Chapter 693: Baby, You’re Amazing

After that, Iris Yates wished she could sew his mouth shut. His muscles were taut, sweat streaming down his skin.

His blue eyes were dazed, his panting breath incredibly sexy. He held her waist, constantly encouraging her.

"You’re so good, baby. You’re amazing. I love you so much!"

The sound of his rapid gasps was enough to make one’s ears burn.

She clamped a hand over his mouth. "You... just stop talking..."

William Quinn readily began to lick and kiss her hand, the one on her waist tightening its grip.

Iris Yates was spent. She collapsed onto his chest, listening to the deafening thud of his heart.

William Quinn stroked her back and kissed her tenderly. "Amazing. My baby is the best. Now, leave the rest to me."

In an instant, the world spun, and she was pinned beneath him.

...

Iris Yates saw the sunrise over the sea, but she was in no mood to appreciate it. Her head was foggy and her body ached with exhaustion, yet one thing remained on her mind.

"Don’t forget what you promised me."

Before drifting into a deep slumber, she grabbed his arm and fixed her gaze on him.

William Quinn leaned down to kiss her swollen lips, his voice laced with sated pleasure. "I won’t forget."

Only then did Iris Yates drift off to sleep, her mind at ease.

...

After three straight days of drinking herbal medicine, Chloe Reed had stopped coughing up blood. She tried to make a sound, but her voice was still a terribly grating rasp. She stared at her reflection in the mirror, her clear eyes filled with a profound loneliness.

Just then, her phone chimed. An email had arrived.

She pulled out her phone, and her eyes widened in shock.

The anonymous email contained only a single photo. In it, Iris Yates frowned at the camera, while beside her, William Quinn, with his angelically handsome face, grinned happily.

Chloe Reed ignored him completely, zooming in on the photo to examine Iris carefully.

The background appeared to be the deck of a cruise ship. Iris was wearing a dress, and though there were suggestive marks below her collarbones, she wasn’t injured. She actually looked to be doing well.

After checking it carefully several times, Chloe Reed pressed the phone to her chest and breathed a deep sigh of relief.

’Thank God, Iris is okay.’

"Chloe, are you still in there?"

Just then, Walker Grant’s voice came from outside the door.

Chloe Reed turned and opened the bathroom door. Walker Grant was standing in the doorway, his face wrapped in white gauze, but his complexion was much better than before.

She typed on her phone, and a cold, electronic female voice spoke, "I just got an anonymous email. I think it’s from William Quinn. Can you use it to find Iris’s location?"

Beneath the white gauze, Walker Grant’s brows furrowed slightly. "William Quinn sent it to you?" he asked.

"Yes." Chloe Reed typed again, the electronic voice continuing, "It’s a selfie of him and Iris on a cruise ship. I’m guessing they’re on some island."

Walker Grant nodded. "Okay, got it. Forward the photo to Dylan Finch. I’ll have him run a trace."

"Okay!"

"Whose photo? Is it Iris?"

Nathaniel Monroe asked. He had just walked in, catching only the tail end of the conversation, but his heart clenched instantly.

Chloe Reed’s eyes flickered. ’If Nathaniel Monroe sees this picture, he’ll definitely lose his mind.’

"This doesn’t concern you."

Walker Grant said coldly.

But Nathaniel Monroe wasn’t missing the cues this time. He stared right at Chloe Reed. "Chloe, is that a picture of Iris? Let me see it."
