Chapter 1391: Stay Away From Him Next Time
In Thomas Fisher’s eyes, Anthony was so small and weak that he wasn’t worth mentioning. When he saw Anthony rolling up his sleeves like he was ready for a fight, he didn’t take him seriously at all.
"Not polite? How are you going to be ’not polite’?" Thomas Fisher said disdainfully, looking contemptuously at Anthony as he approached. He tightened his arms around Alice Turner, holding her even closer.
This stupid man! Is he trying to strangle her to death?
Alice, worried she might be strangled and afraid the two men would actually get into a fight, decisively lifted her foot and kicked Thomas Fisher hard on the leg.
"Hiss..."
Thomas Fisher was so focused on his silent confrontation with Anthony that he didn’t notice Alice’s actions. He didn’t expect her to attack him, and unprepared, he took a solid kick from her.
Taking advantage of his momentary distraction from the pain, she forcefully pushed herself away from his embrace.
Once she successfully freed herself from Thomas Fisher’s hold, Alice Turner grabbed Anthony and headed towards the restaurant door. Just as they were about to reach it, the waiter who had just served them suddenly blocked their path.
"The two of you haven’t..."
"That gentleman will pay the bill!"
The moment the waiter stopped them, Alice instantly understood what the waiter meant. Without waiting for the waiter to finish speaking, she pointed at Thomas Fisher, directly indicating that he would settle the bill.
With that, she led Anthony around the waiter and strode out of the restaurant.
Worried Thomas Fisher might chase them and cause trouble, Alice Turner flagged down a taxi once they were outside the restaurant. Just as they got into the car, she saw him rushing out from the restaurant.
"Driver! Please drive quickly."
Alice anxiously tapped the back of the driver’s seat and urged the driver to start moving. It was only after she urged him that she realized she hadn’t said where to go, and quickly added, "Garden Hotel, thank you!"
While urging the driver, she kept turning her head to watch the figure chasing after them.
The taxi driver glanced at Alice Turner and Anthony through the rearview mirror, then stepped on the gas pedal and quickly merged onto the road.
Seeing the taxi they were in enter the road, Alice finally began to relax her tense nerves. But then she remembered that Thomas Fisher now knew which hotel she was staying at, and she tensed up all over again.
"Sis! Who was that man just now? He seemed to really love you." Anthony didn’t know what was going on between Thomas Fisher and Alice, but he could tell that Thomas seemed quite fond of Alice. He turned slightly to look at her as she sat beside him.
Alice Turner glanced at Anthony, who looked curious, but didn’t directly answer his question. Instead, she replied evasively, "Stay away from him when you see him in the future."
Sitting next to her, this guy was seen as a rival in Thomas Fisher’s eyes, so she needed to warn him to be cautious of that man in the future.
"Why should I stay away from him? Are you worried that I might hurt him?" Anthony knew exactly what Alice meant, but intentionally twisted her words.
Hearing this, Alice wanted to say to Anthony: With your feeble moves, how could you hurt anyone?
But knowing saying that might hurt his self-esteem, she kept the thought to herself and instead said something else, "This is Flame City, dear!"
