Anthony was left speechless by Thomas Fisher’s words, standing behind Alice Turner and glaring but unable to speak, taking a long time to recover.

"Mr. Fisher! If you have nothing else to discuss, you can leave now." Alice Turner wanted to add that she had important matters to discuss with her husband, but realized saying so might provoke Thomas Fisher, so she restrained herself from impulsively saying it.

"Mr. Fisher?"

Thomas Fisher focused on the way Alice Turner addressed him and didn’t seem to care at all about her telling him to leave. His eyes locked onto her without blinking, and he showed no signs of leaving.

Alice Turner turned her head towards the direction of the room’s door, avoiding Thomas Fisher’s intense gaze, "You should go, we have work to do."

She raised her hand and pointed toward the door, clearly urging him to leave.

"I won’t disturb your work. You work on yours, and I’ll sit there quietly without making a sound." Thomas Fisher not only didn’t follow Alice Turner’s cue to leave but also walked over to sit down on the couch; he didn’t act like a guest at all.

"Hah! My short temper!"

Anthony rolled up his sleeves, ready to charge at Thomas Fisher, but before he could lift his foot, Alice Turner grabbed him, "What’s wrong? Are you afraid I can’t beat him?"

Turning to glance at the man sitting on the couch, Anthony looked defiant.

Alice Turner really wanted to nod her head at the person in front of her and say: You really can’t beat him.

But she was sure if she said that, this guy would surely get upset with her, even rushing over to fight him.

"We’re all civilized people. How can we resort to fighting so easily?" In a moment of urgency, Alice Turner came up with this excuse, a sentiment she deeply agreed with, believing fighting was the most brainless and uncalm way to solve problems.

Anthony pointed at the indifferent Thomas Fisher sitting there, looking dissatisfied, "But look at him! Do we really need to be civil and polite to him?"

As he spoke, he waved his fist.

"Let him be; let’s just focus on our own work." Alice Turner glanced at Thomas Fisher, pulling Anthony towards the big bed, not wanting to say anything more to him because everything would be pointless to him at this moment.

Anthony felt somewhat unsatisfied, but seeing Alice Turner not arguing with Thomas Fisher, he didn’t press any further and followed Alice Turner to sit on the bed.

Because Thomas Fisher was still sitting on the couch, Alice Turner couldn’t concentrate on her work at all. But to prevent Anthony from causing any unpleasantness with him, she had to force herself to focus and drag Anthony into work.

Anthony wasn’t in the mood to work either, his eyes flitting between Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher on the couch, rarely focusing on the computer.

"Sis! That persistent intruder has quite some perseverance. I wonder how long he’ll sit there? Do you think he’ll sit there until night?" Anthony quietly pointed at Thomas Fisher, lowering his voice to ask Alice Turner.

That was a question Alice Turner truly couldn’t answer. Based on what she knew about Thomas Fisher, such a thing wasn’t impossible, and now she was very troubled, wondering how she could persuade this Buddha to leave.
