Chapter 1765: Chaos Ascension King

Kent knew asking for a way back home when he had just met these people was asking for too much. However, to his shock, his question was answered.

"There is a way out of this place. However, I am not sure you can handle it, especially with how fragile you are..." the lady responded, and the others laughed.

This made Kent finally sense their presence, causing him to frown a bit. Right now, there were 12 people in the hall, and 2 of them were far stronger than Kwame and the 2 he had seen outside.

In fact, the remaining ten were far stronger than the Blood Ancestor. This made him wonder just what they were capable of, or more importantly, how any of this was even possible.

From what he had learned about Primordials, they were the absolute beings of every universe. However, in every era, fewer than five were born. So it could be that, across all thirteen eras of the Infinity Universe, no more than a dozen Primordials had ever existed.

So having twelve of them gathered in a single room was clearly shocking.

’Just who are these people?’ he wondered inwardly. Then he sighed and asked the most important question.

"I still want to know. I am very important to many people, so staying here is not possible. I must return to my universe as soon as possible. So how can I go back."

The twelve people exchanged glances, and the lady sighed.

"Very well, I will tell you what you need to know. However, in return, you will share the method you used to form your Chaos Heart with us."

"Deal." Kent didn’t even bat an eye, showing he meant it when he said he wanted to go home. He knew the longer he remained separated from his wives, the more worried they would become, so he had to return home.

"Before I tell you how you can return to your universe, I must first tell you the history of the Chaos Ascension King, the absolute ruler of this world.

This world, called Chaos Chasm, has seven tribes, including the Red Bone Chaos Tribe.

A very long time ago, long before our ancestors were born, there existed a man known as the Universe King. None of us knew where he came from, or what he came here to do, but they said he was so powerful that a mere flick of his hand was all it would take to reduce an entire universe to dust.

Some parts of the history books say he came to this world to cultivate a powerful technique, others say he came to take a nap, while some say he came to create his own race.

But one thing was certain: whatever he came here to do, after succeeding, he created the seven tribes and bestowed upon each of them a unique cultivation art, with our Red Bone Chaos Tribe receiving the Red Bone Chaos Devouring Art.

Over the years, legendary warriors rose from within our ranks. However, as you can see, we are all that remains of the Red Bone Chaos Tribe."

"What happened to the others?" Kent asked, seeing how the conversation was unfolding.

"They ventured into the Primordial Chaos and never returned.

Before the Chaos Ascension King left, he told us that the only way we could leave this place was by passing his trial, known as the Chaos Ascension Tower Trial.

Over the years, many have attempted it, but none have succeeded. So if you want to leave this place, you must challenge the Chaos Ascension Tower and pass its trial. Failure means you will remain here with us forever."

Kent frowned slightly, not expecting things to be this serious.

In his mind, he had expected the way out of this place to involve asking the Chaos Ascension King for a favor. After all, he sounded like someone capable of anything. Instead, he now found himself facing a situation that didn’t require a genius to realize was extremely dangerous.

"Forget about it, little Human. Many of us have challenged the Chaos Ascension Tower and failed. You haven’t even stepped into divinity yet, so it’s not as though you can even enter and challenge it."

One of the tall Primordials said with a sigh.

"He is right, Kent Madson. Only Demigods and above are qualified to challenge the Chaos Ascension Tower. So you should forget about leaving this place for now and instead focus on growing stronger.

Perhaps one day, when you reach our level, you can try your luck," Kwame said, making Kent frown deeply.

"Unfortunately, I have no plans on staying here for long, so I will challenge it. As for becoming a Demigod, I just need to saturate my cores and, if possible, form more."

"Hold on a minute," the lady seated in the main chair exclaimed, causing Kent to narrow his eyes at her.

"Did you just say you can form more cores? You mean... more Chaos Hearts?"

Kent shook his head.

Yes. I only have one Chaos Heart. However, what I meant is that I can form other types of cores. The Chaos Heart is just one of them. While I don’t have a reliable way to replenish the other energies as I do with Chaos Essence, I can absorb Chaos Essence and convert it into those respective energies."

The lady stared at him for a long moment before speaking again.

"Curious... but can you tell me how many other cores you have?"

Kent sighed. Then he extended his hand, channeling his Blood Core, Flame Core, and Evil Core. Three spheres of crimson, blazing green, and sinister black energy condensed above his palm, each radiating an entirely different aura.

"Heavens..."

All twelve people inside the hall shot to their feet, their expressions frozen in disbelief.

"This is..." the lady muttered as she slowly walked toward Kent. "Are you sure you and the Chaos Ascension King aren’t related somehow?"

"I can assure you we aren’t related in any way." Kent shrugged. "But I have to ask... why do all of you look so shocked?"

The lady took a deep breath before answering.

"In the billions of years I have lived, the only person I have ever known to possess more than one core was the Chaos Ascension King himself. According to our ancient records, he possessed twelve different cores... and multiple copies of each."

Her gaze remained fixed on the three energy spheres floating above Kent’s palm.

"You may be connected to him in some way without even realizing it."

Kent laughed, but even for a moment, he couldn’t help but consider the notion.

"Well, if he and I are related, then perhaps he’ll beam me back to my universe at any moment now."

The people inside the hall burst into laughter.

"I suppose you’re right. Perhaps all of this is merely an extraordinary coincidence." The lady smiled before her expression turned serious once more.

"Even so, I refuse to believe your arrival here today is meaningless.

If you are willing, I would like to sponsor your cultivation. In return, you will represent my tribe in the upcoming Chaos Ascension King Trial."

Kent remained silent, allowing her to continue.

"None of the Seven Chaos Tribes knows what truly awaits at the end of the Chaos Ascension Tower, but we believe our freedom awaits us. Every 100,000 years, each tribe selects a representative to challenge it.

The next trial will begin fifty years from now.

If you agree, the Red Bone Chaos Tribe will provide you with every resource you require to increase your strength. When the trial begins, you will represent our tribe."

Kent blinked several times as a familiar translucent screen appeared before his eyes.

’Fuck me sideways... isn’t this a gold mine?’
