There are eight places in the world where talent balls are produced (...).

One of them is the Three Heavens Forest (Third Forest), which is managed by elves, and few other people but elves know how to make a gifted ball.

Indeed, in the "Rokuten Mine (Six Mine)" where I was, the mine was dungeonated, and grew on the wall there (...). I thought that the "One Day Altar (First Alter)" I saw in the Holy Kingdom of Kurvan was shining with a picker, and a talent ball appeared.

There must be a difference in appearance depending on the location.

The Santen Forest was located almost in the middle of the vast Keysgrain Federation, and it was a large forest large enough for the Knight of Light kingdom to enter. It seems that only a small fraction of talent balls actually appear... but anyway,

"Wow...."

It was only 15 days after we left the port town of Zuckerhafen that we took the coach from the federal capital, Valhalla, and arrived at the Santen Forest.

There were huge trees standing in front of me, and the boundary was clear as if a clear line had been drawn between my meadow and the forest.

The forest is more than 10 meters tall, and the sound of birds is suddenly heard.

I'm selling fruit from the woods.

"-- Why don't you buy a special elf potion?"

"-- Visit us if you wish to enter the Kingdom of Sylvie."

"... the Adventurer has a request from the Guild."

The streets that were running to sew the undulating grasslands stopped once in front of the forest. It seems that entering the Three Heavens Forest has the same screening as entering the country.

Small settlements with lodgings, shops, cafeterias, and various buildings with public institutions such as guilds.

(Even though it seems like you can smuggle in from anywhere with this much space)

After all, the smuggling problem seemed to be serious - poachers targeting unique rare beasts and gifted jewels in the Santian Forest never stopped - and the Adventurer Alliance posted "patrol requests in the Santian Forest". The rewards are high because fighting poachers is inevitable and adventurers are reluctant to stay because this border settlement is largely unattractive.

(And I don't have any elves.)

The only people who sold it in the shop and ran the inn were the human race. The Keesgrain Federation is generally biased against subraces, and there are no beasts or dwarfs here.

The only building that screens applicants for admission to the Kingdom of Sylvie was different.

Two Elf guards stood at the entrance, staring sharply at the immigrants in line. He holds a wooden spear in leather armor (leather mail) that has been soaked and hardened with a special agent. The spear's ear sharpened the ore, not the metal. If you enter the forest like this, you will melt into it as a forest dweller.

"Elf-like" in me, with long blonde ears, is tight and beautiful, but my eyes feel tight.

In order for the examinations to be carried out one by one, they are arranged outdoors. It is fine now because it is autumn, but I thought it would be quite difficult in winter and rainy days.

"Next, come in."

When it was my turn to go inside, there were five elves. Three were armed and two were beyond the counter.

The two were dressed in beautiful indigo cloth, and they were no exception civilian. Unlike armed elves, there is an atmosphere that is gentle around the eyes but cannot be alarmed.

"Give me your ID.... hmm, is this an Adventurer's Guild Certificate? His name is Reggie. Unfortunately, you can't enter the country."

Huh? Huh?

"Wait a minute, please. Why is that? I haven't told you anything yet."

"Because I'm an adventurer."

"I'm sorry, I don't know. The Adventurer's Guild ID should be fine."

"It's not about not being unable to prove your identity, it's about being an adventurer."

One of the two people on the other side of the counter looked annoying, but the other explained it to me. [M]

I mean, everything seems to be caused by poachers.

Most of the poachers are adventurers, and they say, "I've been asked by the Alliance." Indeed, the Guild's request was to bring something that was only available in the "Three Heavens Forest".

The more you try to get in the market, the more expensive the reward amount is.

But poaching in the Three Heavens Forest is free.

The Alliance does not specify how to obtain it, and since it cannot confirm the market quote of the requested item, the request will be posted as requested by the client, and the adventurer will accept it.

"But that's the problem with the Adventurer Alliance. It is not our problem, we must protect the interests of the country and the forest."

"That's true... but the poachers and the adventurers are also under control, right?

"Yes, that's the problem even more."

Apparently, it is the only poacher who receives requests for "restraint". They said it was a really long way off that they could legally enter the "Three Heavens Forest" and even receive the rewards of the "Control Request".

The Adventurer Alliance also thinks this is a problem and is trying to verify the identity of the adventurer who receives the "control request", but there is only a limited amount of work that can be done and the situation hasn't improved much.

"So you think we're going to let those adventurers in?

"That's right..."

"Well then, go home..."

"Hold on a second. What if there's something that guarantees my identity?

"What do you mean?"

If you can only see me as an adventurer, you can give me another ID.

I didn't think there was an opportunity to be active here all of a sudden--

"This way."

I gave the counter the ID issued in the Lev Magic Empire. [M] The two elves looked suspicious, but soon their complexion changed.
