Parallel World Pharmacy
Chapter 4: 14: The Ruin of Hermes the Alchemist
As Pharma broke up with Salomon when she realized the horrible fact and tried to enter the pharmacist's office in a palace with Hugo to ascertain the truth, she heard from inside the room a drugger who knew nothing and a court minister just thriving on rumors of a reputable alchemist in Imperial Capital.
(Oh, you talked at the right time)
Looks like we don't have to cut the subject out of Pharma.
"... so I hear you succeeded in alchemy in the demonstration"
"There was a demonstration at the Imperial City Hall the other day, and apparently it was a big day. Anything, like showing Homunculus again."
Rumors of Hermes the Alchemist have finally been heard by the court, apparently.
"For once, I'd like to see it."
"Unless you're an alchemist or his apprentice, you don't seem to be allowed in the venue. The aristocratic alchemist seems to be eating the foreclosure, so becoming a civilian alchemist has no legend..."
Hermes did well, fearing exposure to fraud or shutting out a potentially educated aristocratic alchemist from the venue.
(Well, Mr. Pierre was a civilian alchemist, so you could let him in?)
"Hello, everyone"
Farma walked into the pharmacy halfway through their conversation with no eating face, so the two pharmacists turn around.
"Oh, Pharmacist. Hi, I'm off duty today."
"I have some leftovers. I'll be home as soon as I'm done with my work."
Pharma gives you a good reason.
Then one of the first-class pharmacists told Pharma and Hugo that it was just fine.
"Thank you. Yes, sir, do you know the story of that alchemist and the Pharmacist?
Hugo, who had completed the examination of the court minister, put on a medical record and returned home, looked surprised.
"Oh. Well, I have it in my ear, but I can't see the way the eagles do it, and you're not interested in Petten."
To avoid being suspected of involvement, Hermes' alchemy was cut and discarded with peten.
"Are you a petten, though it's a dream story. Does Pharmacist think alchemy is theoretically possible?
The fluent pharmacist asks questions that go further into Pharma with a focus of interest.
"Gold is an element, so it's not something that can be synthesized and renewed. Unless you used some kind of special divine technique, it's definitely a scam."
When Pharma gave a light and intrinsic explanation, the movement of the pimple and the Hugo stopped. And Hugo looks at Pharma in suspicion.
"What's wrong? My lord."
And Pharma softly returns her gaze.
"No..."
Because she was dressed as a woman that night, or Hugo didn't seem to realize that Farma was present at the alchemy rally.
"Really? Then you're a scammer. The Empire should be controlled."
Pharmacists who are disappointed to hear of fraud abhor their noses if they don't punish them quickly.
"There's no way you can afford money."
where the pharmacist and the court chief were laughing, Farma said.
"If you can just show me the money, you can."
"What, is that true?!
The pharmacists rejoiced.
"Come on, all of you, close your eyes and remember, it's gold. Get out."
Pharma gently kneels her right hand, closing her eyes and uttering a spell-like word.
And when I finished the proper chant as I could think of it, I opened my eyes softly.
"I'm out."
With those words, Pharma confidently opens her hands.
For some reason, the pharmacists laughed at Pharma for being good at it. Hugo sighs like that, too.
"There's nothing here."
"Ha, this was a cup of excitement. Master Pharma makes fun of us. Come."
Pharma joined them and laughed, then turned her fingers back.
"Behind you."
Fluffy and golden powder danced, and gold entered the corner of their sight.
"What!?
Looking back as they had been begun, a pile of sand was sedentary enough to fill the room. Gold was gushing out of the surface of the golden mountain, gliding sarcastically down the surface.
It was an unspeakable amount of gold, as if it had collected gold from all over the empire.
When the pharmacist squeezes his eyes, he accidentally sticks his hand into a pile of sand and ascertains its texture.
"Well, you saw it?
When Pharma, who saw them put it in their eyes, rattled his pussy and fingers, the gold vanished without a trace.
"Become... what the hell is golden now...!?
Both the pharmacists and Hugo were taken lightly, but the pharmacists next applauded.
"Did you think it was real?
Pharma jokes and asks, spying on Hugo's reaction.
"What did you do now!?
"Do you care? It's just a trick."
Pharma answered with a cool face.
"The trick? This is it? Hey, this is brilliant. Tell me how you did it."
"This is good for the fun of it. I hear the alchemist in the matter was also full of just a handful or so of gold, so the Pharmacist spectacle is on a different scale!
"I'm curious if you don't keep the magic tare a secret."
Pharma refused to seed it for the most part. The tease created gold in material creation and wiped it clean and refreshing with erasure. He showed off his alchemy in the true sense of no tango or trick, and called it a trick, as opposed to Hermes. It made the Alchemy Show worthless.
"It's not like Farma."
I just saw a good spectacle and the pharmacists rejoiced.
But Hugo made his face pull, and he didn't laugh. I didn't have time to plant Tane, using any existing trick, the spectacle is impossible right now. Because I didn't think it was a trick.
"If we continue to defraud any more, we will expose all tricks and bring them to justice"
Pharma nailed one of his fruit Hugo as he spoke to everyone who was there.
"Oh, that must be chesty. Make sure you do it."
The pharmacists say it sounds interesting.
"It's only a matter of time before evil is discovered."
The words unleashed by Pharma remained a direct threat to Hugo.
And Hugo saw a familiar ring on Pharma's finger.
Farma left the palace with Hugo in his possession, running his horse back to the de Medicis family, when he realized he was being put behind him. Don't go straight back to your house and run your horse to the wasteland on the outskirts of Teito.
When Pharma looked back, a masked man was following him on a horse.
The identity is already known to Pharma.
"Why don't you take the mask, Your Grace? You don't have to hide it."
Quickly, Pharma calls on the masked man.
"Hermes the Alchemist, is you, isn't he? Why don't you stop doing this now?
In Pharma's mouth as if he had foreseen everything, Hugo turned a leopard and turned to an evil smile.
"Oh man. If I hadn't stuck an extra neck, I'd have let something good... no longer live"
Hugo pulled out a gold wand with three crystal stones. Hugo's arm as a divine magician is superior.
In response to his actions, Pharma also unplugs the drug scepter.
In Pharma's hand a beautiful and transparent wand of smooth form was gripped. I saw that. Hugo lags behind.
Pharma was always wearing a medicinal scepter but put it in the sheath and never pulled out a scepter in court.
"What, that wand...! Pharmaceutical sceptre...... why is that here!? I can't touch humans. It's a scepter."
"Oh, you know what?"
Pharma spins it around and shows it off.
The patron saint of court pharmacist Hugo knew the drug god, that's why, the drug god's drug scepter.
If Pharma had shown the engraved arm of the sacred crest of the medicine God, Hugo, knowing what it meant, would have fallen down screaming.
"I know something, too."
Pharma put her one breath down.
"The crystal stone at the bottom of Lake Sulphate, the same as the crystal stone of this wand, contains the soul of the dead. When you discovered it, you melted the crystal stone and put the soul of the dead in the monkeys, and you lied about it being Homunculus, and you deceived many. He also misused his wealth of knowledge to work scams against civilian alchemists who were struggling with their lives.... is it not?
There was no objection from Hugo.
I tried wearing some tears, but it seemed to be a figure to some extent.
"How did you do that? You've lost one of your most important men because of your fraud."
"Subordinates? Those are living corpses. He was originally dead, I don't mind."
Hugo points his wand at Pharma.
(Living corpse? What's that supposed to mean?
That woman alchemist had a temperature, and she had a breath. It wasn't a corpse or an evil spirit. Pharma wonders what it means.
"Do you know what my noble plan is..."
And he made a voice like he bit something called resentment to death.
"You know what I mean! Falmar! To you and so on!!
Peel off your eyes and scream as you fly your mouth corner bubbles.
There was no shadow to see the former court pharmacist, who was a gentle and elegant gentleman. There was a pathetic, ugly man there who was obsessed with hatred and lost me.
(That's a total rebellion)
Pharma floated with the drug scepter in his hand. At the same time, I liberate about half of the divine power that I usually felt suppressed. The venue instantly generated a clump of divine power, creating a vortex of divine power.
Thunder blasts, rubbed by a storm, and the atmosphere trembles.
"" Water Spear... ""
You must have thought of the difference in character, a panicked Hugo tried to unleash divine art, but he was crushed by Pharma's divine power, he couldn't even call divine power into his wand, and he didn't even activate it. Hugo is a water attribute theologian, by using the art of his own lineage, he was devoured by Pharma.
Pharma waves the drug scepter in a deliberately loud motion. As he shook off his wand, the columns of ice burst into the sky multiple times as they plundered right next to Hugo. But I didn't hit the ice column on Hugo.
With the pressure of being indirectly hit with divine power, Hugo's wand was shatteringly destroyed.
"What's up? Can't you shoot him?
Falma loosely looks down at him from above and speaks to the rattled and frightened Hugo, falling from his knees. Hugo realized late that he was the one who shouldn't have gotten his hands on him.
Panicked, Hugo took out a revolver-style pistol that hadn't been out in much of the empire yet and fired at him with multiple bullet pharma.
(Is it a newest pistol? The great nobleman can hear you.)
The trajectory of the bullet seemed slightly slower in Pharma's eyes.
Pharma's neurotransmission rate is accelerating at once.
(Take it or not)
The nobleman fights with a wand.
A sword or gun is something you would never use, even if it was there and you were dying.
Farma, who was asking Ellen that, loses sight of Hugo.
"Yay...!
The shooting was so accurate that Hugo accidentally screamed. I thought three shots had hit Pharma's chest, just a hole in his clothes, and the bullet pierced Pharma's body and was intact.
Pharma did not guard at all and received all the bullets into its body without any divine art.
What you've bumped into with speed and mass, what you recognize, can be avoided by semi-entializing. Because I know the properties of my own body.
"You... who are you! Then it's a monster... Huh!
The bullet is hitting Pharma. It's hitting, but it won't fall. It doesn't even tickle.
That was the word that Hugo finally spun with his trembling lips, not even a curse.
"Come on, who is it?
Farma doesn't even know what she is.
"Let's go."
As Pharma gently caught her fingertips, thick ice covered the lower body of the Hugo, frozen from soil to soil, and stopped moving at all. To the screaming Hugo, Pharma slowly approached him as he floated, swinging the drug scepter backwards, stirring up Hugo's fear and waving the scepter down at once.
Hugo perceived to be stabbed...... guard is also halfway through, stifling his body and closing his eyes.
But there was no blow to death, and the drug scepter was penetrating Hugo's skull.
"The Decay of the Sacred Springs"
Pharma's voice echoed in Hugo's brain, feeling as if he had been brained with a cane, and a cock, and a sound of something closing behind Hugo's body. The closure of the divine vein can be done without chanting, but in order to let him know what he had done, Pharma dared pronounce the activated chant and engrave it in his ear.
As it is, Pharma talks to him to whisper.
"I closed your divine line. I will make reparations to the victims of fraud, and if I do not fraud again, I will not question the sins, and I will open my divine veins to you again. Otherwise, you're doomed."
When you're done saying that, unfreeze the body of Hugo.
"Hi... no"
Hugo did not fit the roots of his teeth and was incontinent in a language that contained so much absolute intimidation and coercion that he did not think of it as a child. Pharma left him in the wilderness to ride his horse and return to the mansion.
In the end, Hugo was perfectly intact, but mentally he suffered serious trauma.
The alchemy study group would then never be held again in Imperial City, and an alchemist named Hermes disappeared into the darkness. Hugo, who was stopped by Pharma, cut off his property and compensated the alchemists. With the financial power of the House of the Honorable, the gold collected from the Alchemist was not a great sum. The alchemists said they were very pleased to receive unknown gold chunks from the sender.
I did as I said, so Pharma was thinking it was time to open his divine vein, and then, not long after, Hugo told the Empress to resign from the court pharmacist, and returned his badge and fled back to the territory.
During this time, Hugo continued to flee Pharma thoroughly and never looked at each other. Ask the court ministers, if the name of Pharma is to be found in the court, they say that they have run away somewhere out of curiosity. Between the court ministers, the honourable lord became too frenetic about his jealousy of Pharma.
By that time, Pierre's burns had healed and reopened business vigorously.
"I did it..."
Somewhat, Farma introspected that he had threatened too much. Leaving the divine vein closed, you will have trouble finding out that you can no longer use divine art as soon as you return to your territory, and you will not be able to resume as a civilian pharmacist in that mental state, Farma thought so.
"You've already had your fangs pulled out and you're reflecting on it, and the divine vein opens up. Let's visit."
I was also concerned about Hugo's real purpose, which was not revealed on that occasion.
So Pharma decided to visit the territory of Hugo with some condolences.
