Alice Turner and Thomas Fisher both guessed wrong. The person ringing the doorbell outside wasn’t Anthony at all; it was Benjamin Shaw who had only been by earlier this morning.

This time, Benjamin Shaw didn’t come empty-handed. In both hands, he carried something—a lunch he bought with one hand and some snacks and drinks with the other.

When Anthony came out of the room, he happened to see Benjamin Shaw waiting at the door for it to be opened. Without thinking much, he strode towards Benjamin Shaw.

"Ex-hubby! You’re late, my wife is already full." As Anthony approached, he noticed the things Benjamin was carrying. He could see very clearly that Benjamin had food and drinks in his hands.

He could guess without asking that all these things were for Alice Turner. He felt a pang of envy for Alice, wondering why he never met someone like that, someone who could genuinely care for him.

He didn’t need much; just one person like that would be enough.

Seeing Anthony coming over from the room next door, Benjamin Shaw was quite surprised and puzzled. Weren’t they supposed to be a couple? Why weren’t they living together?

He only kept the surprise and doubt to himself and didn’t ask directly. He calmly looked at the person who had just approached him, "Isn’t Alice here?"

He had been waiting for most of the day, but there was no sign of any movement inside.

"Yes, she’s in there. Mr. Fisher just went in with her. Didn’t you knock?" Anthony said this while keeping his eyes on Benjamin, watching for the other’s reaction.

Upon hearing that Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner were together, Benjamin’s face darkened slightly, and a flash of jealousy passed through his eyes, which Anthony saw clearly. He was quite pleased with this reaction.

"They’ve been in there for quite a while. Mr. Fisher even kicked me out, saying he had things to discuss with my wife." As Anthony spoke, he noticed Benjamin’s face growing darker, so he continued, "What could he possibly have to discuss with my wife? Why do I feel like there’s already a green tint over my head?"

After saying that, he even touched his own head.

Benjamin gave a glance at the self-talking Anthony and suddenly felt a strong sense of shared sympathy with him.

Five years ago, when he knew Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner were together, he felt incredibly miserable inside, just like this man before him. He also felt like there was a green tint on his head.

He was even more uncomfortable because the person who made him green was his good brother.

Recalling what happened five years ago, Benjamin felt worse all over, and an inexplicable anger surged within him.

"What does whether your head is green or not have to do with me? It’s not like I made you green." Because of the anger in his heart, his tone was extremely poor, and his words weren’t very kind.

"Ex-hubby! Why are you so angry? Do you still love my wife?" Anthony, however, remained calm, looking indifferently at Benjamin who was venting at him. He could now be 100% sure: the man in front of him still loved Alice Turner.

One is the ex-husband, and the other is the ex-boyfriend. Whom should he support?

This really is a tricky dilemma! Oh!

Hearing Anthony’s question, Benjamin suddenly realized that his earlier words might have been a bit too much. He quickly collected himself, stifling the anger on his face, and turned around to face the door.
