Raydor Holy Sword War Journal

5. Young Lords of Pioneering Cities

Going back five years now.

Raidor Zain, the second prince of the kingdom of Zain, was expelled from the king's capital and sent to the pioneering city of the south of the kingdom.

Although he was nominally Raydor given the status of "lord," his gaze from the people of the pioneering city directed at him was less favourable.

Half the gaze directed at a 12-year-old prince is an eye of sympathy for a young prince who was to live in a harsh periphery. The other half is obviously the gaze of disdain that pregnant "Hara" with the hostile heart "Aiki Shin".

In the first place, that town, which at the time was an unnamed pioneering city, was not built with the aid of the Kingdom of Zayn.

It was a town built voluntarily by a guild of adventurers who made fighting demons their business, soliciting the will to do so.

It is like being scratched from the side by hard-won polished jewels, such as a lord being sent from the kingdom to such a pioneering city. It wasn't very, but it wasn't acceptable.

If it was not the 12-year-old boy who became a lord, he might have pursued the elimination of the lord with violent means such as assassination.

The adventurers who built the pioneering city did not conceal their ill-will towards Raidor, who became lords, and the young prince was to lead a needle-like life.

Neglected by his brother Prince, Granard, he is abandoned by his trusted subordinates and fiancées, and besides, he continues to be exposed to a gaze of sympathy and malice on the border where he was exiled and flowed.

After such a dragging fall into hell, Raydor crawled down the ground and tasted the humiliation of soaking muddy water. He kept crying until his tears withered and scratched the ground until his nails came off.

But - the young prince didn't end up there. While experiencing the bottom of his life, Raydor chose to crawl up from the bottom of hell in agony.

"Guildmaster, teach me how to fight demons!

With grief and despair in his chest, Raydor rose abruptly and volunteered to be a disciple by visiting Bartolomeo Zaphis, who was the guild master with those two legs.

"Heh... I thought you were just a lord of fame, that's a lot of nerve. Funny."

Zaphis, surprised by the actions of his young lord, happily admitted to beating Raydor into the way he fought as an adventurer.

Originally, Zaphis had a difficult part in the treatment of a young prince who became a lord.

I sympathize with the situation my brother has neglected to send me to the border, but it is not preferable for the Royal Palace to interfere more than necessary in the pioneering city.

That's why you can't let go of other adventurers pointing bad feelings at a twelve-year-old prince either.

In that sense, I'm glad to say that Raydor's apprenticeship is a ship on the crossing.

Zaphis dared to take Raydor to the guild's training ground, beating young lords where they could see in the eyes of other adventurers, and teaching them how to fight back from the core.

Originally Raydor wore the foundations of swordsmanship as a royal preference, but his talent stood out only by being chosen as the owner of the Holy Sword.

Though the Holy Sword had been taken up by Granard, the protection of the Holy Sword did reside within Raydor's body, so that its power could be used gradually.

The eyes of the adventurers around him also change for the first time in Raydor's growth as he builds up his strength in harsh training.

By the time he was 18 years old, Raydor had braided his own magical sword called The Cursed Sword Fight, which made him the best swordsman in the pioneering city.

The people of the town also began to look at respect and trust to young people who were always at the forefront of fighting during monster raids and other events.

Raid, a pioneering city

The name of that town, which was later named, was a sign of respect and familiarity with the young lords who were fighting for their lives to protect the pioneering cities.
