest though," Ayra urged.
Ash shook his head. "I’m fine. I seldom sleep anyway..."
"At least close your eyes or blink...." Ayra added.
"..."
"I can’t now.. the little one hasn’t eaten yet..." He said as he turned and stared at Ayra. "I have to go and find something for it to have..."
"Oh you don’t have to..." Ayra wanted to say but Ash had already taken off. She simply shook her head with a smile as she stared at the rest.
"Here.." Ayra recalled as she pointed to the side. There were some containers at the side of her bed, ten containers. "Take these."
Ayra explained that they would cleanse off the poisonous waters and make them safe again while also improving the nature of the water. "It takes effect after some time, so no one should use the waters for like five hours or so."
They stared at the containers as Vale slowly nodded with a smile. "The female sure does find a way to impress me."
Zark stared at the containers as he said, "Don’t worry, the assistance you’ve rendered to the tribe won’t be forgotten at all. I’ll make sure I pay you back."
Ayra stared at him with a smile. "Why are you talking so formally like that? It sounds off." She shook her head.
Zark requested that Commander Lynn help and execute the water cleansing. Commander Lynn left immediately with his men outside as they made their way to the waters to begin the process based on Ayra’s instructions.
While they left, some group of people had already arrived at the entrance. The elderly beastmen had arrived to visit the female. And they were welcomed.
"We didn’t have much to give so we came with what we could," one smiled as they brought out all they had carved for them as gifts.
Ayra smiled as she took one of the carvings from the old fox. A carving that she guessed was supposed to be her. She smiled at it as the fox asked, "It looks beautiful right? Like you."
"..."
Ayra blinked as she nodded with a smile. "Ah yes.. thanks."
"I told you it looks nothing like her. The female now looks even more beautiful. She can’t look like that," another said as the two proceeded with their bickering.
Ayra smiled as she stared through the carving. "Thank you all. I appreciate."
The elders turned to the little cub which was staring at them and immediately gathered around the little one. Their eyes lit with joy and happiness as they stared at the adorable fox cub before them. "So beautiful.. so little..."
The old fox shook his head as tears ran down his eyes. "The female truly has blessed us with this in our land. We shall make sure to protect this little one by all means!"
They all nodded profusely in agreement while Ayra stared at them with a smile.
