Chapter 1369: I Don’t Believe It
Lily Turner managed to handle her younger brother William Turner quite easily, but Easton Holmes was very vexed. After pulling Athena Linton out, she started arguing with him loudly.
"Why did you drag me out? I was just telling the truth, I wasn’t making things up in there." As soon as Evelyn Taylor was dragged to a secluded spot, she started lashing out at her big brother, her entire demeanor looking particularly aggressive.
Easton Holmes didn’t think much of Athena Linton’s aggression, and retorted directly, "Even if you’re telling the truth, you should consider the occasion. Today is your brother Easton’s big day, do you think it’s appropriate to do what you did?"

"I did that on purpose? Why would I do it on purpose? Stop talking nonsense." Athena Linton indeed did it intentionally, but how could she admit it? She couldn’t admit to anyone that she did it deliberately.

Easton Holmes was tall and sturdy, while Athena Linton wasn’t very tall and was quite frail. No matter how much strength she used, she couldn’t budge him an inch.
"I’ll go in when I feel like it, stop wasting your effort pushing me." He effortlessly pushed her away, creating some distance.
"If you’re not going in, then I am." Unable to push him and unwilling to plead, Athena Linton chose to turn around and return to the wedding venue. She had more important matters to attend to today and didn’t want to waste time squabbling with her brother here.
Easton Holmes didn’t immediately catch up but instead shouted at her retreating figure, "Once you’re back inside, you better not cause any more trouble, or what I just said will come true."
His words carried warnings and threats throughout. Her good brother was quite vexed, but she didn’t care and acted recklessly.
"How am I causing trouble? How can you spout such nonsense?" Hearing Easton Holmes’s threatening words, Athena Linton stopped and looked back at him, furious, "If you continue threatening me, believe it or not, I’ll tell our goddess sister and let her deal with you."
In the past, when she said this, she was mostly joking with him, but today she didn’t mean it as a joke at all. She was incredibly serious and solemn.
"I don’t believe it!"
Easton Holmes didn’t believe that Athena Linton wouldn’t go and complain to Lily Turner, but he didn’t believe Lily would reprimand him because of it. He was confident about that.
