10km offshore of Knight of Light Kingdom
The sea was quiet at night, and the surface was calm like a mirror reflecting the stars.
…………
But in the black sea - even deeper darkness looms. Big enough to swallow one village, it stood still near the sea level, but eventually sank slowly.
Knight of Lights Port Town Zucker Halfen
"Got it, lady, head. There are four magic ships in this Zucker Halfen."
The cold light of the magic lamp illuminates the room. Four men and a woman gathered at a small table - Lark was sitting in bed listening.
Ever since the Bandit era, they have known "head cooks", and repeated small raids saying, "People attack, but they don't get hurt, they take money, but they don't take too much." They lived in detail, often blinded by the guards.
The role hasn't changed since then.
"Hmm. All four?
"Of course."
The skinny man with his chest was called a scout. There was no name, it was called "scout" of the role, and so was the companion called "engineer".
The scout points to a simplified map of the city placed on the table.
"This port is largely divided into fishing and transport vessels. But only this corner is a parking lot for the town's facials."
"Hmm? There may be military ships."
"The military ship is next door. You can't move a military ship in the same place as everybody else."
"I see - well, the Magic Ship is in the rich dock, right?
"Yes, but there's a dock, and it'll be over soon."
"Ha-ha. Don't float your ship in the ocean. Save it carefully on land. Don't let the rich spoil everything."
Your head said it, but the scouts are tough.
"That's our chance. It's time for the locksmith."
Pong, put your hand on the head of a small man sitting next to you.
His slender hair hangs down to his eyes, and his slender body shape is reminiscent of a dwarf, but he is simply a small human race.
"Oh, oh, me?
"You can break into the dock and get caught. I need you for that, don't I? I can open the locksmith's arm."
"It's going so well....."
Scouts, chaotic engineers,
"I think we can go. If you float in the sea, there are people's eyes, but if you get caught in the dock, you don't have to worry about people's eyes. I guess the slowest part is engineering, where you start the magic ship, right?
"I see. I think you've lost your head by scouting."
"... for me, it's superfluous, my head"
If I even set fire to the Magic Ship's engines, then I'll be in the ocean and in Osaraba.
"It's going so well....."
The engineer looks at you in a chaotic way.
"So, what do we do, lady?"
His head turned to Lark.
Lark opened his mouth as if he had finally noticed.
"... hmm? Ah, if you guys can go, that's it."
"Lady... Are you sure you want to follow me? That's right. Keep your feet together, so stay here."
"Uuuuuuuu. You can't sleep here alone, even though you're doing it for me. Well, if it's decided, let's go."
"Lady, this kind of thing, plan carefully...."
"Shut up, engineer. I never had a plan. I often say,"
Lark was right in a sense when he just got up.
It is unlikely that we will be able to obtain new information even if we think about it any further or investigate it.
Either way, they compete. If it seems unlikely to succeed, you can run away, and the Shura Hall has been surrounded by enemies many times.
(... but this time, I don't want you to use your daughter's talent)
I think you're smart.
Lark's malaise is almost certain to be due to his talent, and if he uses his talent to acquire a ship, he will fall.
"All right, you guys, let's go. It's the departure of the pirate band Tidal Wind 50,000 Miles."
Your head stood up with words.
…………
…………
…………
"... hey, Cook. Seriously, stop that fucking name."
Hearing the cold gaze of the three companions and Lark's stupid voice, his head snapped.
"That's why you can't learn, thief."
"It has nothing to do with science...."
Although the downtown area is still crowded, the late night Zucker Halfen is dark and unpopular just by entering the back street. I can constantly hear the sound of chapo, chapo, chapo.
The five seemed to be walking without difficulty, but none of them made any footsteps. In addition, even if there are people who have glimpsed through the streets because they choose nature and shade, they will not think that five people have passed through there at all.
The late night harbour is even less crowded. The transport vessel was set on fire and guards and mercenaries stood as an outpost, but the fishing vessel compartment was unmanned.
And beyond that -- so is the compartment where the bourgeoisies dock.
"Hey, seriously, is there a magic ship here? It's not as much as an airship, but it's still supposed to be a fortune... and yet it's not guarded at all."
Lark says,
"Well, the magic equipment, except for the intruder, is set..."
The locksmith pointed to the dock in front of him.
Three stories tall, stone structure with small windows everywhere.
The dock has a huge door facing the harbor, which you can open and go down the hill and down into the sea.
A rope was passed to the door, and there were several things like magic lamps hanging around.
"Ha, I don't know the range, but, uh, as we get closer, the alarm goes off... it's simple, but it's troublesome."
By the way, behind the dock, there's a garrison of guards, and it looks like it's supposed to go off when the alarm goes off. The idea is that it's more efficient than standing on a sentry.
"How do I disarm the owner of this place?"
"I have a magic tool to de-alert. It's not realistic to make a substitute for that now."
Scout answered instead.
Let's take a look at the rest of the dock.
There were many docks with the same alarm system, and if they were excluded, there were only two docks that could enter. One of them seems to have a magic ship dock.
"Maybe... but... Probably five."
"Hmm, that's a bad bet. I can't do it anyway, let's try it out there."
Lark hit his right fist with his left hand.
