Chapter 1382: I Promise to Keep My Distance
Hearing the waiter speak, Alice Turner strode towards the door, as the ancestor outside was quite capricious; she couldn’t let him continue messing around.
"Honey! You finally agreed to open the door for me."
As soon as Alice opened the door, the person outside immediately pounced on her, and after doing so, conveniently shut the door, leaving the waiter with an awkward expression outside.
"Anthony! If you don’t let go, believe it or not, I’ll..."
"Honey! Please don’t kick me, I’ll let go immediately."
Seeing Alice putting on a stern face, Anthony quickly withdrew his hands and released her from his embrace.
Alice picked up the phone to check the time and immediately started to send Anthony back to his room: "Hurry back to your room, we have important things to do tomorrow."
As she spoke, she pushed him towards the door.
"I can’t sleep alone, I want to stay here and sleep with you, please let me stay and sleep with you!" Anthony hugged Alice’s arms with both hands, shaking and acting cutesy with her.
Looking at Anthony, who was holding her arm and acting cutesy, Alice sighed helplessly, "You can sleep here, but you’d better behave yourself, or else my foot won’t be polite."

How did she end up with someone like this, so clingy and troublesome?
"I knew you would let me stay, honey! You’re the best!" Hearing Alice agree to let him stay, Anthony was overjoyed and leaned in to give her a peck on the cheek before quickly running to the big bed before Alice could explode.
Watching the figure running swiftly towards the big bed, Alice’s lips curled up in a helpless yet affectionate smile.
"Honey! I’ll warm the bed for you first, you..."
"Shut up!"
Before Anthony could finish his sentence, Alice pointed at him with a finger, forcibly stopping him from continuing.
Seeing this, Anthony made a zipping motion over his mouth with his hand and then slipped under the covers.
Alice glanced at Anthony, who had burrowed under the covers, turned around, and walked to the bathroom. When she came out of the bathroom, she didn’t head toward the big bed but instead walked over to the sofa.
Anthony had been watching Alice’s movements, and when he saw her heading towards the sofa, he immediately sat up on the bed, "You’re not going to sleep with me?"
Hearing Anthony speak to her, Alice instinctively stopped in her tracks, tilted her head to look at Anthony sitting up in bed, "I’m not a peaceful sleeper, I’m afraid I’ll kick you out of bed in the middle of the night."
After speaking, she glanced at the person sitting on the bed and then continued walking towards the sofa.
"I don’t mind, I have thick skin and I’m not afraid of you kicking me." Anthony raised his hand to pat the spot beside him and then shuffled towards the edge, making enough room for Alice, "Come on, I promise to keep a distance."
As he spoke, Anthony shuffled even further to the edge of the bed.
By this time, Alice had already reached the sofa. Hearing Anthony say this, she looked back at him, "You’d better lie down and sleep, or I’ll kick you out."
Her words carried a threat, as she was determined to make the person lingering on her bed become more obedient.
"Alright, I get it."
Anthony glanced at Alice and dejectedly lay back down on the bed.
Seeing the ancestor on the bed finally calming down, Alice bent down and sat on the sofa.
