56. Demons nesting in lakes

Going west of King Zayn's capital for half a day.

There was a lake called Lake Alar off the street and proceeded north through the forest.

It was a lake that was treated as a valuable source of water from a nearby village, but the water suddenly dried up about three months ago.

The cause is unknown. Rain is not caused by sunshine because it falls just like normal years.

It had already begun to have an impact on crops.

A request had been made to the Wang Capital Guild from the village on the side of the lake to find out the cause, but the poor rural villagers could not be adequately remunerated and were left without adventurers to take the request.

The fields were desolate, the wells withered, and many villages were now just about doomed.

"Imperial Sacred Swordsmanship [Thunderbolt]!

"Go-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!"

Bottom of a dead lake. Ceilia waved down the holy sword with the lightning.

Eat thunder and slaughter at once and scream as low as the monster that was nesting at the bottom sounds from the ground.

It was a monster like the roots of a giant plant that was lurking beneath the bottom of Lake Alar, the dead ground and sucking up the water of the lake indefinitely.

It once appeared in a pioneering city on the border. That was also in Raydor's memory.

"Diowpalma... why are there demonic plants in the Devil's Forest that I rarely even see?"

With a frivolous sigh, Raydor watched the battle between Ceylia and the plant monster from a little further away.

Diouparma is the largest of the plant-based demons. The size, as well as the scale of the damage.

He was a disaster-class monster who inhaled no groundwater left within a radius of dozens of kilometres by himself.

I had crusaded what appeared in the pioneering city about two years ago, but it is the first demon you should not see in this thin area of Mana.

Dioupalma, who emerged from the ground, was more than 10 metres long and giant enough to look up.

But Ceilia was waving her sword at such a giant monster without a single step to pull.

"Yaaaaaaaa!"

"Goaaaaaaaaa!"

Thunderlight scatters at the bottom of the lake every time Ceilia flips her sword.

Though Diowpalma also resists shaking her roots like a whip, she was not able to capture the rapidly moving princess and was unilaterally chopped up.

Eventually, more than a dozen minutes later, Diowpalma had become just a dead body cramped with pimples.

"That's the Holy Sword Holder of the Empire. That's the son of Thunder. Disaster Demons."

"Brother, are you going to hate that? You want to say," But you lost to me, "right?

"It's an honest compliment. Don't look at me."

Ceilia, who almost defeated Dioupalma alone, looks back at Raydor and swells her cheeks dissatisfied.

He shrugged his shoulders back to such an empress, and Raydor looked up at the demonic giant lying on the ground.

"No, I really think you're flattered and awesome. I've fought this guy before, too, but I've struggled harder. Thunder's Holy Sword Klausorus, if it's just power and penetration, you're way above Darinslave."

Raydor nodded smudgingly, ignoring the holy sword on his hips vibrating into small pieces to protest.

"Right... maybe even your brother can take you down now? Return match, shall we try?

"Stop it, you want to lose the protection of the Holy Sword again?

"Ugh... I knew it was sloppy"

It was Ceilia, who is now temporarily unsealed, but if she did anything like point her sword at Raydor here, she would seal her powers again.

Keeping Kachiri and Klausoras in sheath as they swell their cheeks dissatisfied.

"Well...... this solves it. The lake water will be back soon."

"Is it easy to get water back even though it's not rainy? Until then, I'm sure we'll all be in trouble..."

"No, it's no problem. This demon..."

Before Raydor could say it out to the end, Dioupalma's body ripped with pissilli.

A huge slice of plant roots floods with water.

"Wow! Damn the water...!

"Soraki! We're getting away!"

"Huh? Huh!? Brother Huh!?"

Ignoring Ceilia, who screamed in haste, Raydor escaped from the bottom of the lake only himself.

Slightly earlier than Ceilia followed on its back, a giant water column flashes from Dioupalma's body.

"Khaaaaaaaaaa!?"

"This is what happens when you kill that one. Get out of the lake now!

"Hey, say it quickly. Whoa, whoa, whoa!

Ceilia tries to crawl out of the lake in a hard way, even as she is about to be swallowed up by water flooding like a flood.

Raydor, who had escaped earlier, grabbed Ceilia's arm and pulled it up to power.

"When you defeat Dioupalma, he sucks in and spits out the moisture he's been accumulating in his body all at once. I was flushed and blinded once."

"Ugh... so let me tell you that before I defeat you... because I resent you, brother"

Ceilia enters the ground and looks up at Raydor resentfully as she bishops her entire body.

The clothes worn by the adorable princess were much wetter, and too thin a line of body emerged.

"... Sounds like you should eat some more meat. And cow and goat's milk."

"... brother, what do you suddenly say? I'll kill you when I get back to you."
