Chapter 1390: Did She Agree?
Thomas Fisher’s words just shocked Alice Turner; after not seeing him for five years, he’s become domineering, assertive, and so shameless.
"You’re determined to have her, but have you asked for her opinion? Has she agreed?" Anthony didn’t come forward to fight with Thomas Fisher for Alice Turner, but instead stayed where he was, staring at the two of them, with a mischievous smile at the corner of his mouth.
Thomas Fisher, without a moment’s hesitation, said firmly: "She will agree."
Five years ago, he had already decided on her, determined she was the love of his life; he couldn’t let go, absolutely couldn’t let go, would do whatever it takes to win her back.
"Thomas Fisher! I won’t agree, let go of me now." Alice Turner struggled to break free from Thomas Fisher’s embrace, but the more she struggled, the tighter his arms held her.
"I won’t let go, not in this lifetime. Don’t think you can escape from me again." Thomas Fisher held Alice Turner tightly, wishing he could embed her into his body so that he wouldn’t have to worry about her suddenly disappearing again.
Hearing Thomas Fisher speak like this, Alice Turner’s heart felt pierced by something, causing her pain, her brows furrowed. She took a long time to slowly calm down.
"Thomas Fisher! I have a husband now, please have some respect!" She stopped struggling because she knew struggling was useless; she simply couldn’t push him away.
"So what if you have a husband? Five years ago, you also had a husband, but in the end, you were with me." Thomas Fisher blurted out without thinking, regretting as soon as he spoke, but it was too late for regret.
Alice Turner stared at him for a long time before speaking indifferently: "The husband from five years ago didn’t love me, but my current husband loves me very much. You had a chance five years ago, but you don’t now."
An indifferent tone, an indifferent expression, an indifferent demeanor, everything about her was indifferent.
"He loves you, but do you love him?" Thomas Fisher’s eyes fixed intensely on Alice Turner; a person’s mouth might lie, but the eyes could not deceive.
Alice Turner knew Thomas Fisher wanted to discern something from her eyes. With determination, she looked at him coolly, "Of course I love him, so please let me go immediately."
After speaking, her gaze shifted to Anthony standing nearby, "Husband! Is it fun watching your wife being held by another man like this?"
She called him husband with deliberate flirtation.
"Not fun! Not fun at all, actually it’s awful." Anthony received Alice Turner’s plea for help and took a big step forward, getting close to Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner, "Hey handsome! If you don’t let go of my wife, I won’t be polite to you."
While speaking, she rolled up her sleeves, as if ready to fight.
"I..."
At this moment, the waiter came over with the meal ordered by Alice Turner and Anthony. Seeing the situation, the waiter was very perplexed, completely unable to understand what was happening.
"Sir! Ma’am! Your..."
"Put it on the table."
Before the waiter could finish speaking, Anthony impatiently interrupted, pointing at the table as if implying to the waiter to quickly put it down and leave as they needed to deal with things here.
The waiter looked at the three of them briefly, then placed the meal on the table and hurriedly turned and left.
