Ever since the Immortal-Demon Hope Elementary school was established in the Cultivation World, all children between the ages of five and twelve were sent there by their families to study.

The "Immortal-Demon Hope Elementary" was a school jointly established by The Immortal and Demonic Paths. It offered what was known as six years of compulsory education, and enrollment was free. The school gathered thousands of introductory Cultivation Methods from both The Immortal and Demonic Paths, each one carefully screened and confirmed to be flawless. The school would select the most suitable Cultivation Method for each student based on their Spirit Root, innate talent, and constitution, allowing them to build the most solid foundation possible. This way, they could progress faster and go further in their Cultivation after joining a Sect.

The faculty at the Immortal-Demon Hope Elementary was also incredibly strong, with teachers hired from the outside at high salaries. These instructors included Loose Cultivators as well as powerful figures invited from the Major Sects of The Immortal and Demonic Paths. Their primary focus here was to teach according to each student’s aptitude.

Each Cultivator who taught at the school specialized in different areas. Therefore, they only needed to finish their classes for the day before they could leave. They might have only two classes a day, and some Cultivators taught just one. A few even came in to teach only a single class per week. It was an amount of time they could all easily spare.

The most important point was that the pay was just too good.

The Spirit Stones they received for just one year of teaching children surpassed several years of income at their own Sects. Since they could earn Spirit Stones while also cultivating new talent for their Sects, they were more than happy to do it.

In other words, children from both The Immortal and Demonic Paths were treated as equals at the school. As long as a child graduated, they would go on to enter one of the Major Sects and become a sect disciple. The school itself didn’t get involved in which Sect a student chose to join after graduation.

Of course, around graduation time each year, elders from the Major Sects would arrive with their disciples to recruit new blood. This meant that the most talented students, upon graduation, could be recruited as Core Disciples by the Major Sects, or even become a Direct Disciple of an elder, which would secure the child’s entire future.

The children who came to study at the school were divided into grades, from first to sixth. Children in the first and second grades were still too young to be taught Cultivation; practicing certain Cultivation Techniques too early could even harm their bodies. So, after enrolling, they were first taught phonetics, character recognition, and writing.

The *Three Character Classic*, the *Thousand Character Classic*, and the *Hundred Family Surnames* were all required courses. They also had to learn about numbers and basic addition and subtraction. It wasn’t until the third grade that they would begin introductory Cultivation to truly build a solid foundation, at which point they also started learning multiplication and division.

Aside from the existing Cultivation Methods from The Immortal and Demonic Paths, all the other textbooks were painstakingly compiled by Nana Warren. Her name was on the back of every book: "Compiled and edited by Headmaster Nana Warren."

It didn’t matter if you were a young master or a young miss at home, or a child from a poor family—everyone received the same education here. To implement the concept of educational equality, it wasn’t just children from the Cultivation World who could enroll; any child from The Mortal Realm who was found to possess a Spirit Root would also be accepted.

Leo went on and on.

Celeste Grant listened quietly.

A look of profound amazement crossed her face as she listened. "I can’t believe you managed to become a headmaster while I was in seclusion."

Nana Warren touched her braid and pushed up a pair of imaginary glasses on the bridge of her nose. "Since I came to this world, I had to leave something behind to prove I was here."

But as she said this, her spirits seemed to deflate.

Leo sighed. "Big Sis, you have no idea how much I’ve suffered. My original idea was honestly just to open a school and make those little rascals taste the same pain I once went through. But once I started, I couldn’t stop. You don’t know, there was a time I was spinning like a top every single day, worked like a dog. Thankfully, it was only like that for the first few years. Now, everything runs smoothly, and I don’t have to do much."

"Anyway, after that, I focused on my Cultivation and broke through to the Golden Core stage. My progress stalled a few days ago, so in my spare time, I decided to compile all the ancient poems I had memorized. I poured my heart and soul into it, racking my brain and pulling countless all-nighters until I finally wrote down every poem I could remember. It’s time for those little rascals to experience a baptism by fire." Of course, she didn’t have the nerve to claim she wrote them herself. She attributed each poem to its original poet from another world, noting that she was merely a humble porter of nature’s beauty.

Before she could finish gloating, Celeste Grant let out an unsympathetic laugh.

She held out her hand, and a collection of ancient poetry appeared in it. The cover, with its illustration and the title *Three Hundred Tang Poems*, was clearly visible.

Seeing Leo’s eyes widen, Celeste Grant smiled slightly and said, "I put this away a long time ago, thinking it might come in handy someday. Leo, why didn’t you wait for me! It’s just *Three Hundred Tang Poems*; see, I have a copy right here. You didn’t need to rack your brain and pour your heart and soul into compiling it from scratch. By the way, do you need anything else? I also have *Three Hundred Song Ci Poems*."

’Forget *Three Hundred Tang Poems*—you have *Three Hundred Song Ci Poems* too?’

At that moment, Leo leaned in close to the poetry collection in Celeste’s hand, eyes wide. She was heard muttering, "No... this isn’t real." She covered her eyes with her hand. "My eyes are going to bleed! Why did I have to see this?"

’No... I think I’m broken.’

Leo’s body went limp, and she slid to the floor, clutching her head in her hands.

"Heavens... what have I done?"

"A month... I poured a whole month of my life into this. Now I’m scared to even look at a brush." And it turned out she didn’t need to go through all that agonizing effort; if she had just waited a month or so, she could have had a ready-made copy of *Three Hundred Tang Poems*.

"Heh heh... heh heh..." She ruffled her hair until she looked like a ghost, then lifted her head and looked at Celeste Grant with a numb expression. "Big Sis... you’ve stabbed me in the heart. Twice."

At that moment, Leo’s heart went ice-cold, and a certain song began to play in her mind.

’Snowflakes drift, the north wind blows,’

’the world is a vast expanse.’

The song perfectly captured her feelings.

Looking at Leo sitting on the floor, Celeste Grant bent down slightly to look at her.

"Leo, are you okay?"

She nodded.

"Big Sis... I’m not crazy... Heh heh, not crazy at all. I’m fine..."

Seeing her disheveled hair and hearing her low, hollow laughter, Celeste felt as if she had stepped into the Cold Palace. Her dear Leo’s style was always so wonderfully weird.

She reached out, gently patting her on the shoulder. "Actually, you’re pretty amazing. You actually memorized three hundred ancient poems and could even write them all down. I could never do that."

’It would be absolutely impossible.’

Never mind three hundred ancient poems; even thirty would have been a great challenge for her.
