Chapter 1368: It’s Not What You Think
Easton Holmes had been watching Athena Linton and William Turner from the side, worried about the situation happening. He saw the two of them whispering in each other’s ears and instantly guessed what they were talking about.
"Honey! I’m going over to chat with Athena." He said to Lily Turner beside him before getting up and walking over to Athena Linton and William Turner. His strides were large, and in just a few seconds, he reached their side.
"Athena! Come outside with me for a bit."
Easton Holmes didn’t wait for Athena Linton to react and directly pulled her up from her seat. He didn’t give her a chance to refuse and took her outside the hotel.

Lily Turner only learned recently about Thomas Fisher and Evelyn Taylor pretending to be a couple. A few days ago, Harriet White and Aiden Taylor came home with wedding invitations, and Harriet White chatted about it with Amelia Linton. Lily overheard by chance.
At that time, she had the same doubts and anger as William, but she didn’t rush to question everything like him. She silently walked away, suppressing her anger.

"It’s not what you think. Your Thomas hasn’t fallen out of love; he and Evelyn Taylor are just pretending to be a couple." Lily Turner explained quietly to William Turner, sitting next to her. She understood Thomas Fisher’s predicament and was happy for her sister.
She now only hoped her sister would return soon, not letting those who care and miss her continue to endure this painful wait.
William Turner couldn’t grasp the whole situation and why Thomas Fisher was pretending to be a couple with Evelyn Taylor. He couldn’t understand why his sister was speaking on their behalf.
But hearing that Thomas Fisher hadn’t fallen out of love, just pretending to be a couple with Evelyn Taylor, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Eldest Sister has been gone for five years; why isn’t she back yet? Second Sister! How long will Eldest Sister keep playing hide-and-seek with us?" William Turner really didn’t want to admit that his eldest sister had run away from home, but he had to face the fact. Their eldest sister disappeared without a word, which was indeed running away.
In his eyes, their eldest sister shouldn’t be the kind of person to do such a thing, but the reality surprised him.
