After William Turner went upstairs to his room, he lay on the bed facing the ceiling, staring blankly at it. His mind was filled with scenes from last night, and the more he thought about it, the more irritable he became.

Bang, bang, bang!

Upon hearing the knock on the door, William Turner instinctively withdrew his gaze from the ceiling and slowly tilted his head towards the door of his room.

The door was not closed, and after Lily Turner knocked, she walked over to her brother lying on the bed. "What are you thinking about so deeply?"

Before William Turner could finish, Lily Turner interjected, knowing that ever since Athena did what she did last night, that was what she believed—that Athena had acted on impulse.

She had known her sister-in-law for several years, and although not too thoroughly, she had a good sense of what kind of person her sister-in-law was.
