’She’s willing to make a demand of him now. Does that mean she’s starting to pay attention to him?’

’Does that mean she’s one step closer to falling in love with him?’

Thinking this, William Quinn grew even happier. He set down his wine glass, his blue eyes shimmering with excitement as he looked at her and asked, "Baby, what else do you want?"

Iris Yates’s lovely brows furrowed. She gave him a strange look. "Are you nuts?"

’He doesn’t find this troublesome at all. Why does he look so eager?’

William Quinn shook his head. "I’m not sick. I’m very healthy. If you don’t believe me, I can get a physical. Every doctor will say I’m in perfect health."

Iris Yates was speechless.

She rolled her eyes again without a shred of courtesy and said, "You’re too healthy. I don’t like it."

William Quinn blinked his blue eyes, a hint of confusion appearing on his angelically handsome face.

"I’m healthy, so I can bring you pleasure. If I were sick, how could I do that?"

Iris Yates was speechless.

She suddenly gripped the edge of the table, and with a great heave, flipped it over!

CRASH!

Everything on the table tumbled to the floor. Porcelain shattered and red wine spilled everywhere.

Iris Yates looked at him and said, "I don’t like any of this."

"If you don’t like it, then get rid of it." William Quinn watched her, raising a slight eyebrow, then stood up and walked over. "Baby, next time you don’t like something, just say the word. I’ll have someone take care of it. You could easily hurt yourself doing this. And if you get hurt, my heart will ache."

Iris Yates stared at him with a strange look in her eyes. "You’re definitely sick."

Then she stood up and left the dining room.

But William Quinn followed close behind her. "Baby, I really am healthy. You, of all people, should have experienced that firsthand."

Iris Yates covered her ears, her face a mask of irritation. "Enough! Don’t say another word!"

A wronged expression appeared on William Quinn’s face, his blue eyes looking at her pitifully. "Baby, am I wrong? Why don’t you want to hear it? We’re the two most intimate people in the world. It’s normal to talk about these things."

Iris Yates spun around and slapped him across the face, her eyes blazing with fury. "Do you have any idea what coercion is? I don’t like you at all! I hate being with you, and I hate it even more when you touch me!"

William Quinn turned his head slightly, pushing his tongue against the inside of his cheek. He reached up and touched his face, then turned back, a smile spreading across his lips.

"But baby, I love you so much."

He took her hand and blew on it tenderly. "I would cut my own heart out for you."

Iris Yates began to tremble all over.

’Psycho.’

’Suffocating!’

’Despair!’

She could barely breathe!

She closed her eyes, trying hard to calm herself, knowing she couldn’t go too far.

’What if I really piss him off and he goes back on his word?’

’This chance to let Chloe and the others know where I am... it was so hard to get.’

Iris Yates took several deep breaths before saying, "I want to eat instant noodles."

William Quinn’s brows knitted together. "Baby, that stuff is unhealthy."

"It’s what I want to eat."

Iris Yates’s expression was stubborn. "If there aren’t any, then I’m not eating at all."

She turned her head away angrily.

"Fine. I’ll send someone to find some."

William Quinn couldn’t bear the thought of her going hungry. As long as she was willing to ask him for things, he would agree to any condition—except letting her leave.

He immediately sent someone to look. He truly never ate that kind of junk food, but luckily, the crew would have it on hand. It was, after all, a quick meal that wouldn’t take much time to eat.
