Chapter 96: Berserk Leaders
Ayra stared at the task as she ran a hand through her hair. She slowly sat up while stretching herself out. "Already saw that coming..." she muttered.
She had already gotten enough rest. She felt energized enough to soothe some beastmen.
Ayra stared to her side, watching the little one sleep peacefully. She could already see some growth in the little one within this short while even though she was still a cub. She simply admired.
"Already growing so fast..." Ayra shook her head as she slowly sat down in bed as she stared up at the system. "And yes... I soothed the wild cat... So the reward...?"
[Host, you’ve only partially completed the task. It’s not fully completed yet!]
[Host can only claim the reward when complete!]
Ayra sighed as she shook her head. "Whatever then..." She said as she sat with the cub for a while. After she was sure the cub was doing alright, Ayra called out to the warriors outside.
To her surprise, Rai and Kan with his peers rushed in.
"What were you guys doing out there...?" She asked, surprised.
Rai smiled. "We were worried about the female!"
Kan nodded.
Rai continued. "We heard that the female stopped the wild cat all alone and saved the whole tribe. And we also heard that the female was exhausted and has been sleeping the whole day."
Kan nodded.
Rai continued. "So we came to guard the female’s house while she sleeps! And we also came to check out the female and little Ally."
Ayra smiled as she nodded. "Thanks for being considerate..." She reached out her hand and patted Rai’s wolf ears. "So, how are things going outside with the wild cat and the two injured lords?"
"Well, the wild cat is still laying low in the prison. It’s still asleep, so I don’t think anything has happened yet," Rai smiled.
"And for the lords.. I don’t know much but I think I heard their conditions are getting worse..." Rai tilted his head.
Ayra slowly nodded. "Oh..."
"But the female is so powerful and talented..." Kan expressed in pure amusement. "I can’t believe the female was able to handle Nyx all alone! And even save the tribe leaders! You’re my new master!"
Ayra smiled. "Thanks.." she said as she turned to the cubs. "Can you two... help me look after little Ally for a while? I’ll go and check out the tribe leaders."
A flash of smile brushed through the faces of the youngsters. They were extremely honored with the request as they profusely nodded.
"Yes! Sure! We’re more than happy!" One said.
"We were hoping to spend some time with Ally!" Another said. The youths were enthusiastic and happy.
Ayra smiled. "That’s good then." She handed them some instructions as they accepted it without questions.
"Don’t worry, we’ll take good care of Ally!" Rai assured as they all nodded in unison.
Ayra nodded. "I’ll be off then. Be back soon," she said as she left them.
And before she did, she had also requested the warriors standing outside on guard to help watch over the youth and cubs.
And after that, Ayra made her way down to the tribe leaders’ lair.

Ayra soon arrived at the scene. Right in front of the tribe leaders’ lair.
She was rather surprised to see a lot of beastmen there. All standing and discussing amongst themselves as if something terrible had happened.
For a while, she was worried. And as she pulled closer, the beastmen had caught sight of her. They all turned and stared at the female, almost happy to see her there.
"Oh! The female is here!"
"It’s the female... finally..."
"...yes."
Ayra was confused for a while as to what was happening. She looked ahead to see Lord Ash and Commander Lynn standing ahead as well.
"What are you doing here...?" Lord Ash approached, checking her arms and face and all. "Are you fine now? Have you gotten enough rest?"
Ayra smiled with a nod. "Don’t worry at all. I’ve already taken all the rest I need. I’m fine now," she smiled as she looked ahead at the entrance. "What’s going on here.. why’s everyone here like this?"
One of the beastmen immediately informed her. "The two lords are getting worse. They’ve grown berserk and are already losing their minds."
"Yes. And we tried offering them some food but they won’t eat. They’ve already thrown away the meals we brought a couple of times and shattered the containers."
"They sure have gone wild. And it seems they are just getting worse..."
"Yes, so female please help save our lords before it gets worse."
The beastmen all said as Lord Ash cast them all a cold glare. They all closed their mouths and looked down, avoiding his gaze.
Ayra stared at the entrance again as Lord Ash said. "You don’t have to do it now if you don’t have the energy..."
Lord Ash was certainly worried about the other lords, but he was also considering Ayra. He was worried that she might still need some rest after soothing the wild cat. So he didn’t wish to disturb her.
"Don’t worry at all," Ayra said. "I’m completely fine now. And as a matter of fact, I was here to meet the two of them."
As she announced that, the beastmen stared at each other hopefully with a smile. They were happy that the female was going to save their tribe leaders.
"Are you sure about that.. it would require a lot of energy..."
Ayra shook her head. "Yes. I’m sure. I’ll be fine.." she stretched out her hand for the beastman holding the tray of meal for the tribe leader. "Hand it to me..." She requested.
The beastman hesitated before they handed the meal to Ayra.
"What are you going to do?" Lord Ash asked.
"I’m going to feed them. At least they need some food while being wild. Don’t they?" She casually smiled as she stared at the entrance.
Lord Ash was still worried but he decided to trust her. "Are you sure about this...?"
Ayra smiled. "Don’t worry, I’ll bring them back to sanity," she assured as she turned and walked into the room alone.
And the others stood there, staring for a while before they slowly started dispersing. They’d have to wait for the outcome soon or the next day.
