The homebody witch adapted quickly to this ranch world. She found the suppression here wasn’t too significant for her, since she was already the Dragon Witch, with abilities leaning towards the Great Dragon. A little adaptation, and she was nearly accustomed.

She even found that using dragon language spellcasting here seemed to provide a certain degree of enhancement.

Moreover, she discovered that this place seemed more suitable for physical abilities, like those from the Combat Magic System or Transformation Series. It’s merited that the Great Dragons are the pinnacle of physical development among races, and even the world rules of the Dragon Realm lean toward this aspect.

Senior Mia felt similar, as they were both Dragon Witches and weren’t severely affected.

Madeline, being the Succubus Witch, which is also a physical type, wasn’t much affected either.

However, Alice, Audrey, and Sophia were significantly impacted.

Sophia, having been to this ranch world before, adapted early, but the two sisters really looked quite miserable with bitter faces.

During the rest time, Mother Dragon also informed them of today’s hunting target.

"Today, our main prey consists of two types: Chicken Snake Dragon and Rock Snake Dragon."

Euphilia snapped her fingers, using Magic Power to construct images of the two dragon beasts.

"Actually, the best choice would be True Dragon Species like Snake Dragon King or Snake Emperor Dragon, but unfortunately, these Ancient Dragons are rare in the Dragon Realm, and not common. Our ranch world doesn’t have them, or rather, doesn’t have them currently."

"However, the ranch world does have an ancient Snake Dragon King burial ground, where its posthumous power nourished quite a few Sub-Dragons or Dragon Beasts with Dragon and Serpent powers."

"Among them, the Chicken Snake Dragon and Rock Snake Dragon are the most useful for those specializing in Dazzling Eyes."

Dorothy examined the forms of these two dragon beasts constructed by Mother Dragon.

Indeed, the names of these two dragon beasts are appropriately chosen.

The Chicken Snake Dragon appears to be a chicken with a serpent tail, only that this thing appears to be tens of meters high, plus from Mother Dragon’s account, the seemingly mighty chicken form is actually the tail, whereas the true body is what seems like the tail, the serpent part.

The Chicken Snake Dragon’s serpent-eyed head possesses the ability to instill fear at a glance, which somewhat resembles the power of Dazzling Eyes.

The Rock Snake Dragon appears to be a giant snake made of stone, with a massive size but generally active underground, preferring to burrow. Its snake eyes are similar to Medusa’s Petrification Evil Eye, both capable of petrification.

Honestly, neither of these dragon beasts is particularly strong, but neither is easy to capture.

"The Chicken Snake Dragon is very timid and lives in groups. You’ll need to find a way to ambush them, otherwise, once you’re spotted and a chicken calls, all snake heads of the flock will simultaneously gaze at you, plunging even a Peak Witch into inextricable fear. Once startled, their vigilance will peak for the next several days, making a second chance difficult."

"The Rock Snake Dragon is solitary, though typically underground and rarely surfacing. You might attempt to lure it up with bait, but this dragon beast is highly sensitive to ground disturbances. Even with traps laid, you’ll need to observe from afar. Attacks can only be remote sniping, and if you make a mistake, it will instantly burrow underground, staying hidden for days."

Mavis also chimed in on Mother Dragon’s explanation, elaborating on the hunting challenges to the group.

This made Dorothy look expectantly at Mother Superior.

Oh dear, ambush and sniping—aren’t you outright hinting at testing my archery skills?

The homebody witch thought Mother Dragon deliberately chose these dragon beasts to test her, or perhaps to dissuade her from her bombardment dream.

But she wasn’t the type to retreat in the face of difficulty.

A bit of challenge makes it engaging anyway, as she now felt invigorated.

Soon, after resting, the group embarked on their hunting journey.

This time, Mother Dragon didn’t summon Dragon Serpent Martial Soul to fly them, which would have caused too large a commotion, scaring off all the dragon beasts—a fruitless hunt.

Thus, everyone opted to fly discreetly on brooms at a slow pace.

Dorothy pulled out the Light Chaser, the birthday gift Alice had given her, looking like a heavy motorcycle.

Well, although the little witch clearly gave her what she herself favored as a gift, she indeed hit the right mark this time. The homebody witch felt her regular broom bought during school enrollment was running short, wanting a replacement, when Alice gifted her with such a top-tier broom.

Although, if possible, the homebody witch didn’t care much for such an ostentatiously-shaped broom, as it didn’t match her usually discreet demeanor. However, since it was a birthday gift from her cute sister, Dorothy didn’t mind being flashy once in a while.

Hehe, how do you guys know this was a gift from my adorable sister? How about it, has your sister ever given you something? Oh, sorry, I forgot most witches are only children, my bad, turns out you don’t have a cute sister.

Well, the Fairy King does enjoy the Light Chaser. When Dorothy first received the broom, she tried to take the fellow for a spin, only for this brat to be just as teasing with leopard laughs whenever it sees someone.

Truly annoying, Dorothy sometimes wonders how such a socially anxious homebody could have such a "socially anxious" incarnation, curious about where the twisted personality inherited from.

Still, the new broom indeed provides a nice feel, equipped with a soft, comfortable cushion, eliminating the need for magical cushion construction each flight, especially as Dorothy is traditionally a rider, not a side-sitter. Without magical cushion construction, broom riding risks various flips in many senses.

The only issue is the sheer speed of the Light Chaser, making Dorothy easily "Magic Gate" widen without notice, leaving companions trailing behind, thus requiring brake moderation to suppress speed.

Mother Dragon and Mavis merely led the group to the entrance of a valley shrouded in miasma and toxic mist then halted.

"Alright, this is the burial site of the ancient Snake Dragon King, so we won’t give any further hints. Finding prey yourself is more fun in hunting."

Euphilia remarked to the group.

"Okay, Mother Superior, just watch us, mere hunting, we’ll handle it effortlessly."

Dorothy voiced no objection to this.

To better perform, she thus switched to the Fairy King account, appearing somewhat flamboyant then.

Just the Fairy King could boast, while the homebody witch had much to consider.

She glanced at the surrounding view-blocking miasma and toxic mist, feeling slightly daunted.

The game difficulty raised again—Mother Superior didn’t mention this place would hinder vision so severely; sniper work in such a place was indeed torturous.

The homebody witch’s Magic Talisman mark flickered briefly in her eyes, attempting to enhance sight using Observing Qi Technique, yet found little effect.

The miasma and toxic mist in the valley stems from the remains of Primordial Dragon, imbued with potent Dragon’s Magic, hence entirely impervious to regular Pupil Skill penetration. Even after activating Observing Qi Technique enhancement, her vision still only reached less than a hundred meters.

Fortunately, she wasn’t fighting alone.

Now, Dorothy turned her gaze to Sophia and Audrey beside her.

These two sisters certainly possessed high Level Magic Eyes, their sight undoubtably superior in such environments.

Indeed, the Pure White Witch remained calm, initially intending to offer directions, but reconsidered upon spotting the eager Little Fox nearby, eventually remaining silent.

"Senior sister, I’ll take the lead in directions."

Audrey gratefully glanced at Angel Witch, then happily volunteered.
